The achatina will only bug when it's says there's no food if your in the inventory if you go out of the inventory soon it will eat again but this won't always happen because remember it's just a bug

What it is: prehistoric snail

The achitina is a small prehistoric snail that can be found anywhere but the Arctic probably bcs it would freeze to death. These snails are quite stupid and are hunted by everything. The only one real reason to tame this animal is that the slime it produces is very similar to cementing paste and can be used in different craftables. The only things this creature will take to like is vegetable cake which is a bullcrap to make. These creatures are actually kind of cute....right...? -Yours truly, The Factor tractor

If you use a flyer and pick it up while it is untamed you can put it in a cage and get paste without taming.

U should stay away from dinos that are carnivores

If you managed to tame one and, you play on ark mobile you can set it to wander. leave the game and come back you will get infinite cementing paste and organic polymers.

All tips in one:

Only level food and weight, as they only eat sweet cakes even after taming and you would want to save those cakes. Weight for the organic polymer and paste. After producing 100 paste in their inventory, they will start producing organic polymer. Do not take the paste. Transfer the polymer to a different creature. For taming, pick it up with a pteranodon, put it somewhere safe, and use tranq darts. Do not use tranq arrows as they may one hit the achatina due to the low health. If you want, use a spyglass to measure torpor and calculate how many darts or arrows or stone you need. Get multiplr achatinas.

If you want quick cp just raid a giant dam mobile players. Dam it people. Stop wasting cake on snails! It’s so much easier and quicker to just raid dams. Literally got 1000 cp in 20 min.

Some people think these guys are useless, but unless you want to be making cementing paste all the time, you NEED to tame one

You can find this in the ocean (in deep ereas).

They don't seem to eat food when raising them if you log off. Have had two starve to death with plenty of sweet veggie cakes on them. One got to be an adolescent, the first one was only a baby though.

Don't worry about level when you're looking for them. Get any level, even a lvl 25 I got has 156 weight. Considering achatina paste weighs just 0.01. That's 16,500 paste in a level 25. But it will never reach that as you get like 60 paste per hour. Set them to wander and feed veggie cakes, once in a while. Veggies cakes last 24 hours+ in real time. So spoil timer is massive, make a cage and put cakes in a feeding trough as that has same spoil timer as the animals inventory. My suggestion tame about 10-20. That way you get anywhere from 600 paste to 1200 paste every hour, and suitably all snails below level 30 but since they're hard to find, swoop any and all snails. On an unrelated note if you want cementing paste and you're not high level enough for veggie cake production, go the south cave(hunter) with a wolf, saber with at least 1500hp. Run around the cave and you will get 10000 chitin. Hope this helps!
