once the two jerboas eyes had adjusted, the female jerboa, Nova, made her way to her nest, and curled up in it, the male, Destiny, sat in the corner, glaring at Nova, "Nova-"
"No Destiny, im going to sleep! i dont want to talk about it."
Destiny scoffed, curled up in his nest, closed his eyes, and succumbed to the nighttime visions, or as humans say, Dreams. Destiny woke at sunrise, cold rain pouring outside, glittering as the sun reflected on them, Destiny sniffed the air for any sign of predators, but the rain made it harder for him to scent anything but salty water and wet tree bark, Nova was still asleep when a loud Thump’ thundered outside the den and Nova was startled awake, “What was tha-” Nova started but Destiny cut her off with a sharp Shush, something was trying to dig into their den, and it was hungry.

Awww Mann.. it’s been like 2-3 years since that old corny name.. and my old corny story’s.. and horrible grammar! I totally ghosted Dododex back then.. 😅 funny to see you remember me though! I as just thinking about how I used to write and saw all my old tips and stuff, and remembering how you tipped me and my sister cheesecake! Man.,. It sure has been awhile! I’ve been loving writing to myself so I thought I might come and check if this community is still alive, happy to see it is and happy to redo and finish some of my old stories!

~{Dwellings}~ prologue
The night was dark, darker then the desert ever got,
The eerie silence was only broken every so often with a dire wolf howling, or terror birds hunting in the night.
In the darkness, two Jerboa walked along the riverbank in the redwoods, “Be very Quiet..” whispered one of the jerboa, “we’re almost to the den.” As they walked on the wet soil, a mound of mud came into view, it had a gaping hole, it looked like a whale made of mud, and the two jerboa crawled in, and we’re enveloped in darkness.
-Hope you Enjoyed! This is the prologue so chapter one will come soon! I know I said that I would probably not post this today but… I got an idea and had an Itch to do it before I forgot so.. anyway in chapter 1 it will make a lot more sense (especially why jerboa’s are in the redwoods) it will still be in this creature when it comes but till then, Enjoy your day/night! Nothing crazy Break-it. Someone just said that people should stop talking in story sections essentially, and while I don't really care when that happens the ironic part was they were a writer here too! So thats why I spoke on it

What’s wrong with writing stories? There’s still tons of space to tell people stuff that can actually help people with ark, yes, maybe stories don’t, but people actually like to read them. Especially when someone is bored, and wants to just hang out and talk or make something, AS IN STORIES. I don’t know who you are, but if you guys really did, you have most likely token the fun out of this place. Have a nice day.

Once my dad tamed two snails and set them to wander and they started breading like crazy till there were like a hundred of them so he started killing them because they were driving him crazy because they kept on getting stuck in big clumps and started breading like crazy lol he was killing some of them then he saw a snail with a bright green belly
ITS BEEN SIX YEARS. HOW ARE YOU PEOPLE STILL ACTIVE? is this your guys new headquarters?? last i checked fanfictioners used slate dye for a headquarters but thats no longer active so im curious where yall linger. i decided to check back up on the fanfictioners (i literally started this whole thing lol) after YEARS and the fact that u guys are still going strong astounds me. like i was a kid writing these and now i own a car. wowza. anyway, nice to see yall writing again, is there any other form of communication u guys use for this community?
