What is a achatina used for? achatina battling strategies in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
These creatures are great for cementing paste. Just tame some using veggie cakes, (that’s the only thing they eat) and KO is very easy. Put them in a small hut or something and set them to wander. You will get so much paste! If you kill them in the wild, you get angler gel. It’s much easier than diving for anglers or killing deathworms. Thx for reading!
It will only produce 100 Achatina paste at a time. Once it holds 100 it stops producing so be sure to collect it often. You can carry these while flying a mountain as well so flying to the artic with one and clubbing penguins and storing the organic polymer in the snail takes advantage of the 3x spoil timer. Pump carry weight and FOOD
To effectively farm cementing paste, put the achatina in a cage and set it to wander. It will generate 100 cementing paste in its inventory over a period of time, as well as dropping one every 60 seconds or so. Keep in mind that the cementing paste generated caps at 40, so be sure to empty it’s inventory frequently as possible. Although it is labeled achatina paste, there is no visual or use-case differences. They also increase the spoil timer on organic polymer so I recommend using it as storage for poly.
The achatina is a small snail, carryable by hand, that can be useful if you are missing a small amount of cementing paste, and can’t be bothered to go and get the supplies to craft more. It poops and passively generates achatina paste, which is identical functionally and visually to cementing paste. It can hold up to 100 at a time.
The Achatina is a massive snail, mostly used for its production of Cementing Paste, or as a pet. This creature produces its paste passively — and quite frequently — so many survivors keep them around their bases. However, its usefulness pretty much ends there, as it cannot attack and moves quite slow. The Achatina must be tamed violently.~Steel Cookie 123
True story. We tamed 6 achitnas for cementing paste and polymer farming. Their pen is near our ovirapter who is weighted down and set on wander. These snails reproduced. We returned from an adventure and found 6 mini me's! We separated the achitnas into pens divided with wooden rails and they still reproduced. Not one was set to "enable mating". We finally spayed all of them to get them to stop! If you want organic polymer (store on the achitnas) and cementing paste you will have more than enough in no time. Spare the baby penguins!
Instead of caging mine, I put them in a non ground level room, set to wander and they stay in place creating paste and poly. You're welcome. Easier to lone them out especially when you have 20+ out at a time. I only raise on multiplier events. Low levels aren't worth the tame, you need high food slimers
