Resources: The Ammonite can not be tamed but does provided plenty of resources lincluding Ammonite Bile, Black Pearls, Chitin, Oil and Silica Pearls, which are all valuable for manufacturing, fabrication, and crafting various items that use these materials. Specifcally, the Pheromone Dart is made with Ammonite Bile, which can be used to make any wild creature aggressive to a targeted creature or survivor that is hit.

Enraging Wild Dinos: Though it is often unfavorable to attract much of the deep sea or cave predators toward you when attacking an Ammonite, it could possibly be useful in specific situations of underwater ambush or escape.

Taming assistance: Their rage ability can be an annoyance but is perfect for drawing the attention of rare animals for taming to safe locations.

As these creatures seem non deadly they release pheromones that call the ocean so it's being a scary catcall its friends this is a good way to find certain animals and get the to swim to you if you have god console on ark mobile not sure if its available on pc or console but if you do turn on invulnerable. if you dont good luck or have a strong water tame with you good luck peeps.

They seem as though they are the spaghetti of the sea. Not to soft, delicious, important, and you should not mess with it.

Watch out if you fight one there might be a mosa near waiting to ambush you.

I thought it was only sea creatures but there is a glitch where if you find a beached one that is still alive and you kill it, all the LAND animals come to get you.

You cannot tame an ammonite but if forcetamed with admin cheats it can be ridden. When ridden you are clipping through it's shell and it is actually walking on the sea floor and can die from fall damage.
