Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a achatina? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a achatina.
They actually lose a little bit of taming percetage each time they eat a cake. This is because the 30 second cooldown timer on the cakes. So during this 30 seconds it is loosing taming percentage. I had one losing 0.8 percent each time, which made me need 10 more cakes than what dododex says, also needing much more narcotic to keep unconscious longer because of the loss. The game devs need to fix this bug or you will be short everytime.
NOT carriable by tapejara. I tried it, I could not pick it up. Ptera worked however.
You gonna need a farm for vegetable cake to tame them
Best way to ko is to agro a Titanoboa then take it to the Achatina it will then start attacking it and when the Achatina is unconscious shoot the snake with a ranged weapon and then you have a tameable Achatina.
Just letting ya now that this stupid snail will ask you to feed it veggie cakes while it has veggicakes in its inventory it broken and stupid
This app says torpor drain is low, but its actually pretty high!!
When knocked out they will lose health if there is no water near. Also they wont lose food.
Put one Cake in them and the health lose will stop after they ate it. If they dont eat it by them selfes, force feed the cake, so that they wont lose more health.
After the first eaten cake they start to starve.
Always try your best
Always add 3 extra cakes to the total dodex says in my exp i have always needed more than that it claims
if you want a lot of cementing paste but don't have veggie cakes, call up your argeventis and swing by the swamp. use the argy to pick up a wild achatina and carry it home. drop it into an enclosure and boom! free paste, no taming required. just make sure nothing gets in and kills it
It is a very strange snail because it thinks that there is no food but then eat the cake
The consumption timer on the veggie cake makes it think it doesn’t have food. I don’t recommend starve taming this thing especially since it starves way before it can be tamed.
This dino is best NOT to starve tame. The reason why is because of the veggie cake’s consumption timer. The 30 second timer causes the dino to think that there is no food inside it. This is why starve taming is actually a disadvantage when taming it.
My tape wont pick it up but app says it will.
Their torpor drain is actually very high!
1. Use ardgey to pick up in mouth in swamp
2. Bring back to base
3. Knock out in base
4. Feed sweet veggie cake (have in inventory as soon as knock out
5. Keep unconscious until tamed
Keep in mind the will still only eat veggie cake (1-2 a day so level up food) so have a good supply of them
You can find these snails on extinction ( cords for GPS are 58.2. 47.1 ) My YouTube is = uNoWill
While taming, there is period of 15 to 20 seconds after it eats a cake when the cake is in cooldown and is not recognized as food in the inventory. The taming percentage drops about 0.7% during this time, which is why the Dododex numbers are a little off.
his a snaile a really snaile that make bever paste
Do NOT bother trying to raise snail babies, it isn't worth it because:
1) raising babies eat more cake than what it takes to tame a high level wild one, and
2) there is currently a glitch where baby snails will randomly stop eating from troughs or maewing inventories and starve themselves to death
