Once the two jerboa’s eyes had Adjusted the female jerboa, Nova made her way to her nest and curled up in it, the male, Destiny sat in a corner and glared at Nova, “Nova.”

“No Destiny, I’m going to sleep I don’t want to talk about it”

Destiny scoffed, curled up in his nest, and succumbed to the nighttime vision’s, or as humans say, dreams.

Destiny woke at sunrise, cold rain poured outside glittering as the sun reflected on them, Destiny sniffed the air for signs of predators, but the rain made it hard for him to scent anything but salty water and we tree bark, Nova was still asleep when a loud ‘thump’ that Thundered outside the den startled her awake, “what was tha-“ Nova started, but Destiny cut her off with a sharp hush, something was trying to dig into the den, and it was hungry. -BoXXy
