Tips & Strategies

What are tips for tangerine coloring? Tips and strategies for tangerine coloring in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
I smell an introduction to Rage, and I'm excited.
And yes, Cliff 100% sounds psychotic. His need for succes drove him to kill.
I kind of want to write a story with all of the dead psychopaths gathered together trying to tear the living world apart to spite the ancestors. Cliff, Canary, and Snowblind all set on killing wolves with the Gift, maybe?
Dude...
~CL1 may be schemeing ...
"Germ of a freak."
I gotta hand it to ya, you're at least getting creative. I mean, the insults don't really make sense, but A for effort :D
And as far as autocorrect, it corrects to the word closest to what you're spelling. If you actually typed in the word "write" it wouldn't have to correct, meaning you still spelled it wrong, so wrong that it corrected to spellings like "right" and "wright."
Psst. You can also delete the autocorrected words and fix them back ;)
~CL1, your friendly neighborhood germ of a freak :D
Yes, I CAN turn into bacteria! You’re right!! I am a shapeshifter, after all. I’m glad that you’re so much of a fan of me to know that! :)
…Sibling rivalry to the extreme. In the words of one of my friends: “Cliff’s a psychopath”

Agh, sibling rivalry to the extreme. And Bone was a runt! Never would have guessed! Excited to see more!

Five
Bone didn’t wake up one morning with the rest of his siblings. He had stayed unconscious, his body stiff with barely any motion from breathing. Cliff would have been happy, had his mother not been in such great distress. She refused to move from his side, shaking him with her paws and crying out his name, hoping that he would wake and be alright.
And when he finally did wake, Cliff didn’t see him the rest of the day. He stayed huddled in their father the alpha’s den with their mother, supposedly explaining the dream that he had witnessed. Cliff didn’t care if Bone stayed in there forever, except for the fact that their parents’ attention was entirely on him. Him, the nobody who was nothing special.
Their attention on Bone made him seethe.
Cliff refused to process his father’s words for several days after they had spoken. Bone has powers. Real, actual, ancestor-given powers. BONE, of all wolves, was able to see visions of things to come and put himself in the dreams of others. He just… didn’t know how, yet.
“If I had his powers, I’d be able to figure them out immediately,” Vulture grumbled on one rainy afternoon, as the dark clouds overhead cried down on them with fat droplets.
“Oh, I bet,” Tree Frog muttered back. Whether it was a jab at Bone or Vulture or both, Cliff wasn’t sure. And, if he was being honest, he didn’t really care. Bone had begun to ride up the rankings ever since the discovery of his power, suddenly appreciated for being special and for being extraordinary. All of the attention was on Bone the Brat, Bone the Worthless. And it made Cliff furious.
He decided one thing, that night, as he lay on his back, belly up, watching the stars that represented their ancestors.
Bone had to die.

Four
Cliff and his siblings were almost fully grown at just under a year old. He stayed the biggest and the brawniest, but Fern was close in second, her muscles powerful beneath her elegant pelt. Tree Frog was moderate, her body shape very close to that of their uncle Sap’s. Vulture stayed slim, but what he missed out on with muscle he made up for in wit and speed. He was the fastest wolf that Cliff knew, and in almost every conversation he had a backlashing tongue that could inflict wounds as severe as bite marks.
Bone was finally growing into his body, his fur growing less loose and more shaped to his body. He was a handsome young wolf, Cliff would give him that: but as was Vulture. It was nothing special. Those eyes were the only thing that set Bone apart, and what did a pair of eyes matter if he didn’t use them for spotting prey?
All that his littlest brother did was lecture them about rules from the ancestors and other riffraff, as Tree Frog had called it. He didn’t take time to practice his hunting or fighting, and he was in no way searching for a mate. There were few other wolves of their pack who weren’t their direct family, only a couple of former dispersers, but he didn’t pay any attention to them, always distracted with his head in the clouds.
It was excessive.
It was annoying.
Part of Cliff hoped that, since Bone knew barely any battle tactics, that he would stumble upon a bear or cougar. Part of Cliff hoped that he would fall asleep and never wake up, and finally go and join the ancestors that he adored so greatly.
Those parts of Cliff weren’t as happy as he’d thought when that almost happened.

Okay then, I’m leaving, byeeee

Helicopters are on the way :)

Mmmmm, sociopath. I love those. They’re my very most favorite.
…maybe she can be selfishly trying to manipulate Rage into giving her control of the Opposite or something, and since he isn’t an idiot, he can confront her about it and kill her. I don’t know, sounds like something that could happen…
Well, I appreciate you bringing new, exotic seeds to my garden. It doubled in beauty with your green thumb’s help.
You never knew that it was limericist? I was always just kind of sitting there watching you spell it that way… thought it was intentional, lol.

Maybe you should calm down Wolfie

Eight (the last one)
Cliff was white from age with a limp in his hind leg. He padded slowly through the forest that he had grown up in, looking around quietly as he went for an evening walk.
He had found a mate after becoming alpha, a light brown wolf named Poppy. She had given birth to two rounds of his pups, ten in all; six the first time, four the second.
Tree Frog and Fern had died due to a grizzly bear a few years ago, leaving only Vulture left alive out of his siblings. He had gone blind recently and retired from hunting of any kind, as well as stepping down from his role as beta. He had to admit, it was unusual, not having Vulture there to help with choices for the pack.
He followed a familiar trail that led to a low cliff surrounded by ferns. As he sat down on the smooth rock ledge, he heard rustling behind him. Turning his head, his breath caught in his throat as he saw what he had thought was impossible.
Bone stood in front of him. He wasn’t an astral figure like visitors from the Forever Grounds; his eyes and fur were worn from age, pupils dull from life. His fur hadn’t grayed with age, and his throat gaped open in the same way that it had when Cliff ripped it from him. As he stepped closer, Cliff saw that his forelegs were ripped up, skin and fur missing to reveal the eerie whiteness of his bones underneath, as was the case with his lower jaw. Now his name truly was fitting.
“H-how-?” he began, but Bone let out a snarl that silenced him. “The ancestors decided that I should be resurrected,” he growled. His voice was the same as before, slightly rough but just like Cliff remembered it. How he was speaking with his throat gaping wide open, didn’t know. “Decided that, in case there were more born with powers like mine, I could be there to help train them instead of leaving them to figure it out alone like I had to.”
He didn’t let Cliff say anything before continuing. “Why did you kill me?” he asked, voice vibrating with emotion. Cliff wasn’t sure what to say. “Out of jealousy? You couldn’t let me be high in the rankings?”
“You… I… you were going to take the role as alpha,” Cliff said finally, studying his brother’s face. It held nothing but sadness and hurt.
“No, I wasn’t,” he said, voice shaking. “I never wanted to be high in the rankings. I didn’t want to be the center of attention. I never asked for celestial powers beyond comprehension that I have to live with for the rest of my life. I would’ve been just as happy as the omega, low in the ranks, at the very bottom, if it meant that you payed any attention to me. I didn’t want to be the alpha, I didn’t want to be the best. What I wanted was my BROTHER. I would have stood at your side and let you rule, used my powers to help you serve best as I could.
“When I got powers, of course I was terrified and excited at the same time. But I thought… well, I HOPED, that maybe because I got higher in the ranks that you would notice me. I was pleading to the ancestors that you would even look my way. More than anything, I just wanted you here. I wanted my brother, my real brother. I NEEDED MY BROTHER.”
Suddenly he lashed out, driving Cliff into the ground and holding him there, his head hanging over the edge of the low ledge. He twisted around to look up at Bone, who now stood over him, claws digging into his shoulders. “But you aren’t my brother. You aren’t. Brothers would never do that. So I want you to remember something when you arrive in the Forever Grounds like I did the day that you killed me. I want you to remember that it wasn’t your brother who killed you.”
Bone lowered his head and ripped out Cliff’s throat in one swift movement, the same way that Cliff had done it years ago. “It was rage itself.”

Seven
Cliff stayed far behind Bone, placing his paws down silently as he followed his brother. Bone walked for a short while, finally coming to a halt as he reached the creek, sitting down on the pebbly shore and staring at his reflection. Everything about his posture said that something was wrong, but Cliff didn’t care.
He snuck up until he was only a few feet away from his little brother, crouching just beyond the pebbly shore. His breaths came slow as he calmed his racing heart. Was he really about to murder his own brother?
Yes, he told himself, blinded to the wickedness of his actions by anger. He took one last deep breath, and lunged right as Bone glanced over his shoulder.
He tackled his brother to the ground, embedding his teeth deep into his throat. Bone’s mouth opened to speak, to scream, to fight back, but nothing came as he fall hard on his back, small stones digging into his shoulders. Cliff planted a paw on his snout, driving his head into the ground and placing the other paw on his chest, hunching over him as he bit deeper, cutting into his windpipe.
Cliff gave a sharp tug, ripping his throat open and spitting out the large scrap of flesh and skin and fur that came with. Bone stared up at him, but not in rage or the desire to lash back. His expression only held sadness.
Sadness for what? Was he sad that his perfect life was ending already? That he didn’t get the chance to steal the alpha role right from under Cliff’s nose?
As blood spilled from his throat and drained the last of his life from him, Bone’s mouth tilted into a frown, and a tear traced a glimmering stripe down his face as it dripped onto the rocks below.
Cliff backed away, looking around to ensure that no other wolves were around, before turning and leaving his brother’s corpse to rot.

If Bone loved the ancestors and the Forever Grounds so much, he could go join them. If he wanted to avoid conflict, then he could die quicker.
Cliff watched him as he sat silently at the edge of camp, his eyes unfocused as he attempted to learn how to better use his powers. He could walk over and rip his throat out now; it would only take a few moments. But the only issue was that their aunt Lark was in the camp. The rest of the pack was out hunting, but he, Bone, and Lark remained, and Cliff didn’t want to have to kill her, as well.
I’ll have to do it when we’re the only ones around, he decided, narrowing his eyes slightly. Bone snapped out of his trance, glancing up and happening to meet Cliff’s eyes. He flashed a small, nervous smile, and Cliff forced himself to return it, seething on the inside.
It’s all perfect, isn’t it? he thought venomously, flexing his claws into the dirt. You have such a perfect life, with all of the attention. What, are you going to challenge Father for the role of alpha, next? Take my dreams away from me?
He ripped up grass, tossing it to the side and cutting deep gouges into the earth the longer that he watched Bone. Finally his brother stood, turning and padding away into the forest. Cliff’s heart began to race and he looked over at Lark. She was ducking inside the pups’ sleeping area to clean it, or possibly even take a nap. Now was his chance.
Slowly rising, Cliff followed Bone into the woods.

Hey Guys MrGhostGamer here! I love Dododex. And I think most of you guys do too!(In my vocabulary guys means both boys and girls!) but I have seen some posts about people wanting too write story’s that are rated M! (Maturity) Which I don’t think is appropriate for some people on Dododex! Most of the people on Dododex are kids or tweens or teens!! Maturity is not appropriate for kids under twenty! (Younger kids I’m not saying what maturity is, I don’t think you should know till ur older!) Some states of maturity are SUPER inappropriate! So plz don’t ruin Dododex for kids! Lesson: DO NOT WRITE STORIES RATED M! Pls celebrate responsibly this season!
Yours Truly,
-MrGhostGamer2.0-
I'm the variant of Loki that gave up the quest for glorious purpose to pursue her dreams of becoming a poet. Call me Limerickist Loki lol.
(You idiot. It's Limericist.)
What? No its not.
(Google it.)
...
I've been saying Limerickist this whole time...
(Yes, and I've been rolling in my metaphorical grave.)
And please Pres, the credit is still due to you for creating this wonderful universe. I simply planted a few seeds in a beautiful flower garden. You have my permission to do whatever you'd like with any of my characters, especially since they wouldn't exist if not for you.
And just a little insight on Canary: she's an extreme sociopath (the few emotions she does have are exclusively self-centered, unless she's faking, which she probably would to get her way.)
~C- I mean, Limericist Loki
This kid is getting absolutely destroyed
(Insert wheeze emoji here)
I’m liking the story so far President Loki!
