If you got a bat make an elixir and put it in your last hotbar slot. When you throw the honey and he walks up to eat it. Walk up to ride it like you’re supposed to and you’ll see the elixir light up in the hotbar when you get close enough, drink it before you hop on and start riding to give yourself a nice 30% boost and less rides.

The saddle lets you breath under water as well as shoot the turret so its pretty decent to get around on

With a saddle nothing can damage you, not even fire balls from magmasaurs or posion balls from posion wyverns. It also prevents the player from losing oxygen underwater and you can't be dismounted.

Fort you need a chilies suit to make things as easy as possible, on Fjordur it’s not to hard to get a set. Then, get honey (there’s often hives lying around) and put it in your hop bar. When you find the Andrew you wanna tame, throw down the honey, wait for it to eat it, and then quickly run up and mount it. It will have arrows that tell you to steer left and right. Before the bottom bar can reach fully red, dismount so it won’t agro to you. Usually doing this 2-3 times tames it.

Actually simple tames, if you tame in Asgard! I was going nuts, super annoyed taming on regular map, but saw a tip to tame in Asgard! All flat land, and tons of them spawn super quick. Get rid of the lower levels, and more spawn within minutes. Use ghillie!! You won’t be seen when you dismount. Use A & D keys (not arrows). Taming effectiveness only goes up when you’re pressing them during the mini game and the arrow lights up green. Jump off right BEFORE red rage bar fills fully. Took 2 honey and 2 rides for me to tame levels 143-165.

If you use cactus broth, you can tame it without killing off all other andrews in the area, and it won’t aggro if you get bucked.

How to tame an andrewsarchus:

1. Throw honey near it.

2. Once it starts eating the honey, mount it.

3. After mounting, you will need to start steering left or right. There will be an Indicator.

4. Unmount before the red meter fills up.

5. Repeat until the andrewsarchus is tamed.

-Also their saddles protect you from radiation or lava, and gives you infinite oxygen underwater.

Had lvl 247 female bred it with a 234 make imprinted the baby, every point put into health would raise health by 1200, as for melee it would go up 15% for every point. Ib conclusion non-imprinted Andrew’s are OP, however imprinted is js far more better.

To tame these early game, just spawn in Vardiland North. As you travel up the shore, you’ll find a shipwreck, you can get metal tools there. With a metal pick you can collect honey from the honey rocks with 200m of the shipwreck. You WILL be in andrewsarchus territory near the shipwreck. You will easily find andrewsarchus near the shipwreck too. Just throw honey, mount the little guy, and play the minigame. You can get a good andrew even if your level is sub 10. Good Luck!

✨The easiest and fastest way to tame an Andrew :)✨~ First, you must have honey in order to lure it, or else you will be unable to ride it. You can usually find some honey crops (they look like square stones with honey combs sticking out) around the area you’ll find an Andrew (they usually spawn around certain open fields, go to google to find some spawns) once you spot a Andrew, make sure you single one out, make sure there isn’t another one near by, or a deadly predator to close either, they could distract the Andrew and/or kill you. Once you have the opportunity, put honey in your hot bar and press whatever button you need to use it, the honey will be thrown decently far from you (MAKE SURE YOU'RE CROUCHED AND NOT TO CLOSE TO IT). If it is close enough then the Andrew will slowly walk towards it, once it’s head goes down to eat it sprint up to it and ride it like you would a tamed creature, two arrows will appear on your screen, when one lights up (it will look bright white), turn your joystick or press whatever button you must to turn it in that same direction. Keep a close eye on the RED bar under the other bar with the taming progress on it, once the line is close, leap off (if you don’t, it will kick you off and attack you) then, throw out more honey and repeat the process until it is tamed! (Tip: if you get kicked off and are chased off or die but are able to spawn close, go into your tame section in your inventory (it will be one of the boxes at the very top) and click on the Andrew you’re taming, it will track it and show you its stats tame-wise!) - DJ Fox

Have honey in your hotbar, crouch behind/ near it, use honey in hotbar to throw it, ride andrewsarchus, to steer use left analog stick or A and D for PC, lastly make sure to jump off before the taming bar gets fully red to prevent it kicking you off and aggro on to you. Goodluck!
