Sunny youre back! Well thats relieving to hear I thought something worrying happened to you. I hope you had an amazing vacation and that your busy days havent made you too stressed. Thanks so much for saying that about all of us, the past 3 months have felt like a year. Whew, its been a while. And to think Ive been here since October..
And youre right. ALL of us are going to finish our stories, we're gonna make it to finished story land. We have to, otherwise it would be for nothing. We need to!
Thats my promise. And Im not giving up on my story, no not yet. Ive already made plans for the next 30 chapters or so (up to Chapter 60), ill be making Chapter 31 as soon as i can.
We will finish our stories. And I will too. Because after all I have a promise to keep to her.
PS: Chapter 8 was so amazing Sunny! So Paul was a peacekeeper but he must have run away and settled down... but the shadowy figure kills him and his wife? Thats cruel. The wife Sarah did not even do anything! Im thinking this shadowy figure is out to hunt the rest of the peacekeepers, maybe even the pirates too or the Brits. Also that moment where he feels bad for the wife is kind of sad but its NOT COOL TO KILL INNOCENTS.
But the babys still alive, I bet this baby may play a role in the future.
Sometimes I wish I could just plug my phone into my brain and upload the entire story in a couple hours.. but then the government could go all order 66 on me so I’ll pass.. 😆 it’s so annoying to know what’s gonna happen wile nobody else nows and you can’t tell anyone!
Also I’m going to find time to read your stories. Idk where they start though, Ben yours is backwards through flyers right? And apexes is… ya idk..

Wyvernian, I would’ve missed it too if I didn’t see a couple Ark YouTubers talking about it(he posted it on twitter and I don’t have social media besides YouTube). But yeah like you said, way too many YouTubers are wondering if Ark is dying from the Steam numbers and not from the console players. I’m a console player and I’m so happy to finally use these mods like Ark Additions, Svartalfheim, DOX and so many more!!! It’s something I’ve always wanted to play on ASE!!!
Yeah, I was a bit disappointed when the Jumper didn’t win Aberration. It was really the first time I actually supported it for any of the maps. The other creature that I really wanted to see win was the flightless owl. But the Yi Qi or Ling was a top five contender for me so I was glad it got in Aberration. If the submitter of the Jumper does come back for the voting events, I really hopes he put it in the Valguero, Genesis part one or Fjordur/Vanaheim map submissions. Those I feel fit perfectly for the Jumper’s style.
I think they are remaking Scorched Earth to be bigger than its ASE counterpart or its original version for ASA, but I’m not entirely sure on that. For other for S.E Bosses besides an Overseer, I wouldn’t know what type they would add. A Hydra, some desert themed mythical creature or maybe a king or queen of something we already have. But I really hope they enlarged the map at least a little bit, Scorched always felt like one of the smallest maps to play on but always one of my favorites to play.
Ben, while I see your point. It technically isn’t true. ASE always had one or more Exclusive creatures that you could only get on one map and that map was pay to play. Extinction, Aberration and the Island are the only maps that don’t have exclusive creatures to their map anymore (not counting the tamable Titans on Extinction and technically normal Reapers are still exclusive to Aberration). Scorched Earth still has the Phoenix exclusive to it, Genesis part one and Genesis part two have a large number of Exclusive creatures only on their maps. And for the longest time Aberration was the only map you could get Rock Drakes and Reapers on. And most of the creatures exclusively on these maps are some the most OP creatures and were blocked through paywalls until ASE ended like the Stryder, Astrodelphis, Reaper, Phoenix, Bloodstalker and so on. So it really doesn’t make sense to me why everyone is complaining about the Oasisaur when nobody complained about the others. And I personally think this will be an exclusive creature to only servers with the pack added to the server or maybe it will be a paid mod and only on official modded servers or servers with official WC mods. But I don’t think it will be released to everyone and only letting some use them. It seems pointless to have unless it’s exclusive content. But again, that’s just my opinion.

I could care less if a mediocre map gets released a little later. No hate on the Center, its pretty nice but its aight compared to other custom maps. People speed through the game and complain that there isnt enough content?? The map for The Island had a lot more details compared to the one on ASE, of course itll take longer to make the map especially since SE is pretty barren. Dont even get me started on official servers, least fun gameplay goes there and i could care less if some pvp hooligans are complaining that the newest map hasnt come out for their desires to just annihilate the server or whatever
Im just more concerned about the Oaisisaur or whatever its called. if its released in a DLC that means its behind a paywall, and it seems pretty OP. "Its PVE" well that doesnt matter its still paying for an advantage. DLC dinos didnt suffer from this because they were eventually released on free custom maps, but from the looks this dino wont. They should just remove it from the pack and put it in with the others and to compensate either make the pack cheaper or put more skins in it.
Also I love how youtubers are complaining about how the Oaisisaur defeats the purpose of survival... "well it revives dinosaurs 🤓" yeah ok what about the Stryder which can harvest any resource in the game and serves as a machine that can craft anything in a Fabricator, Smithy, or Mortar? The whole point isnt even just survival its evolving and beating the system. Plus we dont know if theres any nerfs for the thing. For all we know theyre raid dinos that only spawn once or twice every map and take a super long time to tame and dont eat or something.
If you think about the Oaisisaur would make the perfect ENDGAME tame on a desert map. Like how the Gigantopithecus can only be tamed at LV 30, maybe this can only be tamed after defeating the Manticore. Itd be very difficult to tame and you can only have 2 per map at a time, and only 1 can be tamed.
Apex, ya when I saw that it was delayed I wasn’t that surprised, game devs are always super optimistic with release dates that’s why most only say something days before and dont give an actual date.. not WC…(although if they aren’t the ones making the center that’s not entirely their fault) if they can’t release scorched on time I’m gonna be very irritated especially since it was originally supposed to release at launch so they’ve gotta be close you’d think. I hope they do revamp it because (think I’ve said this before) they said they’re adding more caves and that means more artifacts right? So.. more.. bosses? Maybe?? Or just different artifacts for gamma beta and alpha mantacore 🤦🏻♂️ Hopefully not.. also again the oasisaur is gonna feel really cramped in the desert if the map is the same just with new caves the concept art showed a bunch of them in a massive desert so I’m hopeful for a larger scorched but we’ll see. It’s also concept art so that probably doesn’t mean much.

Apex, Oh ya I saw the Meavia creator say that they weren’t coming back because of real life stuff but it’s been months so she might be able to post again now when they finally restart the votes and I’m sure if not somebody else will just repost. The only reason we got the Yi ling instead of one of the spiders is anyone who wanted Meavia put her on top and the other one on the bottom and vise versa so basically the two spider communities screwed each other.. personally I would’ve rather had either spider than Yi but it looks like WC made it have cool abilities so it’s fine.
