Hey Break-it, just read Chapter 14 and it was great! Going through the Swamp is a dangerous endeavor for sure, but it’s the only way they’ll be able to return home. Also the Raptor attack was cool, especially the Alpha one which I noticed with the red cloud. I’m guessing that also means an Alpha Carno and Rex exist somewhere on the island as well. Bruce must be really strong though if he can just suplex and throw a raptor to the ground… then again he’s The Son of Rockwell. The Alpha Raptor is definitely the one that’s still alive. Anyway it was a nice chapter
Oh yeah and I also read Chapter 15. I suppose finding camp is tough when your leader is dead. Also interesting Ryker… I hope we get to learn more about Amanda tho and especially how she got with Larry. But mostly about her past in general. I’m surprised they managed to take down three Carnos… me and my fam could never. Also I loved the detail about the element calling out to Bruce since he’s son of rockwell.
Nazgul, the Prologue for Ascendant was really cool! (cool name btw). So we got six dudes, one seems to be a transhuman / Homo Deus, and a bunch of other quirky guys. I suppose the “Unreal” program is supposed to just be ARK Survival Evolved as a game, and unknowingly they accidentally allowed Rockwell become a part of the system. If ARK Survival Evolved is a simulation / program in this world though, then how could the ghost-like entity exist? Curious. I’m interested to see where this goes and I’ll definitely be around to read the first chapter.
PrimalApex, Chapter 17 of Ultimus was amazing! This certainly was the coolest Paul of all time, perhaps an Ultimus one. And there’s also someone named Jonathan that’s a part of their team? Interesting. I wonder why he’s not mentioned much in TOT. It was a great interaction between Paul and Andrew and it’s leading me to believe that, all in all, Paul is the leader of this group of survivors. Paul’s past also must be linked to horseback riding, perhaps. His mention of the watch also links his origins to the 21st century or around that time period, perhaps earlier. He also seems to be very observant. All in all he fits to be a good leader. I still wonder what Jonathan will be like, however, from what it sounds like, he doesn’t seem to get along well with Sylas.
Journey’s Chapter 16 and 17 were also very awesome! I guess we’re making it onto SE now. Chapter 16 was definitely better than the old draft, that’s for sure. Also my theory about Nightfall being brought along with Forest was correct, along with the fact they ended up on Scorched Earth. This means that they should eventually end up on Aberration, and perhaps then even the Dead Earth. From some sneak peeks on Fandom, the rest of the Five ended up on different ARKs entirely. From what it sounds like, Crimson ended up on SE as well, Spark ended up in some peaceful area (probably one of the custom maps), Nyx ended up on the Earth (bad luck), and Rust ended up somewhere in the Redwoods (however I believe it would make the most sense if he ended up in Valguero, due to his species originating from there). Because of this Forest and Nightfall should meet up with Crimson soon, and most likely the next antagonist of Journey.
The Pegomastax calling others thieves though is some sort of twisted irony though, it has to be…
And of course mandatory “Welcome to Scorched Earth” moment.
Prince Coal POV was also cool, I guess I should’ve expected him to react worryingly toward the disappearance of the Five. And the strange beast that ended up on Fjordur was Fenrirsulfr! I wasn’t expecting that. I thought it would have been another inter-ARK traveling creature, but I suppose not since he came from another dimension within Fjordur. Also looks like he’s the world-ruling type of guy okay. And WOW okay killing off Avalanche… got it (he was boutta die anyway its aight). And what could have saved Coal? Hmmm. There might be some other Fjordur creature out there that I do not know of that is capable of taking Fenirsulfr down.
I hope we get to learn more about Fenrirsulfr’s motives and why he is really doing this. Otherwise he feels like a Jethezzar 2.0 if you know what I mean.
I am proud to announce that my outline is finished, book names and all, and that the prologue will be being posted as soon as I write it, likely after this weekend as I will be going to serve at a women’s retreat with other high school students from my youth group. As it is a long series, I will be following what I think was Ben’s idea, to post ten chapters in an animal and then move to the next one (this only includes chapters and not the prologues or epilogues so those sections will have 11). I will be posting them alphabetically through the Aberration category, as I have always loved that map. It will skip Achatina and start in Angler and move on from there. I hope you all enjoy it and enjoy it as much as I do. I hope you enjoy the story: Ascendant

MGG, (and other writers who don’t use Fandom) I read 51, it was really good! I do have the same question as Apex on the timing of that dialogue, I’m guessing it was before the other conversation? And also sorry about not explaining much on the zombie arc. Everything we’ve planned so far is:
Jethezzar and Zeer find the pale green obelisk that sits in the jungle of lost island, they hope to find a way off of TOT, they end up getting there at the same time as a Yi Ling who is an adventurer or something, maybe he wants off of TOT too idk.. (he’ll be the second original TOT character, and the first original big bad, sorta.) anyway, they tamper with the obelisk and somehow the Yi gets infected with the omega infection. Zeer and Jethy escape and go hide or go for help at the shadowkeep, later the Omega city and Shadowkeep get attacked, and everyone is forced to scatter, then later on (after the characters are scattered around TOT, it’ll be a few chapters) some of the characters find another obelisk (which one is tbd) and activate “quarantine protocols” which sections off the TOT regions into three or four areas, this separates characters further and forces the heroes and villains to work together and find a cure, while dodging zombies. Oh and idk how but the Yi Ling patient zero can cross the forcefields, so it can attack everyone, it’s kinda like the horror movie monster boss zombie who can really shake up a chapter and infect characters left and right.
We also thought of splitting the writers into groups who oversee the happenings in these different areas, this is because we have ten people now and it’s confusing to control so many characters at once, but obviously there will be exceptions and you can change what team your on because we can do whatever we want 😎 we’ll just try to limit each chapter to one zone’s POV. And I know you don’t like Fandom but it’s totally chill in our Fandom, you can at least go to the site even if you don’t make an account to read about our TOT plans and see art. No pressure, it’s all good if you don’t want to, I’ve been scarred by a site as well.

Nazgûl, yeah I’m pretty sure there is a way to sign in without putting your email. It should give you multiple choices. Use your email, Apple, Facebook, or Twitch. I think those are the choices. I think I used Apple. You just put in your password I think, make a username, etc. I think. I have bad memory and probably don’t know how it exactly works. Just finished Chapter 50 for TOT. You guys are doing super good on it and I can’t wait for the next chapter. Also glad to not have to power read through the next chapter. 50 chapters is a lot for 3 days of reading, especially with something as confusing as TOT. I think most of it makes sense now…

Oh, one thing. Ben said TOT is comprised of all ark maps and Pandora, but there’s actually a few other things, so instead of the ember forest area of CI it’s a larger ember forest from my series with one chapter (Crowns and Talons) I did this because the base game forest is teeny tiny, plus Wyveria’s ember forest has cool castle ruins. Also there’s empty space for other locations, MGG’s ark is supposed to be there but he won’t get back to me about questions I had about it.. if anyone else has made up arks they can also be added. Even if you guys can’t make an account and chat on the Fandom you can still look at the messages, the TOT map is on there i HIGHLY suggest looking at that so there’s no issues with the topography of TOT I believe if you go to filters and choose TOT or art (idk which) it’s in there somewhere, also check out “for crossover counsel members only” in frequently used if you want to see more in depth convos about TOT (good luck scrolling though lol)

Nazgûl, to answer your question, 5 is the maximum number of characters to choose. But you can go with how many ever you feel between 1-5. I did four for the original pull.
As for the additional three characters. The only reason the extra three characters thing was added was that we had a couple of characters pull in more (villains) from our universes as there were only 2 villains against 20 or so heroes. I’m not sure if we’ll do another pull of three later, we’ll have to figure that out. But it might not happen unfortunately.

Sunnyfox, chapter 22 was awesome!!! Poor Cedric, has no idea what Rowan’s dealing with and thinks she’s losing it. Silly Fox is messing with her so much.
Interesting!! I was half expecting to Oliver to die there. And Rowan cut too deep into the skin? Likely story… I’m on to her. I really enjoyed it and I can’t wait for the next chapter!!!
MOON!! Pandora chapter eleven was amazing!!! So Pandora is drawing what she sees. Interesting!!! And it does seem that my suspicions were wrong about who was causing the stampedes. I’m very curious how this nightmare will be revealed in the flesh. Though, it might be Pandora herself, but I doubt that slightly.
I am very curious to where Pandora went off to? It’s curious, and her saying that Rainstone didn’t belong there is interesting. I loved this chapter so much!! I can’t wait for the next chapter!!!

Sylveevee, Chapter 3 of WOA was crazy! Im still wondering why only Drake and Syl can smell the smoke. Also crazy coincidence that they both met in their childhoods. Also looks like Syls anger issues that Draco talked about her having in SE are returning. Also Syl MIGHT have dragon wings? She might not even be human she might be a Dragonwing like in TPL. That also explains how she got the elemental ball power. And who is this man Syl is talking to? And the mysterious figure Sunhigh is talking to? So much Mystery..

Chapter of 11 of Pandora is being worked on slowly but surely, same as the next Clans Chapter. Soon enough. And the new one is in production.
