Viking Bay on Ragnarok is home to Eurypterid (lobsters). Kill them for oil, black pearl and a little bit of chitin. I get about 40 oil and 20 black pearl after harvesting 4 lobsters with my megalodon. Just watch out for sharks and stingrays.

Just give the dung beetle some poop and u will have oil

On aberration I suggest taking alot of female tek parasaurs and 2 tek male parasaurs and just hatch and farm the tek babies :)

Ways to get oil early-game:

1. If you spawn on or travel to a snowy biome (if you are ballsy enough) this is an assumption, but there should be rocks that have oil

2. *basilosaurus noises* for some reason i never see anyone get basilos in their ARK playthroughs but they are just americas way to get infinite oil (they produce it passively when tamed) to tame one, just go to the basilosaurus tips tab, its that easy.

3. Oil chunks, usuaally found around E V E R Y W H E R E in the sea and they look like little black chunks with a DNA trail of oil slowly bubbling up, so grab an Itchy, a good damage pick, and start diggin

There are many ways to obtain oil. My personal favorite is, to run around and tame a few Tek creatures. Kill their babies or the wild ones and harvest them with a chainsaw, if you don’t have one use a hatchet. If you need oil over a long timespan just tame a few Tek creatures an let them breed. Kill their babies and youll get a lot of oil and some great side products like meta scrap, wich is a great equivalent to metal. If you don’t have the time or nerves to do that you can just go to the ice biome and destroy the big black rocks (our intended) and youll get a lot of oil in a short time (the only problem is the transportation of yourself and the oil from the ice biome to your base)

Oil is mostly found in the ice biome and sometimes underwater, Also this is the US i would like to know where u live

If you are playing on Val then you can go to the snowy section and find and kill rock elementals they give lots of oil upon dying

Just go into deep of the ocean you will see a oil thats look like a big jelly fish

You can get oil and electronic s and scrap metal and that vlue dusg from defense units too but less than an enforcer

If you are trying to ger oil just go to 31.6 33.0 cave entrance you will find plenty

There are oil rocks at the bottom of the ocean in Rag. Just make sure to watch out to sharks. Also, if you can find an oil rig in a drop, much easier harvesting.

Just go to the south east side of the island with ur itchy. It’s rich in oil. It’s also good to build a base at.

If you're on a non-story map or Scorched Earth (I think), you can use the oil pump in oil veins to harvest thousands of oil per hour.

On Abberation, your best bet is killing Tek Dinos until you feel comfortable getting a dung beetle or going to the surface

America is going to start making a leech farm…

Until getting an ankle, u could try farming oil with a pick or a raptor from triobites

If you have a high level anky, they can swim really fast, quickly mine oil nodes and get back to your base, only works near shores with shallow oil nodes
