The cake diet is worth it for cementing paste

Which is better stat for these snails ? Health or food or both?

Starve taming doesn't work too well for 2 reasons

1. It's food bar may be small, so it may start losing health before it even gets close to tame time.

2. The cool down gap for eating cake, means that you need to factor in the eating time.

Put loads of stone in its inventory to let it wander without moving. If there is a bit space left for the the paste this works fine and you don’t need a cage.

I play ark mobile and it happen to me that when I kill these things and harvest them I sometimes get a very small amount of angler gel

I've got four of these at my base and I've got way too much cementing paste so take note four is enough, but you probably also heard that they produce organic polymer which acts the exact same way as regular polymer except for having a spoil timer which is it's downfall. These don't produce very large quantities of this material however if you have a lot of it and you don't want it to spoil, turns out you can add it to their inventories on top of what they naturally produce and they will triple it's time left as an item - which works perfectly alongside something like a kairuku farm.

Hope that helps some of you, this gives me so much more time to get more polymer now and it even makes converting it to regular polymer through demolishing structures inefficient :)

Great for passive cementing paste ( achatina paste) gets up to 100 paste overtime. Stick them in a cage and set to wandering so they do not escape. Has great weight as a organic polymer storage container as they increase the spoil timer on it.

Currently got a glitch on Mobile. It holds 100 cementing paste. If you take that, then quit the game completely and immediately come back in, it has respawned 100 Cementing Paste. I’ve just got 1000 in a couple minutes by doing that.

These creatures are great for cementing paste. Just tame some using veggie cakes, (that’s the only thing they eat) and KO is very easy. Put them in a small hut or something and set them to wander. You will get so much paste! If you kill them in the wild, you get angler gel. It’s much easier than diving for anglers or killing deathworms. Thx for reading!

The ultimate paste maker. Tame this for 20 organic polymer and 100 paste per hour. This creature is a strong bargaining chip for scorched tribes. All lv ups should be food! It had to have food to live and is isolated from war so no need.

While you are taming achatha it will tell you to put food the it's inventory but the taming effectiveness or taming bar won't go down

- What is this creature? -

The Achatina is a snail that lives in swampy areas. It's completely harmless and easy to kill. However, if you don't kill it with one hit, it will crawl into its shell and can no longer be attacked. The same applies to wild creatures: if they don't kill the Achatina with one hit, they won't be able to attack it anymore.

There are two types of Achatina:

Normal Achatina

Aberrant Achatina (found on the Aberration map)

- How to tame? -

The Achatina can only be tamed with sweet vegetable muffins. Achatina can be easily stunned with a small number of darts (depending on its level). She wakes up fairly quickly, so bring at least 50 narcotics. Place a couple of sweet vegetable muffins (depending on her level) in her inventory and wait. There's a bug where Achatina eats a muffin without increasing her taming bar, so bring some muffins with you. Once Achatina wakes up, she can be carried by any flying creature, so you can carry her without cryocaps.

- Useful Tips -

Achatina is your home "cement" maker. She produces Achatina paste, which works like regular cement. There's a bug where when you log out and back in, Achatina's entire inventory is filled with her paste. However, for Achatina to produce paste, she needs to be wandering. To prevent it from escaping, build a wooden cage and place the Achatina in it, enable wandering, and enjoy a large flow of "Cement." The downside of the Achatina is that even after taming, it only eats sweet vegetable cakes. So, unless you have a large supply of resources for making cakes, taming the Achatina is not recommended.

Achatina loot is standard:

Raw meat

Chitin.

However, in Ark Survival Mobile Edition, Achatina also dropped Anglerfish Gel.

You should use tranquillizer darts to knock it out for taming as it makes it easier

Knock them out and feed them sweet veggie cakes.

They produce CP.

A good way to also store them and save space is triangle foundations with railings stacked 2 high they never get out and access to multiple is a must!

I would suggest when you tame one, you should build a cage out of metal or wooden railings and make a way for you to enter then set them all on wonder come back later and get all that Achatina paste

For anyone wondering like I was on why it’s not eating the berries you put in it’s inventory after it’s been tamed is because yes they do still need the vegetable cake. As soon as I put the cake in its inventory it started eating it.
