Haha, thx for the welcome back, PrimalApex. Sorry to everyone for disappearing like that some 2 years ago, hehe. Had some stuff going on. It’s definitely great to be back and see the community flourishing abundantly. I just love it. Gonna have to catch up on all the stories tho. I definitely gotta see what happens in the Obelisk… if I can remember where I left off that is…

lowk idk about the little rabbit boy anymore I know I just started it but it doesn’t correspond right toward on which part and side this is so uhm I might try and remaster it within a different dino because I feel like if I can’t get it right it ain’t gonna work..
deinonychus will be the dino ig but like it might be a different story so like I’d look out for it?? little rabbit boy was going to be based onto yaelokre, in which is a forest spirit and stuff. so ragh ig? ill be out w more chapters for new story soon

I Need Help!
Hello my name is OtherBenJ, but you can just call me OBJ for short. I revisited the Dododex Fanfiction section and "The Obelisk" really reinspired me to get back into this! I already know how to write stories, but I don't know how to get a large following like other stories on this site. Does anyone have any tips? I'd love to share my stories!
Diplolover, the wiki is a place where we have lists of stories and their authors of the Dex. It’s a good way to keep track of who writes what and which categories they’re publishing on.
It honestly depends on what you want out of a story. If you want shorter stories but more stories in the same universe, I’d suggest reading the Riddles of the Phoenix series by Sunnyfox or The Pandora Chronicles by Wyvernian or even Pandora by Moon or Journey (AU sequel to The Obelisk) I write. If you want longer stories, The Ark: Over Heaven by Ben is where I would go. I have though a list here of other stories too if you want to use it to pick some from.
The Obelisk by Moon: starts in Achatina and goes through Tameable and finishes in Plesiosaur.
Pandora by Moon: Starts in Amarga and goes through Breedables
Clans by Moon: Starts in Allo and goes through Rideables
The Ark Over Heaven by Ben: Starts in Wyvern, goes up through reverse aerial, goes down aquatic then back up through reverse terrestrial.
Heroes of Pandora and Protectors of Pandora by Wyvernian: starts in Allosaurus and goes down through the all category. Scrolling down will be needed for some

Wyvernian, I read chapter 36!!!
Oooh!!! Once he started asking what was that shrieking, I knew immediately. A human, and he’s talking to a Mesopithecus who’s with a Desmodus. This is going to be an interesting encounter!!! I really enjoyed it!!!! And I can’t wait for the next chapter!!!

Wyvernian i think Ultimus is set during the time of Extinction, as in the Prologue its stated the Titans are still around. And yea we do need to remember but i think the newest filter will make it easier to find the stories.
One thing ive noticed is that if there are downlikes on a story it may get filtered out of Newest, unless you use Popular or Top Rated. Ive seen this in Yi Ling with TOT. But since theres practically no stories in Yi Ling its really easy to find. Thats a reason why i chose Yi Ling. easy to moderate.
And its also at 8 likes nice. Expect it by 10 by today.
The unforgettable ride
Chapter one
A young wynern named sat waiting. Waiting for someone who would never come.
She always did that every evening.
Now that the she had seen the sun go behind the trees she flew down. The ground deep under the surface. She stood still and felt a tear leave her eye as she thought. Then she went deeper and deeper and deeper till she reached the crystal cave where she had her collection of rocks and runes and crystals. She sat down there all night and slept but not tonight. Tonight she flew up up up to the surface. The air was fresh she had never been up there ever before. “So this is the world.” she said.

Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen, this is your Ark Community News.
This last Friday was a doozy for Ark News so let us begin.
Asian Lung Dragons, BatWyverns, Gloons(?), Lost King and his Queen, Vampires, and the Three Nation War. No this isn’t a new song by White Stripes. Studio Wildcard released the Lost Colony Key-Art and Theme Track by Gareth Coker. Revealing many new things like a gargantuan oriental dragon tame, a strange blob creature with giant googly eyes, new styles of Tek Armor, the main antagonists of Lost Colony, and a new Bat-Wyvern. All with the release date delay of a day, that being now December 18th at 12:00 PM PST.
This Friday also revealed the name of the new blob like creature. Called the Gloon, it was given a small description by Wildcard. Saying that the Gloons strange light can be an interesting wildcard to the game. Being able to provoke some creatures, and soothe others. And also adding that the light of the Gloon will guide some Survivors to safety, while for others somewhere else entirely. Making appear that the Gloon can either be a good omen, or a bad omen. Just on the luck of the die. This creature will be fully revealed along with its abilities on day one of Ark: Lost Colony.
Finally in TLC news, the Therizinosaurus has been locked in at fourth for the TLC vote. The last vote will be revealed this Friday, with the expectations being that Megalosaurus will win the spot. These TLCs will be released throughout 2026 with many more hidden along the way (potentially).
