This snail is greedy as heck. Why is it eating so much cake? Make it eat something else, please. I really don’t want to tame 3 creatures just to get a darn snail. I need an ovis for the wool for the bug repellent for the giant bee for the honey for the cake for the snail. I also need a dung beetle for the fertilizer for the crops for the cakes. Overall, they should just make it eat berries. It’ll make this creature more popular and worth taming.

When it’s moving around, it will make a substitute of cementing paste, which works the exact same! No more raiding beaver homes! #reallifesaver

For the snail that would be cementing past and achidna paste.

They give angler gel on mobile.

I saw a tip saying they only give achatina paste- yes, but this is used as cementing paste.

Great for backup polymer near a fabricator, but beware it only eats veggie cakes, tamed or otherwise, so it may prove difficult to feed if you don't have a good source of cakes

On mobile casual mode, fridges are better for organic-to-regular poly conversion since you get 100% back, vs 25% with grinder.

This thing is Overrated. Beaver dams or gen 2 shop is better

I don’t tame them . I just carry them home on a flyer and drop them in some thatch and every once in a while I will go get achinta paste no veggie cakes needed only down side is you don’t organic polemer

HOW TO GET UNLIMITED CEMENTING PASTE WITH A BUG (only tested on mobile on singleplayer)

1)get yourself an achatina(The more, the better)

it has to be tamed.

2)First save then rejoin ark. You will find your achatina with 100 paste and some organic poly. Repeat this process until you have gotten the amount u want.

If this doesnt work for you make sure when you enter ark you click on the popup that says "Continue Game" dont join manually.

Making cakes constantly can be a pain in the butt, espicially that these guys only eat cakes even after being tamed (which doesnt make any sense imo), the would produce paste and poli but I think taming them isnt worthy, unless you are ok with spending amber to mass collect cakes from the chef station thingy, or if youre patient and are only focused on making cakes all day long (good luck with that)

Level speed and keep these on assist at all times; if they or you are attacked while on assist, these will become scared and try to run away. Leveling speed should be enough to keep those pesky Dilos away from your Snail long enough for them to lose interest.

They will breed randomly on their own.. weird

These guys also drop Angler Gell, and if you shoot the butt you can do damage while they’re in their shell, so you don’t have to get on your water tame and hunt Anglers, please up if this is helpful

The Achatina is a massive snail, mostly used for its production of Cementing Paste, or as a pet. This creature produces its paste passively — and quite frequently — so many survivors keep them around their bases. However, its usefulness pretty much ends there, as it cannot attack and moves quite slow. The Achatina must be tamed violently.

Tame a few of these (tamed with vegetable cake) and put them in a fenced in area on wondering and you can go in there every once in a while and get some cementing paste from their grey poop looking stuff
