You dont really need to have a lot of cakes their food doesn't go down as fast as other people said just make sure u have a least 5 cakes in fridge that eill be good for around 5 snails yeah all depends on lvl of snail try to tame the highest lvl u can and just let that cement paste flow :)

Don't even tame this creature. Make you a pin with about 10 wild ones in it and just collect the paste. Save on cake resources and you don't have to feed them.

Sometimes when you knock them out their health may come down just force feed a cake

Chase's tales!

As I was early in the game, one of the first creatures I saw by the Swamp was this Sluggish Creature. I had to crouch and use my new bola. I swung it at the Achatina and it did not look harmed. I then had to trap it, until a Sarco came up and ate me and my Slug. Later, I had found another one, this time with no Sarcos nearby, and found that they don't eat meat. I tried to tame it with Cakes, because after taming an Ovis I knew a few creatures ate them, and claimed it! Be wary, these creatures are some trouble to handle.

Don't bother taming it. Is much easier to just go fly to a beaver dam.

If not set to wandering they accrue organic polymer

Other than that Cementing Paste as its own feces, it really doesn't have a use. For taming, bring about 60 Veggie Cakes and it also can take Narcoberries. Get a ton of these, and check them every few minutes while they are wandering, and you won't even need to go out hunting for Cementing Paste.

Tapejara cannot pick it up on the Xbox One version. As of 1/3/2017

Torpor drops really quick but they are easy to knock out.

Bolas can be used against it

10 cakes to tame a level 15

Doesn't take much to knock out, one or two darts for a 25

Expensive be wary that this guys eats ALOT of cakes

They definitely eat something other than veggie cakes after taming. I know this because mine haven't starved. Trough has berries, raw meat, and spoiled meat in it so I'm not sure which is being eaten. Definitely worth the effort if you have trouble getting cp.

The ptera seems like it can no longer pick them up.

This is the fastes dino on ark it will easly outrun a galimimus beware it is so fast its faster the the car in )into the futer(

If you have your tribemate come with you on a quetzl you can use the grapplehook to grab hold of it and take it to a safe place. ;)

Put it in the transfer dino thing then take it out and you will instantly get 100 paste. Repeat for unlimited paste. Might get patched.

Pick up wild one, drop in base. Do not tame!! Will slither around and drop paste every once in a while.. attack it and it will stay in its shell, just punch it a few times to move it off its paste. There easy enough

Found my first one yesterday AT the redwood beaches. Built a small Base around my saptap before, with a bin for having the cakes near but preserved.
