I was living in the winter biome just minding my own business looking for a deer to tame when all the sudden I look behind me and there is this yuti behind me with a 5 carno pack so I ran for a literal mile to get back home and the thing was still on me so I grabbed a bow got up a cliff and gave him and his carno friends a couple of arrows

These things are really op wild and tamed Why is it that a fluffy chicken scares a rock drake but a reaper queen doesn't scare it? Pls tell me. They give enemy dinos a huge debuff and alley dinos a huge buff. X-yutys are impossible to kill I mean my lvl 150 magmasaur ends up with about 15% of its health after encountering ahigh level one. ^ ^ ^ if you thing there debuff should be nerfed and they should only be able to scare medium or smaller sized herbivores and small carnivores like raptors and dilos. P.s these are one of they like 3 creatures in ark that are op when wild.

I found one guarding a Rex.I got ready to get it (I was on a cliff and it wasn’t)and all of a sudden it disappeared.I am still glad it did because I was able to get the Rex safely.Still haven’t seen it.

It threw away meat and only ate berries. I feel if it kills anything it see’s it would eat meat don’t you.

Equally good for deinonychus nest raiding as the pachyrhinosaurus but harder to tame.

Enable turret mode and set them to aggresive and they will scare away almost anything that comes to your base just watch out for alphas and make sure your yuty has enough health to facetank literally anything and enough stamina to scare it away.

To get the extraordinary kibble you will want these. Tame two rubbish ones and then breed them until you have five or six females and one male. Make sure they are all off mating at this point. Then you let them poop out a bunch of eggs. Voila, you can now have the best kibble.

In terms of taming method build a 4x4 foundation section with two wall high doorways around it. Then build a ramp up one side. Lead the Yuti in NOT USING A MOUNT. Then go around and kill all the carnos around it. Dart it and then you have a Yuti.

Bring a strong Rex to tame it. They will focus the Rex and they won't roar.

If you’re taking it into boss fights there is no need to level it into anything but health. Just ride it and soak the damage.

Where do I even find these on extinction because I’ve gone to snow and they rarely spawn it’s a bit fustrating honestly
