Not only do these guys defecate cementing paste, they produce it & organic polymer passively if set on wander. If you need cp, tame a few. They produce 100 cp. Idk if lvling weight effects how much org poly it can hold? Maybe lvling food makes it defecate more? Idk 🤷‍♂️ Leveling these guys doesn’t do anything :/ frustrating but I have 3, building a metal base a lot faster than grinding chitin and stone or beezlebuffo. Swear beezlebuffo should be able to harvest cp off spiders and scorpions, dinos that drops chitin ;( but they don’t

Pro tip: pick up with pterodon bring to enclosed base collect slime when it’s dropped. Don’t need cake for that.

I live in redwoods and i wanted Achatina,i got it. i was going in imune cave, when i was back it had 100 cementing paste AND!!!!!!! 100 organic polymer in its inventory

These guys will produce cementing paste if you enable wandering, put them in a cage, turn wandering on and they will produce cp for a max of 100 until you take the paste

If your taming just to get Achatina paste and don’t have Sweet Vegetable Cake don’t bother taming it pick it up with a pteranodon and bring it back to your base. They will still produce

After taming put in a cageand place on wander. Then you can collect the paste without having to chase them!

Plop it at your base and then somehow aquire a personal honey bee hive for veggie cakes. Great for polymer and cementing paste. Upgrade their food bar whenever it gets enough exp. So then it can go a lot longer without food, and wont die as fast from starvation. I can play for like three days and then decide whether or not I want to top up its food bar.

To whoever said they haven’t gotten any Cementing Paste and only Achatina Paste, they’re basically the same thing. So in mid-game have at least 4 of these tamed and you’ll have infinite cement paste.

Only level up the food stat after taming. That way you can go a long while in between feeding sessions.

Noob Informer 2.0: So, Achatinas, they spawn on every map except Genesis Part 1, they are good for getting Cementing Paste and eventually Organic Polymer, they do not Pose any Threats in the Wild whatsoever, neither when Tamed, Achatinas are tamed via Veggie Cakes, which are decently Challenging to make, but you will get it! I forgot how to make Veggie Cakes but I believe in whoever is taking this as Advice! :D, Anyways, to tame a Achatina, make some Veggie Cakes, And ONLY Shoots them in the Head when Tranqing, they are Relatively easy to knock out, and on The Island, they can be found in the Redwoods, and on Crystal Isles, Grasslands, that is all I know pretty much, I don’t see them often on any other Maps, once they are Knocked out feed them Veggie Cakes and let them Tame! Once they are Tamed enjoy you’re Achatina! :>, I would recommend Crafting a Wooden Cage and picking up a Achatina and YEET it in there, set it on Wandering, and you have a Organic Polymer and Cementing Paste Farmer! If you want to never worry about cementing paste or organic polymer, just have a bunch of them with a feeding trough or a daeodon woth passive heal on, and you have a infinite supply of cementing paste/organic polymer. Hope this helps.

Maybe someone said this already,but achatina’s drop angler gel when killed and harvested

You can get a small amount of angler gel by killing and harvest it

I get 4 angler gel by harvest it with my argie

Highly suggest you have a farm going before you tame one so you can continue making vegi cakes. Also be aware a snail doesn't need to eat a lot, so even 5 cakes will last a long time.

In my experience, it's just easier to farm bugs on beelzebufo for cementing paste and use a pelagornis to farm organic polymer from wild/bred kairuku instead of using expensive resources to feed the achatina. I guess if you live in redwoods by a lake with irrigation pipes carrying water up to your trees base with tons of sap taps, then go ahead and tame an army. But if you're like me, and you live on the southern haven, you can't really get the resources needed for achatina efficiently.

They produce one achitina paste every min and can only hold one stack in there inventory no matter what their carry weight is so do some math with that ok good have fun

Put tamed Achatina in a wooden cage on wander. Then check periodically to take off organic cementing paste (which does not spoil). This prevents picking up thier cementing paste poop but you only get 1 from each poop so not a big loss. Tame 5 to 10 and have a cementing paste farm and great organic polymer storage.

You don’t necessarily need to tame these guys! If you live somewhere relatively safe, then use your pteranodon to pick one up and take it back to your base! They poop/make paste only one at a time so you’ll need a few but saves time and resources taming these dudes
