That would be cool if you could get it’s shell after you kill it and then you could use it for a shield of some sort.

On Xbox you have to nocout the creature to see the lvl but on PS4 you can see the lvl and these creatures are so good for cementing paste

on mobile these guys give angler gel so i grab one with pteranodon and bring to my base then kill it with a direwolf.

For newbies who can’t make veggie cakes, just kidnap the snail things with a Petradon and drop them in a 3x3 foundation circle with the middle foundation not there and fences all around the middle.

It’s not as efficient as taming them, but you’ll have them when you need them to tame!

What really sucks about these is that it only eats sweet vegetable cakes even after being tamed. Be warned, they do not eat berries / crops after being tamed.

There should be longrass-bread (cornbread) in Ark. Put longrass and oil in a preserving bin and wait, then you have dried longrass. Then grind it up in a mortar and pestle and you have longrass flour. Then mix with water in a campfire and you have cornbread! Should keep a long while and fill a lot of hunger. This would be awesome. Up so Developers can see!

In mobile, they drop cementing paste and produce it in their inventory (tamed).

You don’t need to tame the snail, just use a flyer to drop it into a room and it will make paste.

It's definitely worth it if you have a+ animal tender. You can get several hundred stacks of cp a day.

A great way to get cementing paste and organic polymer early-game. Definitely recommended, it’s an extremely easy tame and can be picked up even by a pteranodon. They spawn in the swamps so I recommend doing this and bringing it somewhere safe.

Instead of giving you poop it gives you cementing paste

They are so hard to tame that I just recommend you to go to a cave with a high lv smilodon/sabertooth and you will have a lot of chitin to get a lot of cp. Faster.

Great tame for getting cementing paste. Tame - put in wooden cage - enable wandering - collect 100 CP every 30 mins or so.

Or as no one else seems to have noticed, once tamed and caged and placed on wandering, exit game, load back up check snail inventory and collect 100 CP - exit game - load game - collect 100 CP - repeat until bored or have more CP than you know what to do with.

Works on single player at least. 10/7/19

Can not use lettuce as food or for taming despite the Official page saying they eat lettuce on prim+

It is a trophy critter because sweet vegetable cake means bee business because it needs BEE HONEY. What a rare sight.

For the ultimate cementing/achatina-Paste factory, place as many achatinas in da dino leash with smallest radius, and have one or two gachas sitting right next to it. The snails will poop cp every few seconds and the gachas will automatically pick it up. Thank me later

Overcumber and put on wandering for paste get a gacha close to them to pick up all paste you get loads!!!

One of the best ways by far to collect paste if you use the S+ mod. Tame a ton of them (12 is how many I have. It’s a little much...). Use the S+ Collector to passively collect their pasty poop, and regularly pull all their inventories. To keep them fed, use an S+ Tek Feeding Trough and set it so that only Achatina’s will eat from it and fill it with cake.

I don’t worry about paste now. Day 780 something on the server and have a surplus of about 80,000. This method is ideal with S+ (as most of us use it). However, regularly checking their inventories will also yield more than you’ll need.

Why even tame just to need sweet cakes?

I picked mine wild with an argy, put it in a pen and pop in to collect every so often...
