Hello viewer this is everything you need to know about this large snail, or more commonly known as achintina. These gaint snails com in many shapes and sizes. It’s rare to see these snails anywhere else besides the swamp. They are incapable of fighting back if harmed and they will retreat. As you could tell by the name they are snails, meaning they have the slowest movement speed in the game. So they are able to hide inside there she’ll and shield themselves from dmg of any kind. Taming is large risk as this creature spawns in the swamp lands. The swamp is very dangerous and filled with arks most dangerous and aggressive creatures such as the karposuchus and titanboa. When taming these guys only eat cakes of some kind. When it comes to knocking it out use tranq arrows to bring the creature down. Even it its shell it won’t stop the tranq chemicals from whering the creature down. Once knocked out feed it the cakes. And bam you have your little snail pet. You can also put hat gear of it.

They drop Cementing Paste and produce Cementing paste+Polymere in their inventory. Organic Poly Production is very low.

Like said before, it produces cementing paste and organic polymer.

Pro tip 1: put it in a wooden cage and set it on wandering. He cant escape, and you wont have to build a pen.

Pro tip 2: put the organic polymer with oil in a cooking pot. I think its like 3 organic polymer and 3 oil to make soap. Soap doesnt spoil. When you need the polymer you can put the soap in the grinder and grind it for like 1 polymer for 1 soap. You lose some polymer but it doesnt spoil.

Living in the redwood forest, the snails can be used to race(as a added bonus the more they move the more cement paste you get) and you can carry them.

If you can’t make the veggie cakes to take them you can pick them up and let the go around your base dropping paste on the ground. It’s less effective than taking them but also much cheaper.

This is your go to creature on aberration, get like 2-4 and you don't have paste problems, in other maps you don't need them cause the bieverdams give more and it's annoying to hand feed them every time sweet vegetable cake, that's the only thing they eat even after tame. Only tame low level ones! Unless you wanna stand next to it like 20 min, only level on hunger. If they have 100 paste (maximum) they produce organic polymer and and it takes longer time to spoil poly in their inventory. They are breed able but it don't work right now because you can't feed them cakes (you can't put it in their inventory) only with mea wings it's possible but you need A LOT OF CAKES it isn't worth it because taming one is easier. They are found in the swamp and redwood some times, in aberration they are in the blue zone and in the border of the blue and green zone. That's everything you need to know.

For easy angler gel you can go to the swamps and kill them

There is a nice glitch when you tame one of these just quit the game and rejoin and it's inventory will be full with cementing paste and organic polymer.

A bit expensive to feed, but worth it.

Wish we had it on SE. Having a cementing paste/polymer producer is definetly useful.

Don’t even bother trying to tame one of these. Just get on your argy, pick up a wild one around swamp area and carry back to base. Drop it inside or around your base where it’s safe and contained and just collect all the paste it drops. No need for all that taming hassle.
