Here is an overview of the achatina (aka snail.)

You can tame a snail exclusively with sweet vegetable cakes. When tamed they also only consume sweet vegetable cake. They can take anywhere from 1-8 cakes to tame. (Levels 1-150) They always tame with max bonus levels. Never hit them in the shell because they take much less torpor damage. Try and aim for their head. These guys drop chitin and raw meat. (They can also drop angler gel in old mobile.) They also defecate achatina paste. Achatina paste is used as a substitute for cementing paste. When tamed, they will passively produce one organic polymer in their inventory every 60 minutes and its spoil timer will be 3x slower along with corrupted nodule. It has a 90% weight reduction for achatina paste, organic polymer, and corrupted nodule. They produce achatina paste in their inventory every minute. (Everything they produce caps at 100) They can wear hats. They can be picked up by everything but the tapejara and tropeognathus. That is everything I know! STOP saying that it drops angler gel, this is only true on mobile. spread the word!

Easy way to keep them in place, just fill their inventory with stone. Encumbered, they will not move, even on wander. Then for feeding, put cake in a tough. They will stay in place and alive! Making you resources the whole time... Up to the top for knowledge!

I don't understand if it only eats cake then how does it survive in the wild? For every good ded does it get cake? These are questions that will never be answered

2/10 a bit easy cause it does not attack back but it can go in it's shell wich is the hard part

After tame, collects up to 100 paste, then organic poly. Leave on wander and come back. ONLY eats veggie cakes even after tame.

TIPP: Achatinas can produce organic Polymer. You can just craft a fridge with the organic Polymer and destroy it. Every time you destroy a fridge you get normal Polymer back. That means you can transform organic Polymer to normal Polymer. I found it out yesterday by myself.

(It also works with organic Oil)

Just tame 5 or 10 of these and put inside them a lot of Stone or something heavy so they cannot move when you put them into patrol. With that, they passively generated 100 achatina paste every hour. When you don't take those achatina paste, they start to generate organic Polymer. Just make sure those snaila cannot move and you have a nice auto-paste farming.

When tamed, the Achatina can produce Achatina paste, an alternative to cementing paste, passively when on wandering. You could also collect it when they are moving, their paste/slime will be on the ground shaped in a similar feces ball.

They can wear hats!!!
