Very useful Dino for most boss fights has a roar ability and is a great Dino because of it. The roar has a 25% damage boost and resistance to your dinos, also makes small dinos run away. Hope this helped you realize you need one for boss fights.

To tame without a pen use a dino that has to stop moving to attack (e.g a sarco or trike) and constantly attack when fear roared so your dino doesn't go anywhere. You will also need a lot of health to facetank the yuty and snipe the carnos before taming because they do bleed like a giga.

Don’t listen to the person talking about using these for an egg farm. Yes they make extraordinary kibble, but raising these things from babies is pure hell. Takes 7 days on 1X 19 hours of which are baby stage and they eat more than gigas. Combined with spoil timers these things are torture to raise. unless you just enjoy suffering do yourself a favor jgoto Valguero and get a few dein eggs and use those for extraordinary kibble instead. Hardest part of drinks is the high temp to hatch but they are relatively easy to raise after than and grow up quickly.

If you roar to carnos you can have them for your one for half a hour. You can only take 3 if you do a forth it wont work with that one but the other 3 wil work. In the wild this also happens so you need to kill the carnos first. It spawns in the snow biome

A lvl 140 needs to drop about 2k food for a mutton starve tame. About 2 hrs on official

Took 9 raw prime and about 15:30, for a 125 on a 10x taming server. It handles a lot like the tickle chicken, and has the kind of stare that pierces through your soul.

U can sort of counter another yuty. Just right click roar at it 3 times. Be fast. It's fear counter drops kinda fast. The fear mechanic doesn't work on rexes so be careful. Works on most other smaller Dino's in ice. Haven't tried on allos yet. It's melee is kind of sad so avoid fighting packs. In this case. wolves.goodluck. Also if u see in wild. Head to water. Super slow. Also has trouble getting back on land from most steep areas

This tip is easiest on multiplayer but also works on singleplayer.

Step 1: get bola and tranq arrows or darts (depends on your level) find a direwolf with about 1k hp. Bola and tame. The wolf doesn’t need a saddle to ride.

Step 2: ride the wolf and make an argie aggro you shoot the argie while riding the wolf (the wolf works like a shield and it is an easy tame) tranq the argie until it’s knocked out and tame make a saddle for your argie.

Step 3: make some grappling hooks (on singleplayer you will need many grappling hooks and make sure the crossbow has enough durability) find yuty grapple the argie and make a friend ride it (on singleplayer you will need to ride it yourself and that’s the reason you will need many grappling hooks) fly above it while grappling and tranq

it down feed some prime meat and BOOM you have your own yuty

If you want a low level you can also just shoot it while running

If u need one it’s ez. How do u tame it? Just make a trap, use ur tuso to pick it up and have a friend KO it while the tuso is holding it. Done. Just make sure not to kill it.
