These things will always have carnos with them. Either kill the carnos and run to get rid of the Yu agro or trap all in a large pen and kill the carnos at leisure. Yus are very fast though.

JSYK, the no damage to large creatures bug was supposedly fixed, so try taking on a brontosaurus or something just to be safe, and if it can be killed, then go kill some gigas.

Kill it with gigs or rex to get bulk amount of pelt

Quetz platform with s+ tranq turret on top with shocking tranq dart perch on edge of a cliff and let the turret do the work kill all dire wolves in area and once tamed get it on platform and fly away with it

These dinos will scare away small dinos like a ptera so be careful

Use a Griffin and Crossbow to lure it to a taming pen. Also grabbing whatever small creature it's trying to eat after hitting it will really piss it off to chase you. Griffins also have perk of not getting feared by it's roar.

Use dazzerdwicked's mums mutton to take in minutes

Use a wyvern to kill its carnos and kite it to a taming pen.

Tame my yutyrannus with my allo that lvl 245 kill the three Carnos and ran up the cliff and started shooting it and it took 10 darts with my master craft rifle and and 20 tranqs with my journeyman crossbow it took 29 Cook lamp chop . It was a lvl 20 while I tame it lol he all black and a white line running down it back

get some ankies to follow this beast and you should be able to scare away any resistance when going on a metal run

Took twice the said amount of raw mutton to tame. Thank God a wild ovis was wondering outside my taming pen.

Dont ride mount its attack "fear roar" will build your dino and cant control it this big boi spawns carno minions.......run

I found one guarding a Rex.I got ready to get it (I was on a cliff and it wasn’t)and all of a sudden it disappeared.I am still glad it did because I was able to get the Rex safely.Still haven’t seen it.
