It is very worth it for the cp and I would recommend taming a few of them at once.

If you put it in a cage and don’t tame it, make sure it’s near water!

Also it doesn’t only eat cake in the wild, It just only eats it after you tame it because you tamed it with cake and it’s favorite food is cake

Your best bet of finding them is in Athens redwoods. When you do you, if you play in PvE, you can’t shoot it with a grapple and a crossbow. Al long as you don’t release it, you can fly back to your base with a wild achatina flying behind you - only to get shot down by your turrets.

makes tons of achatina paste, which is used as cementing paste, which is incredibly useful! the only issue is that it only eats veggie cakes after tamed. my advice is get a refrigerator, make a few sweet veggie cakes to have on hand, and store them in the refrigerator until the lil guys get hungry, but don't starve them of course. good luck💕🐌

Put a wild achitina in ur base ill poop out cement slower and no organicpolymer but you dont have to grind for those veggies cake

To get cementing paste from it without having to find it around your base, just trap it behind your smithy.

There is a “thing” on mobile solo where you leave the game and enter again, the Achatina will automatically have produced 100 organic Polymer. That’s 100 how’s of waiting turned to 10 seconds of leaving and rejoining. Everyone should take advantage of this “thing”

They can wear hats on mobile,i usually give them miner hats so they also look like wanking flashlights

Carry one on a argy while hunting kairuku, it’ll help make the organic poly last longer :)

With the argy now being able to carry ankles and reduced weight on obsidian this guys’ politer keeping isn’t that needed just boost food on them

Mid game once you get sap collectors this and a frog will get you all the cementing paste you need for making polymer get about three and you can pump ou three hundred in less than an hour on top of what you can make

U will need an extra veggie cake as due to the veggie cake having a 30 second timer on it one is consumed it does not class as the food being in the inventory during the cool down period resulting in the taming effectiveness dropping during this time.

The 30 second cool down for eating a veggie cake counts as there being no food in its inventory and so the taming percentage goes down that's why dododex is normally off by one.

The reason for extra cakes is the 30 second timer after it eats a cake. While the 30 second timer is ticking it says put food in inventory to tame and you lose some taming percentage

I have some untamed ones trapped and i can just take their paste. You dont have to tame them, just trap them like me

Easy end game farming of these:

Extinction has the cryoball, cryofridge and Dino leash engrams... learn these.

Make and charge cryoballs.

Make cakes.

Make Dino leash.

Go hunting for the snails.

Tame them then cryo them.

Each cryoball holds one animal “frozen” until thrown back out (like a pokeball).

Continue until all your balls are filled.

Place snails, place Dino leash (they will have a “lock” above their heads.

Set them to roam and they stay inside the leash radius.

Feed cakes as normal when hungry. :-)

When tamed, they will passively make cementing paste and organic polymer. Don’t level it up if you don’t have a lot of cakes.
