Chapter twenty five: Three disguises. By MrGhostGamer
“Probably for the best, he most likely would have given me a disease.” Darkhide said. “A DISEASE!!???” Steve yelped. Yang flinched. “No need to be offended, Steve.” Yang said. “I’m not offended… I’m disappointed! How could you not tell that I have had every single disease that has ever existed! Pneumonia, Covid-19, The flu, Mad Cow disease, Rabies, Malaria, Chicken Pox, I COULD GO ON AND ON!!!” Steve screamed. The cave next to them rumbled. “Not so loud!” Emerald whispered. Darkhide gagged. Buddy turned to look at the strange trees around them. He spotted something in the forest. “Emerald? I see something.” Buddy said. Emerald walked up to Buddy and looked in the direction where Buddy was looking. A large structure sat in the forest. Emerald squinted. “It can’t be….” Emerald muttered. “What is it?” Buddy asked. “It’s… Fort Olympia!” Emerald shouted. The groups ran through the Forest towards it. Emerald skidded to a stop in front of it. She looked confused. It wasn’t a fort. It was a cardboard drawing of the fort. An evil cackle came from behind the fort. “I knew that would fool you!” A dark voice said. The drawing fell to the side to reveal… The dragon. “It can’t be! You were defeated!!” Emerald cried. “Wait a second!!” Emerald said as she grabbed the dragon and picked him up with ease. It was another drawing. Behind it was a small grey penguin. It had a dark cloak on. Emerald gasped sarcastically. “You found me out! I have turned evil! Unfortunately I think this is my end! Go ahead and eat me!” Ping cried without moving. Emerald grabbed ping and threw him. Behind him stood Steve doing a dramatic pose. Steve opened one eye and gasped. “What are you doing Steve? Also how did you know about The fortress, the dragon and ping?” Emerald asked. “Lucky guess… I guess….” Steve replied smugly. Emerald scoffed. “We better keep moving!”
The Omega Timeline Chapter 24 Part Two: Talk, Work and Theories
“Erica, are you okay? Can you see my hand, how many-” “Andrew, I’m fine. But I really need to talk to you alone, Right Now.” Erica said cutting Andrew off. Andrew looked at Ruby and then looked at the others. The others looked concerned about what was happening. He looked back at the Ruby and smiled.
“Ruby, you could go help the others look for possible components and any resources you need to make any of the ones your making. And just tell the others if they ask that Erica was just overworking. We’ll call you back over when Erica’s feeling better.” Andrew said, “I’m fine Andrew-” “You’re not fine Erica, you need to sit down until I think you’re okay.” Andrew said and he turned back to Ruby.
“Just let us talk for a moment about this and we’ll call you back.” Andrew said kindly and Ruby nodded, she looked a bit overwhelmed about what happened and without saying a word walked over to the others.
“Now what was so important about talking to me alone. And stay seated please.” Andrew said,
“Because I know something, about this place. It’s not what I thought it was.” Erica said,
“And why couldn’t you just tell me this before with Ruby here?” Andrew asked,
“Because I am not sure about this, but I think we aren’t in our universe. None of us our in our universes.” Erica said.
“What do you mean our universes?” Andrew asked,
“You had to do some sort of physics for engineering, you do the math. If things don’t line up, like talking animals that shouldn’t be talking. Shapeshifting humans, and humans with unnatural powers that are given by their implants. What would that be? We are all from different universes, we’re apart of a multiverse.” Erica exclaimed. Andrew stood up and turned away for a moment and looked at the others. At first, Andrew was about to say she was crazy. Then he realized how crazy he would’ve sounded trying to deny it since they had literally been talking to animals and the animals talked back.
“But what about the other’s? Aragorn and his family? They seem to be normal.” Andrew said as he turned back to Erica,
“They seem normal from a glance, but did you see what they were wearing around their necks?”
“Medallions? What so important about that?” Andrew said.
“Medallions with implants as the main jewel. They have to be from a different universe, or maybe from one of our futures.” Erica said, Andrew nodded. Her theory was making more and more sense when you added all the pieces together.
‘This makes it all the more important that we should work togeth-’ “We can’t trust them Andrew, we can’t stay with any of them. When the time is right, me, you, Sylas and Freya need to run for it and not tell anyone what we plan.” Erica said, scrambling Andrew’s thoughts.
“What? Erica, No.” Andrew said in shock to what he just heard,
“What do you mean no, we can’t trust them. We-” “Erica. No. if what your saying is true. We aren’t here by chance, the same is with everyone else here. Now if that’s the case, we need to work together to find out why we are here. We need to learn to trust each other and not tear each other apart.” Andrew said, “Now we can’t keep this a secret from everyone else. So when we all meet back up, we’ll tell everyone what we might’ve found out. But we’ll keep it secret for the meantime.” He continued. Erica shook her head in irritation. Andrew looked at her, she was one of the most stubborn people he ever knew.
“Why will you keep it a secret for now? Why not tell the others with us what we think is going on?” Erica asked annoyed,
“Because I don’t want panic and distrust from our group or Samuel’s. If panic hits us now, I don’t want to know what could happen. So it’s just going to stay with you and me until we meet with the others.” Andrew stated.
“You don’t even want to tell Sylas and Freya? Why?” Erica asked,
“Because Sylas will die to panic and Freya will try to kill the dragons barehanded thinking their demons to cause the end or what not and I’m afraid for their lives.” Andrew said.
“Your afraid for Sylas and Freya if she decides to attack the dragons?”
“No, I’m afraid for the lives of the dragons. They’d never expect her to be so tough nor would they expect her to be so good at killing. She could probably kill them all if she was angry enough.” Andrew said, Erica laughed for a minute. Then she looked at Samuel and the others with him.
“So, do you trust them?” Erica asked,
“I don’t trust them yet nor do I distrust them. I don’t know what to think of everyone who we’ve met here. But I want to protect everyone we met, and this information can be dangerous if we don’t tell everyone at the same time. It can hurt those that I do trust like you, Sylas and Freya or those I haven’t yet begun to trust.” Andrew said, Erica nodded to it. But she looked away and stayed silent. She then got up and looked at Andrew.
“If it’s alright with you Andrew. Can we get back to work now?” Erica asked,
“You look better, I don’t see any harm in that. I’ll call Ruby back and we’ll finish up.” Andrew said. Erica walked back to where she was working before.
Andrew watched her for a moment. For all the pain she is to him, he liked her the most out of the people he trusted here. She reminded him of her from long ago. A face he wish he could remember, but a voice he can never forget.
‘I miss you Andy…’
“I miss you Rue.” Andrew said quietly to himself, tears beginning to roll down his cheeks. He collapsed into the chair, trying to remember what she looked like. But he couldn’t, he couldn’t remember what his best friend looked like. “I wish… I wish I told you that you were like a sister to me. I regret not telling you, I regretted it the day I came out of the pod. Forgive me Rue.” He said with a frail voice to himself. He slowly stood back up. Trying to hold back his emotions just for a while more.
“Ruby, can you come help Erica and me finish up with the jet. She’s feeling much better!!” Andrew yelled, he watched her head turn to him and then run over to where Erica was at to help. And Andrew walked slowly over to where he was working. He walked passed Ruby and Erica, she gave him a silly look and smiled.
“What took you long slow poke?” Erica said, Andrew chuckled at this.
“Very funny. Come on, let’s finish this so you two can go investigate that obelisk.” Andrew said smiling, and they all nodded and began working on the jet again.

Chapter twenty two: Terran high investigation.
As the Petersons and Sylvevee’s group wandered, a loud roar suddenly rang through the air. The sound seemed to be coming from the black obelisk. “What was that?” Drake muttered. They saw Sheeri the wyvern, flying from the obelisk in the distance. “What do you think happened?” Sylveevee asked. “Maybe there was nothing at the Obelisk and she flew away.” Jay said. “Maybe she changed her mind about going to the Obelisk.” Skyocean said. “Maybe it decided to come back and eat us.” Aragorn said darkly. Arianna gave her husband a stern glare.
Aragorn sighed and turned to Queen Sylveevee. “So where do you think we should go now…Princess Purple?” He asked. Sylveevee scowled at him. “Maybe that building?” Arianna asked pointing toward a large building, that was a school. “Looks kind of like a school, although none of the schools I’ve seen are as large as that.” Jack said. “That’s because we’ve only seen one school.” Jay said. Jack scoffed. “DON’T act like you’re smarter than me.” Jack said. Jay turned and looked at Moonhigh and Sunhigh and made a face at Jack’s back. Moonhigh and Sunhigh giggled. “I guess that’s settled then, we’re going to that school.” Drake said.
They walked until they came to the school. A sign said that it was “Terran High School”. It was a giant white building surrounded by a massive courtyard. They walked inside and were greeted with the sight of rows of metal lockers and doors that led into class rooms. “I say we split up to cover more ground in the school and then meet back up in this hall.” Sylveevee said. Aragorn nodded. “Got it.” The two groups split up, each going their own way.
“I don’t see anything of importance.” Emma said, looking through the books on the wall. The Petersons were looking in the principal’s office. She read the titles silently to herself. Dodo tales, The Arks: Over heaven, Queen of Aberration, Protectors of Pandora, The Obelisk, Ultimus, Hope’s Cry and- “Wait what?” Emma slid out a book labeled “The Terrible demise of Tortuga”. Arianna trotted up to her. “What is it?” Her mother asked. “This book…is about Tortuga….and it’s…demise?” Emma said, confusion written all over her face. “But that can’t be right. We live in Tortuga.” Arianna said softly. “It’s probably just some fiction trash.” Aragorn muttered from the other side of the room, where he was digging through the Principal’s desk.
Emma put the book back on the shelf. “We didn’t find anything.” Jay and Jack said in union, walking into the room. They had been searching one of the nearby classrooms. “Only school supplies and weird mechanisms. By the way…what is this?” Jack asked, holding up a microscope. Emma took it from him, and studied it. “I have no idea.” She said. Arianna took it from her daughter and set it down on the table. “I don’t think there’s anything in here, Aragorn said walking up, his arms crossed. They walked out into the hall. Queen Sylveevee and her group were already there. “Did y’all find anything?” Arianna asked sweetly. “Probably not.” Aragorn muttered. “No. Did y’all find anything?” Skyocean said. “No. Just some weird words painted on the wall in the principal’s office.” Arianna said.
“Well I guess there’s not a lot of information in this building then.” Emma said. Everyone else nodded in agreement. “We’ll have to keep searching?” Sunhigh asked nervously. Sylveevee put a hand on his shoulder. “Yes.” She said. Moonhigh squeezed his hand reassuringly. “Okay, so where too next?” Drake asked. “Maybe the mayors’ mansion? I think we should visit all the important buildings in the city.” Sylveevee said. “As long as you don’t have a problem with that….Mister black.” Sylveevee raised her eyebrows at Aragorn. He gritted his teeth. “Fine. We can go to the mayors house.” He growled.
And so off they went to the mayors mansion…..

Chapter 42: herald of darkness
—By Wyvernian
Drain flew beside Apex as the dragon and Jerry fought the heroes, ‘such power! It should be mine!’ Drain thought. “It could be yours.” A voice said. “What? Who was that.” Drain said. “Who was what?” Apex said in between fireblasts. “Hey! Drain!” Sheeri said. “What!?” Drain shouted. “Catch!” She said, Drain looked confused as she threw a pink fuzz ball at him. “IM A FLYING SQUIRREL!!” Steve said as he shifted from a ball into a Superman pose, he smacked into Drain’s face and latched on, scratching like a rabbit animal. “AGH GET IT OFF!” Drain said. Jerry looked his way and chuckled slightly, then turned back to puppeteering Bubby, who he forced to attack Syocean and Yang. Drain tried to shake off the rodent but he had a firm grip, “screech.” The voice said. “What?!” Drain shouted. “SCREECH!” The voice yelled. Drain echolocated. Steve clutched his ears, “AGHH that hurts!” He said. Steve let go of Drain and plummeted. Sheeri was dodging Apex’s blasts when she saw Steve fall, “NOO!” She shouted, she blasted Apex’s snout with ice, temporarily stunning him, she flew towards Steve, catching him in the nick of time, “thanks, kind walrus.” Steve said. “Huh?” Sheeri said looking at him. “Buddy! Please! Fight it!” Yang yelled, dodging the purlovias attacks. “I-I C-Can’t!” Buddy said. “Nobody escapes my grip…” Jerry said. “Oh ya? Well nobody escapes my ice!” Sheeri said, she blasted Jerry, freezing him and restricting his movement, disabling his blood bending. Apex’s mouth opened, shattering the ice, “You must be from my world to be so brave, most would cower or kneel before me.” Apex said. “Literally nobody does that..” Pat said. “Human? Where did you come from?!” Drain asked. “Been here the whole time, didn’t think you needed the help until that guy got iced and you almost lost a fight to a squirrel.” Pat said. “Well? Are you going to help!” Drain asked. “With pleasure.” Pat said, he shapeshifted into a basilisk. “He can do that?!” Yang shouted. “Sylveevee said he couldn’t!” Sheeri said. “You’ll be surprised how much Sylveevee doesn’t know about me..” Pat said. “Drain. It’s time.” The voice said. “Alright can nobody else hear that?!” Drain yelled. “HEAR WHAT!” Four or five voices angrily said at once. “Drain. Return to the keep. I can give you the means to achieve what you desire. Power.” The voice said the last word with a monstrous tone. Drain looked around, he noticed that the sun was setting. It’s yellow light faded, Drain went invisible and flew towards the Shadowkeep.
Meanwhile, At the mansion, the living/dining room was wrecked, shortstacks and Freya were dueling on the stairs, Shortstacks using the high ground to his advantage, Freya had Two tek hatchets, Nova and Drake had taken the fight to the roof, Willow and Fjordur’s dragon battled them, Willow took two tek daggers from the table, she fought drake who had shifted into a thylacoleo. “Is that all you got lady?!” Drake said. “Pretty much..” Willow said, she then fazed through the floor. “What?!” Drake said. Nova was flying circles around Fjordurs dragon, literally. “So you got a name buddy?” Nova asked as she dashed around him. “Well.. no..” the dragon said as he tried to blast her. “Aw, that’s too bad, maybe I can help? How about.. loser!” Nova said exitedly. “How dare you!” The dragon shouted.
“Puny human, I destroyed your race, what can you do to stop me!” King Titan said to Andrew. “This!” Andrew said, he fired an orange arrow at the titan, it exploded in his face blinding him, then When his vision cleared he saw Tago, she blasted fire at him, forcing him to stumble back, then the two drakes uncloaked and grabbed his legs, forcing him to fall over with a thud.
Caldren and Felswand ran after Aurora, she fled, but the huge apes were faster, “Time for smash!” Caldren said lifting up his mace. Just then two raptors jumped on the hybrid, “WHOA!” He said falling over, his mace slamming on the ground a few feet away from Ember who jumped away.
Drain flew over the ocean of genesis, it was storming and he could barely see in front of his face,
“Come, Drain.”
“The power you desire shall be granted!”
“The dagger!”
“the dragon!”
“Find the dagger!”
“Kill the dragon!”
“Reveal your true destiny!”
“Come to the keep!”
“The keep us under siege!”
“Faster Drain!”
“The dagger!”
“The dragon!”
“Kill the dragon!”
“Stop the intruders!”
“They’re coming!”
“SILENCE!!!” Drain bellowed, the voice stopped. Drain reached the convergence point between the genesis ocean and the dark forest, the weather changed Immediately as he entered the red and purple forest. He saw the castle, dark and magnificent in the bright moonlight. “Come! Find the dagger!” The voice said. “WHAT DAGGER!” Drain. “The dagger of balance” the monstrous voice said. Drain flew over the wall, something told him the barrier wouldn’t harm him, he was right. He flew towards a window, it opened for him, he uncloaked as he entered. “The intruders, they’re in the cave.” The voice said. Drain walked down a spiral staircase, he entered the throne room, Milo was sitting in his throne, nursing his arm. “What, did you run away like Jethy?” Milo said. “Says the wimp too scared to fight at all.” Drain said. Milo scoffed. “Well, anyway, Jethezzar ran off to his room, seemed.. I don’t know, petrified. Definitely not the same as he was this morning. And Rockwell’s in the lab.” Milo said. “Meanwhile we have intruders.” Drain said. “What?! How do you know?” Milo said sitting up. “Where’s that other human?” Drain asked. “Samuel? guy went downstairs.” Milo said. “Idiot! He could’ve let them in! He’s a spy!” Drain said. Milo got up and followed the bat down the stairs, when they reached the bottom they saw Samuel. He was softly crying. “Ugh, humans..” Drain said. “Sh-she she left me..” Samuel said. “Who?!” Milo shouted. “AUTHORIZATION DENIED, HEROES DETECTED, SYSTEM SHUT DOWN.” The black obelisks automated voice said. “Darn it!” Jay said. “What do we do now?” Sunhigh asked. “How about, get out of my way..” Moonhigh screamed when she saw Drain, a portal opened and the kids and Star ran through. “Where did they go?” Milo asked, “who cares..” Drain said. “Find them, alert Rockwell and Jethezzar.” Drain said. “What about you?” Milo asked. “GO!” Drain yelled.
Milo left the room and Drain walked up to the obelisk. “Drain, the dagger.” The voice said. It was louder now. “Can you be a little more specific?” Drain asked. “Take, the dagger, tip the scales, become my herald of darkness.” The monstrous voice said. Drain looked ahead, he saw a shape in the obelisks beam of shadow. He walked up and took it, the dagger glowed, the hilt was black but the blade was white, it was a ceremonial dagger, the blade had an engraving of the omega symbol on it. “Why must I kill Apex with this?” Drain asked. “Not kill, drain, drain his lifeforce, to become herald, you must take the darkness of one of your own!” The voice said. “How…” Drain asked
Apex had The heroes on the ground, they were too tired and weak to fight, He thawed Jerry and the guy left to go find someone else to fight, Apex saw no reason to kill them. He looked up, the moon above him, “father, why…” Apex said. “Father’s not here Apex.” Drain said. Apex looked down at the bat, “Drain, where did you go you coward!” Apex said. “I’ve been wanting this for so long.. ever since I saw Phasma get power from the broodmother, I knew, I knew I would one day become even more. Now, I have the power to achieve my goals.” Drain said holding up the dagger. “Drain? What are you talking about? What is that blade?” Apex asked. “It’s time..” Drain said. The moon turned into a blood moon, the red light washing over the city. The dagger hummed in Drain’s grasp, “Drain..?” Apex said slowly. “Time to die..” Drain said. “That’s it!” Apex said, he blasted the desmodus with his red fire, but Drain went invisible and dodged the attack, Apex looked around for him, only to see him on his back, the dagger glowing red, “DEW IT!” The voice said. Drain thrust the dagger into Apex’s hide, the dragon shuddered in pain, he roared in agony, purple and black mist started to come out of him and into the dagger, the dagger’s blade started to turn grey.
Jethezzar was flying around the castle to see if the children had fled into the forest, just as he was about to go back inside, a beam of purple and black light exploded from the Shadowkeep, it shot up into the sky and arced towards the city, “what the heck..” Jethezzar said.
Drain pulled out the dagger, it was entirely black except the tip, the beam of darkness struck down on him, the power flooding into him, he grew in size, wile Apex shrunk down to regular dragon size, Apex collapsed and Drain flew so into the air, he dropped the dagger and his wings grew, his eyes were inverted, with white pupils. “This world will be mine..” Drain said.

Andrew looked at everyone and took a deep breath. He was going to need to direct everyone. He wasn’t sure if Samuel was going to be okay with it though and was afraid that he would object to it. But it was worth a shot.
“Alright, I think we need to split into two groups while working on this plane. Samuel, Aurora and Neddy, help Freya and Sylas and gather materials and components we need. Me, Erica and Ruby will install parts and build the components we’ll need.” Andrew said,
“Okay, but why Ruby?” Neddy asked.
“Because she said she can craft anything we need, if that’s the case then we might need her expertise if you can’t find components.” Andrew said, Samuel nodded as if he was processing this.
“Well, can I help you guys?” Neddy asked,
“Well, it depends. Do you have a degree in engineering or have a similar ability to Ruby’s?” Andrew asked.
“No, but I doubt you do though.”
“Technically I don’t, but I wasn’t able to finish my final year because my parents froze me in cryostasis at age eleven.” Andrew stated, Samuel and his group all looked at him with wide eyes.
“You almost graduated college, at age eleven? What about you Erica? Do you have a college degree in engineering?” Aurora asked, she seemed pretty shocked by what Andrew said.
“I had a PhD in Engineering and a degree in Physics by age eighteen. You needed both to work on either Project Prometheus and Atlas.” Erica said.
“I don’t believe this, we just got out of high school and you two would’ve graduated college by our age with several degrees. What year are you from?” Neddy asked
“Well, I can’t say for Erica. But I can tell you that I’m from the middle of the 24th century.” Andrew said, he closed his eyes and took a moment to remember some things that he repressed. His eyes began to get watery. He quickly opened them and looked at the others.
“Enough talk though for now together. Let’s get to work.” Andrew said with a cracking voice as he turned away from everyone to look at the plane and let his eyes fill with tears without watching eyes.
* * * *
Soon everyone began working like bees in a hive trying to fix the old jet up. It was missing a lot more components than either Erica or Andrew thought so it was going to take that much more work. Samuel, Neddy and Aurora seemed to be working pretty well with Freya and Sylas. They seemed like they were getting along. Him, Erica and Ruby were getting a lot done and were working together well. But Ruby was being super quiet as she watched Erica and him install components. Andrew accidentally caught her doing this and she quickly looked away in another direction. And when she wasn’t looking at them or working on components. She was staring off towards the other group. ‘She must feel lonely. Maybe we should talk to her so that she feels more comfortable.’ Andrew thought.
“You know, you can ask us anything you want Ruby.” Andrew said, “No she can’t Andrew.” Erica retorted.
“Erica… fine, it’s okay if she wants to ask me anything then.” Andrew said, irritation was in his voice with Erica.
“Well if you’re not going to do what I say… I guess it’s alright if you ask me. Depending on the question and if I can ask you questions.” Erica muttered. Ruby brushed her hand through her hair lightly and pushed her glasses into a better position.
“Why is Sylas so confident that he can hack the Obelisk?” Ruby asked,
“He’s too confident if you ask me, sure he hacked a ascension terminal for our landing on Earth instead of an Ark. Big whoop, but the Obelisks are a different story. One wrong code he adds and we’re all screwed.” Erica said, “But to be fair… I over encouraged him when when he succeeded in hacking the ascension terminal. I was panicking and thought we were all going to die and that gave me hope. I’m going to have to set him straight before he starts messing with the obelisk terminal.” She continued.
“Better do that after you get there, doing it here will only make him more nervous when he finally gets there.” Andrew said,
“Is that all you wanted to ask Ruby?” Andrew continued, a soft smile on his face.
“What’s it like? The future I mean.” Ruby asked,
“Well, which do you mean? Because we’re in what most of my life has looked liked. For the 24th century, you’d have to ask Erica.” Andrew answered,
“If you mean my time, it’s not much different. Sure the buildings are in a lot better shape, the landscape is less alien and Earth is less abandoned. But other then that, it’s a wasteland that had no hope besides the project the URE had.” Erica stated.
“What is the URE? And what project were they planning?” Ruby asked.
“Well the United Republic of Earth is one of the two main nations to exist in our time. And Project Atlas or The Ark Initiative was a project which had us create giant space stations that contain life from all across Earth’s existence. You and me are apart of that, anyone who has an implant will be on an Ark from what I can tell.” Erica explained.
“You have an implant? Wait, what’s your ability Erica?” She saying in excitement, her eyes widened with curiosity.
“What? No, that’s not how implants work. They don’t give individuals unique powers.” Erica said slightly confused,
“But Neddy’s, Aurora’s and mine do, I think Samuel’s does too. How can you explain that?” Ruby asked.
“I can’t, I really can’t. It doesn’t make any sense…” Erica said, she started muttering to herself and then paused “unless.”, Erica’s face went white and she began to loose her balance. Andrew and Ruby quickly got to her and helped her stand, both holding her from her arms. “Ruby, help me get her to that chair.” Andrew said, Ruby nodded and they both helped walk Erica. Erica was babbling under her breath about something as they eased her into the chair. Andrew knelt down by the chair.

Chapter 47: History Repeats Itself - by Ben
As Aurora stared at the transformed Herald of Darkness, his wings flapping in the sky, a bolt of fear struck her heart and she slowly began to back away.
“What IS that?!” Aurora thought to herself as her eyes began to waver.
Before she could have time to reflect, Prince Caldren ran up to her and slammed his mace downwards. Snake rushed in and quickly pounced on her, pushing her out of the way of the attack. The mace slammed into the cobbled road, causing rock and stone to fly everywhere. Snake was panting for air and quickly got off her.
“Can’t rest now,” Snake reminded her, “The battle isn’t over yet.”
Prince Caldren let out a roar to assert his dominance. He clutched onto the mace with both of his hands and swung at the side of Snake’s body. She quickly jumped over the mace, and the weight quickly shifted to the end of Caldren’s mace, causing him to stumble forward. Rage rushed in from behind and kicked him forward. He tripped and landed smack dab onto the ground. Rage quickly regrouped with Snake and Aurora, who had recovered from the floor.
“YOU DUMB RAPTORS WILL PAY!” Prince Caldren screamed, his voice muffled. He got up from the ground, and dropped the mace to the ground. He pounded his fists into his chest like a gorilla and charged forward. The three just stood there, looking on like deer in headlights, when Aurora shouted,
“NOW!”
The three quickly dived out of the way, and Prince Caldren was unable to stop in his tracks. His eyes widened as his body plummeted right into a building. His body crashed through the plastered walls, and he let out a fierce roar as he tried to pull himself out. It was no use though. He had gotten himself stuck. Aurora let out a sigh of relief.
“That was close,” Aurora sighed. Rage looked down at Aurora.
“Who taught you how to fight?”
Aurora smiled at her words,
“Freya did. She’s a great fighter-”
“She must be a bad teacher then because you almost died,” Rage snapped, a venom to her words. Snake playfully slapped her tail onto Rage’s body.
“Hey, she did great,” Snake affirmed, “She just doesn’t have the right mindset, that’s all.”
Aurora turned back around to stare at Drain. He was still cackling, his wings flapping in the air. He seemed to be high off the power he had gained. He wouldn’t be a threat… for now, at least.
“Okay. We should go help the others fight then-” Aurora was interrupted as a street pole suddenly slammed itself into Aurora’s stomach. Aurora let out a gasp of pain as the street pole burst through Aurora’s torso and jutted out like a sword. Blood dripped from the end and Aurora’s eyes began to water.
“Not so fast human,” Lieutenant Felswand snarled, his hands gripping tightly on the street pole, “Have you forgotten about me?”
Snake let out a snarl and quickly dashed at him. Lieutenant Felswand dropped the pole and delivered a right hook to Snake’s jaw. Snake was sent flying backwards, tumbling around and hitting her body against the glass doors of a convenience store, causing it to shatter upon her. Rage quickly followed up, trying to attack him before he had a chance to react. Rage was successful, and she managed to chomp down on Lieutenant Felswand’s left arm.
“OUCH!” Lieutenant Felswand howled. Rage lashed back, tearing a chunk of his arm off. Lieutenant Felswand cried out in pain. Rage quickly opened her jaws and then bit down on his left arm again. Felswand winced in pain, but knew how to counter her now. Felswand turned around, disorienting Rage as she continued to clamp on, and then slammed his arm into the ground, causing Rage to let go and crumple, defeated. It wasn’t enough. Lieutenant Felswand was much heavier than the raptors and his punches hit harder too.
“It’s over now, you’re all not enough to stop us,” Lieutenant Felswand snarled.
BAM!
Joe Kong came rushing in and slammed a bowl of berries into Felswand’s face. Berry juice splurted all over his face, and he began to blink his eyes rapidly, unable to see.
“Take that you fiend! That’s for punching me in the face!” Joe Kong jeered. Felswand grabbed at the bowl stuck to his face and tossed it off, but as he did Joe Kong readied his fist and slammed it right into his cheek. Felswand’s head snapped to the side, and Joe Kong let out a roar as he wrapped his arms around Felswand’s body, picking him up with all of his strength and pulling him to the ground. Felswand began to struggle as Joe Kong wrapped his legs around Felswand. Joe Kong began to twist his arm. He was applying the Forbidden Indian Burn Technique.
“EMBER! HELP ME!” Lieutenant Felswand cried out for help. Joe Kong smirked as his head jolted around. The old terror bird was nowhere in sight.
“Heh, looks like he ran away,” Joe Kong taunted him. Lieutenant Felswand suddenly stopped struggling as he realized his boss was not there to assist him. He seemed almost disappointed in himself.
“What was I thinking about working for him…” Lieutenant Felswand murmured. Joe Kong pitied him. As he slowly loosened his grip on him, he realized he was going nowhere. Joe Kong let go of Lieutenant Felswand, and he crumpled to his knees. Joe Kong got up from the ground and brushed the dirt off his hands. His heart still pounded against his ape chest. His first real fight…
“I didn’t do so bad,” Joe Kong thought. He looked around at Rage and Snake, who were slowly picking themselves up from the grounds. They seemed to be doing okay.
But as he turned around and spotted Aurora, his smug smirk turned to a gasp.
“Human!”

June wandered the dark forest, the dead trees surrounded her crackling with the smell of nightmares. If nightmares could smell, that is. She took in her surroundings. For a while, it had been nothing but endless forest. There was nothing more to this world, it seemed, other than the glitchy air and the grim nothingness.
Just a few moments ago, the sky turned red and she heard an evil cackle in the distance. She did not know what it was, but she did not care either. All she wanted was to find who she loved.
“Oh if you’re here what could you possibly be going through?” June wondered to herself, placing a hand on her heart, “I hope those strange creatures did nothing wrong to you. Otherwise…”
Fire crackled from her fingers and exploded in a display of sheer power. She turned around. An ominous castle lay in the distance, with the Black Obelisk seemingly gone.
“Perhaps we shouldn’t take any chances huh?”
June walked over to a nearby tree and the fire jumped off her hands and onto the tree, lighting it ablaze. The fire jumped to tree after tree, slowly making its way over to the Shadowkeep. June smiled to herself and turned around, continuing her trek.
But as she walked, her eyes pinned to something in the distance. There seemed to be buildings of all kinds just a mile away. She squinted her eyes at the mysterious metropolis. Then, fire burst from her legs.
“I should check it out,” June whispered to herself. She jumped up, the fire from her legs shooting her into the air and toward the city in an instant. Her feet slammed into a random building, and the roof almost collapsed in. She took a moment to look around, until her gaze landed on a bar. The lights inside were on, unlike the rest of the buildings in the city. She could still hear the sounds of fighting and the evil cackling of the bat.
Wordlessly, she hopped off the building and made her way to the bar.
~
Neddy, Ruby, and Emma were chilling at the bar. They were sitting at one of the booths, watching over the unconscious prisoners and the unconscious Ben cautiously. The lights were buzzing above them, and the mood was quiet and somber.
“So shouldn’t we go help the others fight?” Neddy asked, looking around nervously as if someone could barge in at any moment. Ruby put a hand on Neddy’s arm.
“I think we should rest for now and keep an eye on those guys,” Ruby said, looking at Michael and Lil Jack. Their passed out bodies were on the hardwood floor. After taking them captive they had bound them with a bunch of rope, so if they woke up they wouldn’t be going anywhere. Emma couldn’t help but smile at the two. They reminded her of her and Andrew’s relationship.
“I hope he’s okay, wherever he is,” Emma thought to herself. She looked to her left, where Ben was sleeping. His head was resting on the table, and his body softly rose up and down. He had a bump on his head from the rock Lil Jack had dropped. Emma squinted her eyes, trying to activate her medallion once more to peek into his past, but it didn’t work. Her medallion power was still spontaneous.
“Neddy and Ruby know him, I think,” Emma thought, “So how is this man in my ‘time’?”
Emma wasn’t too sure of it. She could hear Ben mutter someone’s name under his breath. He almost seemed sad saying that name. Emma tried to listen in, but everytime she did, Ben would stop talking. It was almost as if, subconsciously, he knew someone was eavesdropping. All Emma could pick up was the fact that the name had two syllables.
The blood moon had risen a few minutes ago. It was quite the hectic situation, but the three had reasoned that they probably couldn’t do much about the evil bat and would leave it to the others.
Before Emma had any more time to think, Ben suddenly shifted in his sleep. Neddy flinched at the sight, and Emma scooted away in her seat. Ruby took out her crossbow, aiming it at Ben’s face.
Ben groggily lifted his head from the table, his eyes weary and his expression especially somber. He looked around warily, and then his eyes spotted Michael’s. Neddy quickly got up from the booth and stopped Ben.
“Alright we aren’t going to try killing him, he might have valuable information we could use,” Neddy told him. Ben looked past Neddy at Michael and grumbled. He slunk back in his seat, miserable.
“What’s the point,” Ben muttered, “Of killing him. He’ll just come back.”
“What are you talking about?” Ruby asked, shoving the crossbow closer to Ben’s face. Ben ignored the crossbow and his head dropped to his hand, propping it up and looking at the fridge behind the counter.
“If he’s not the Michael I know there’s probably ten other Michael’s waiting,” Ben mumbled, “I can’t kill them all so why try.”
Neddy’s eyebrows furrowed in regret. He sat back down at his booth, looking at him in worry.
“Dude what happened to you man? You didn’t look this miserable last time we met. Last time-”
“Just be quiet man,” Ben replied, as he closed his eyes again, “I’ve been here for like ten years and there’s no way out of course I’m like this.”
Ruby’s eyes widened, and she lowered her crossbow.
“H-how long?”
Emma’s heart dropped at his words. Ten years, perhaps even more stuck here?
“Is there really a way out?” Emma thought, her eyes wide with horror. She suddenly began to panic, “Will I ever see Andrew again? Josephina, Jaquin? Emelia? What will they think if we-”
“HEY WHY AM I TIED UP?!” Michael suddenly exploded from his spot. All eyes (except Ben) turned to him as he began to struggle around, moving his body and pushing at the rope around his body.
“THIS IS INSANE!” Michael screamed, “I’m the mayor of Tortuga damn it! I should have you all hanged-”
“Shut it up will you!” Neddy shouted at him.
“Yeah dude, nobody likes you,” Ruby snapped, “You’re annoying and not even that strong.”
Michael glared at the two of them.
“You two idiots don’t know who I am!” Michael shouted. He looked at Emma, “Emma! Get me out of here right now!”
Emma ignored Michael and looked onwards at Neddy and Ruby.
“Emma? EMMA! I know you can hear me! I said to get me out of here…”
“Right. NOW!”
Bump!
The fridge suddenly shook. Everyone looked at the fridge, even Michael. They could hear the humming of the fridge for a moment, but no noise came out of it afterwards.
“That was weird,” Michael muttered, “Anyway Emma stop with this ‘playing hard to get’ game and get me out of here-”
The doors to the bar suddenly burst open. They heard the gasp of a woman.
“Ben?”
All eyes turned to the bar entrance. A woman with long orange-brown hair and flak armor was standing at the entrance, her jaw open in surprise. Nobody there seemed to recognize her. Ben squinted his eyes.
“Who are you?” Ben asked. Then, he suddenly got annoyed.
“Ben! It’s me, June!”
June stepped forward. Neddy and Ruby didn’t seem to think anything of it, but Emma was suspicious.
“Is she friend or foe?” Emma thought, “And if she's a friend…”
“Why doesn’t Ben seem so pleased to meet her?”
The Omega Timeline Chapter 43: Battles and Whispers
Erica sat next to Sylas as she watched over him as he lay there. His face smushed into the stone ground, still breathing. Erica had a sheathed Tek sword strapped to her left side and two new bracelets around her wrists. She looked at her right wear a full suit of Tek lay for Sylas whenever he got up. She was genuinely getting irritated with him not getting up yet, she didn’t know if was alright to forcefully wake him up because of the injuries he sustained. But if he didn’t wake up soon she’d make him get up. Erica began thinking about how she met him. She saved her, she saved them. She wasn’t going to lose him this way.
A large thud startled Erica and immediately got up and looked down toward where the noise came from. A young woman with long black curly hair with two daggers in hand stood on the other side of the cave away from the door which was behind Erica. It almost seemed like she appeared from nowhere.
Erica didn’t like this, this lady seemed to be different from the others that came from the obelisk. She slowly walked towards her, her left hand resting on the handle of the sword. She stopped about 10 feet away from her.
“Who are you?” Erica said sternly, her hand still resting on the sword. The woman looked around, she seemed surprised and in awe at the place.
“This place is beautiful.” the woman said, ignoring Erica’s question.
“It is… Now Who Are You?” Erica stated again. The woman looked at her with a stern face. Her eyes showed irritation and genuine hostility toward Erica.
“Move.”
“Excuse me?”
“Move out of my way.”
“What for?”
“So I can get to that.” The woman said, pointing to the White Obelisks terminal. Erica showed irritation, knowing now this was no ally.
“I’m not going to do that, and I’m not going to let you get to that.” Erica said, lifting her left hand off the sword handle.
“It’s either that or… die. Which I don’t have a problem arranging.” The woman said. Erica unsheathed her sword and activated it. Its blue glow shined bright and humming with power and energy.
“I’d like to see you try.” Erica said, her stare stone cold.
“You’ve obviously never messed with Phoenix before?” The woman said, but she never got an answer as Erica had charged up a lunge with her sword and launched towards her.
And so element clashed with element inside the terminal room of the white obelisk.
The clashing of Tek, and the yelling and grunts of the fight slowly aroused Sylas. His eyes opened slowly with his hearing slowly tuning into the world around him. Hearing the fight between the two women. His eyes focused as he tried to get up and see what was happening. His head throbbed as he adjusted himself on the ground to look at what was going on. He watched as Erica and this strange woman fought with their futuristic weapons. Looking like a cooler and better spin-off of Star Wars in his eyes.
The woman seemed to be better at fighting than Erica, Erica seemed to be struggling with keeping up with her. But the sword held her edge to keep up. Erica blocked an incoming attack and swiftly counterattacked her with a slash to the gut. Only for her blade to pass through her body like nothing was there. Erica looked up to see the woman smile as she swung a haymaker at her head. Erica dropped the sword and staggered back. The woman kicked the sword away and began swinging her blades at her. Erica quickly reacted and backed away as the blades.
“You should have never messed with a Phoenix.” The woman said judging her. Erica gritted her teeth with disgust.
“And you should’ve never come here.” Erica said as she bashed her forearms and wrists together strangely and went with an unusual uppercut that looked like it was going to come up short.
But Willow’s face showed surprise as a translucent blade appeared from her hand and was coming at her face. Willow didn’t react or think fast enough phase and tried to dodge the attack. The blade came close and slashed her in the cheek causing her to bleed. But the onslaught from Erica only just began as she kept swinging at Willow. Willow though didn’t dodge and instead, the blade began phasing through her until Erica’s fist hit her. The punch came and hit her in the gut and Erica kept on swinging. With each hit coming in faster and faster and hitting harder and harder. The blades just went through her like she was a ghost, but the fists hit her hard and she kept taking them.
Willow was getting hit so hard and fast now by each fist that it made her think she was superhuman.
‘How is this woman doing this?’ She wondered as she was now trying to block the hits coming in, but Erica was swinging too fast and too hard to do that now.
Erica swung and knocked her block down throwing a fist square in her face. Knocking her down to the ground. Dazed but with blades in hand, she looked up at Erica who stood menacingly ahead of her with those claws. Willow wiped her lip to see blood on her hand.
“Leave… Now.” Erica said, Willow smiled.
“You think that’s going to stop me? Some blood and bruises? I’ll drop you dead…” Willow said as she got up. Erica readied herself and began swinging again at normal speed. But Willow was ready for this fight. She started blocking better against Erica, not letting Erica get a hit on her. Then Erica left a side of her abdomen unprotected and Willow took her shot. She pierced her in the abdomen and twisted the blade. Erica screamed in pain and started throwing her fists at Willow’s head leaving more of herself open and again Willow took her chance and pierced her in the middle of the upper chest with her second blade, as soon as it happened Erica stopped and gasped with a slight gurgling sound coming with it. Willow smiled at this and began pulling the blade down. Erica grabbed the handle and her hands resisted Willow pushing down but Willow was overpowering her easily at this point. Erica could hear her breastplate bone cracking from the blade going further down her chest towards her abdomen again. She tried to scream in pain but instead began coughing and coughing up blood. She was beginning to choke on her own blood. And she fell to the ground unconscious from the pain. Willow smiled triumphantly and grabbed the one dagger she had first stabbed her with. And as she started heading towards the terminal, she heard a man yelling and running at her. She turned around and threw a dagger at Sylas who was running at her. Sylas didn’t react in time completely but was able to shield it from hitting his body with his hand. The dagger pieces straight through the palm of his hand and Sylas yelled but he didn’t stop and he tackled her to the ground. He tried to punch he but she quickly and easily overpowered him and got him to the ground. She pulled the dagger from his hand and started trying to force it into his head. But Sylas resisted, and Willow looked in frustration as she was slowly winning the fight.
“The last thing you're going to hear is my name. My name is-” She never told him his name. Someone else had cut her off and tackled her off of Sylas.
“Close your eyes, everyone!! Sunhigh do it!!” A young girl's voice said. Sylas didn’t question and rolled onto his belly and shut his eyes tight, everyone except Willow did the same thing. A large flash of light brightened so hard that Sylas was still getting blinded and a yell echoed through the room from Willow who was blinded by the full force of Sunhigh’s.
“Get back Jack!! I think it’s time for this one to go!!” Jay said and Jack quickly nodded and got out of the way as Jay opened a portal behind Willow.
“Wait!! Do I… do I know you from somewhere?” Willow asked but she couldn’t see where Jay was at the moment due to being temporarily blind. Jay looked at Willow for a good moment before shaking his head.
“I don’t think so. Now bye Felicia!!” Jay said as he and Jack kicked Willow into the portal and Jay closed it behind her. He wasn’t sure where he sent her and only hoped that it was far far away. Star squawked her approval for what Jay did, flapping her wings as she did.
“Erica!” Sylas yelled, Jay and the others turned around as they saw Sylas was holding her, she had a dagger in her chest and didn’t look awake. Jay looked at the dagger and tried to reach for it before Sylas slapped his hand.
“Hey!!” Jay yipped,
“Haven’t you seen any sort of action movie? If we take it out of her, she will die faster than if we leave it in.” Sylas said, Jay and Jack looked at him with confusion.
“What’s a movie?” Jack asked, Sylas looked at him dumbfounded. He quickly got up and ran to the terminal.
“Hey, what are you doing?” Jay asked as all of the kids followed him.
“I need to see if there’s anything in this terminal that will save my friend. She’s dying, and… I don’t know what to do. Maybe this has some healing brews like the drops on the Ark me and her were on. What did she call it? Oh, that doesn’t matter. I need to save her. I can’t let her die.” Sylas said. The kids stayed silent as Sylas walked up to the terminal and activated it. The terminal sparked on and a holographic screen shot up above showing a dozen different commands, items to abstract, and a list of people and animals alike. He immediately pressed on items and touched the terminal button again to press the item menu. But a message popped up immediately as he touched it with a soft robotic voice reading it off.
“Injury to right hand: Fracture to the third Metacarpal, Several lacerations, and blood loss. Do you wish to heal?” The voice said,
“What?”
“Do you wish to rapidly heal from your wounds?” The voice said again, but Sylas ran over to Erica and tried to lift her before yelling out in pain with his hand.
“I need help!!” Sylas yelled to the children and all of them ran over and helped Sylas lift her.
“Get her to the terminal quickly!!” Sylas said as he helped as much as he could carry her over to the terminal. He put her hand on the terminal along with his hand.
“Two lifeforms detected. Injuries to Lifeform One: Critical, broken breastplate bone, sliced trachea, 2 sliced bronchus, lungs collapsed, major lacerations-” “Heal, I wish to HEAL NOW.” Sylas said cutting off the robot.
“Healing command confirmed, activating now. Please remove all foreign objects from wounds.” The voice said, and Sylas did so. Removing the blade from Wrica’s chest. Instantly Sylas felt his one hand get very warm. He lifted it and saw it healing before his very eyes. A progress timer dinged and Sylas’s hand was completely healed.
“Lifeforms One and Two fully healed. Lifeform One status: Will be unconscious for 5 minutes then will be fully recovered. Lifeform Two status: Fully recovered… Cooldown until next healing: 59 hours.” The voice said before the terminal shut down. Sylas let out a huge sigh of relief as tears ran down his face.
“Thank You… Thank you!!” He whispered.
“What are we going to do now?” Sunhigh asked, Sylas nodded his head. He wasn’t sure, he looked at the terminal and pressed the button for items and saw they had 25 Tek items remaining to abstract in. An idea formed in Sylas's mind and he had a smile grow on his face.
“How would you all like to become Iron Man?” Sylas said, the kids looked at him in confusion.
“Who?” Jay asked.
~
Captain Shortstacks and Freya were clashing up on the stairway up to the hallway to the bedrooms. What had started with Shortstacks on the offensive and having the high-ground advantage made him think he was going to win, but it had quickly become apparent that he would lose this fight. He was now on the defensive and Freya was pushing him further and further up towards the hallway. He was doing his best but yet she was besting him with her hatchets. ‘Hatchets of all things, I should have easily won this match, but… she was better than me.’ Francis thought as sweat poured down all over him from fear and exhaustion as this fight went on into the hall. Then he noticed that she wasn’t sweating not even a bead of sweat on her face. And she was wearing fur. He had enough.
“Enough of this!!” He shouted as he tried to block an incoming duel chop, only for his sword to break cleanly into three pieces and fall on the floor.
He down at the pieces of sword on the ground and looked back up at Freya who was in front of him with her two Tek hatchets in hand.
“Do you yield?” Freya stated, Shortstacks was shocked that she cut his sword into three pieces. He looked at her hatchets which were made of ancient Tek. He had heard stories of the weapons and their magical-like properties.
‘That’s it!! If I have her drop the hatchets. I can surely beat her then!!’ He thought to himself, “Do you yield?” Freya stated again, snapping Shortstacks out of his thought and he looked up at her.
“No, but I would like to challenge you to a fair Captains fight in hand to hand.” Shortstacks stated, Freya seemed to quickly perk up hearing this.
“A captain’s fight? So you’re Captain Hugo?” Freya asked,
“You know who I am?”
“You… can say that. Challenge accepted.” Freya said as she dropped the hatchets on the ground. Captain Shortstacks began laughing as he unsheathed a dagger from his belt.
“You really aren’t that smart. You really thought I was going to play fair with you?” Shortstacks said in a mocking tone, but all Freya did was smile and chuckle. She didn’t even seem to acknowledge that he played her into a bad situation.
“Ah, this is going to be fun!” Freya said smiling. Shortstacks gritted his teeth as both readied for fighting, him raising his dagger and Freya raising her fists. Shortstacks swung the dagger at Freya and she dodged the blade, but not nearly as fast as that dirty rebel before. But something felt off with it, which made Shortstacks all the angrier. He continued slashing at her with the dagger only for her to barely dodge it. But the expression on her face made it look like she wasn’t trying or even worried.
He was slowly losing his cool. ‘why wasn’t she worried, why was she acting like this was all a game!!’ He thought,
His anger slowly got to him as he was slashing the blade at her and he thrusted the blade at her. Only for her to grab his hand and wrist a quickly move them up to her head height. Fear struck him as he looked up at her face, her eyes serious and her face no longer in a pleasant mood.
“Uh, enough fun for today. Don’t you agree?” She said as she made a quick move with her hand, and Shortstack heard the sound of his bones snapping in his wrist and hand and the dagger dropping onto the floor. Her grip tightened and again he heard more bones in his hand break to the pressure.
He started reacting to the pain in his hand and wrist when in a flash he was yanked forward towards her and he was kneed in the face at an incredible force and speed. He felt her grip again only this time around his arm as a powerful force hit him in the face which could only be described as a large steel ball hitting the side of his face but he knew it was her fist. Her grip disappeared only for the same hit from the other side. He could barely stand at this point and then he felt what he thought was a large metal pipe clash against the side of his head and him falling to the ground that he could only imagine being her arm. All those hits came in less than five total seconds. His vision was blurry and voices echoing but able to see a figure standing up above him. Her… she rolled him on his back and grabbed his arm and put her foot on his chest and she yanked hard on his arm to hear a loud pop as his shoulder popped out of its joint. At this point though all the pain was throbbing at the same time and couldn’t tell what hurt the worst. The woman grabbed him by the same arm and lifted him completely off the ground. This pain was excruciating but all he could let out was a groan. His eyes came up to the same height as hers.
His vision slowly came back only to see her face, her face stone cold and stern. Her eyes filled with anger as though she could kill him right there and now but also had restraint as though she didn’t want to do it. Which only made it more terrifying.
“Call this first time mercy. I could’ve crushed your skull in with my knee if I really wanted you dead.” She said, “If you ever mess up or hurt my friends again. I will tear your arms off and beat in your skull with your open hands. Do you understand?” She said. He did his best to nod, blood began dripping from his nose and lips.
“Good. Now, rest.” She said as she let go of him and kicked him across the hallway. He landed about ten feet away and went unconscious.
Freya walked over to him and checked his pulse, something she had learned from Paul a long time ago. He still had a good pulse, rapid but strong. She didn’t want to kill him, just punish him hard for what he did to Neddy and Sylas. Beating up a kid and an impossibly peaceful pillow man was not right by any means. She got up and looked down at him cracking her knuckles.
“Honestly thought you were gonna be a better fighter. Wish you were better so I could practice closer to my standards. But you were good enough for the moment.” She said to his unconscious body. A rumbling came from outside and she heard the sound of fighting. She went and grabbed her hatchets off the ground and then grabbed Shortstacks by the ankle. She dragged him into a dark, cold damp room that looked oddly like a cave. She walked out of it and locked the door from the outside.
“Now time to fight some real foes…”
~
Andrew, Tago, Darkhide, and Emerald stood over the King Titan as he lay on his back. Andrew aimed his bow at the King Titan’s head with a blue arrow bolt of pure energy.
“Surrender. I don’t want to hurt you more or worse.” Andrew stated, the King Titan smiled as he started getting himself off the ground.
“You think I, am going to surrender to you? After only you hitting me with a small amount of fire and tripping me over. If that is your best, it was lousy.” The King Titan said, “Lousy as you were in that building back at our home, no wonder your odd beast died under your watch to a few of my legionnaires. If you want me to surrender. You’re gonna have to kill me.” The King Titan continued smugly as he adjusted himself to get off the ground to his knelt position,
Andrew pulled back the bow slowly, with the arrow bolt disappearing. He lowered his head and clenched his fist hard. He heard the voices of Tago and the others calling his name. But all his thoughts, all his memories. The only thing he could remember was Reuben. He looked back up at the King Titan with anger and rage.
“I may prefer that you would surrender and that I won’t take a human life. But you aren’t human and you won’t surrender, so what other choice do I have.” He drew back the bow hard and let it go and did it a second time. Two Arrow Bolts flew at the King Titan's head and hit. Absorbing into his body, yet it did nothing. All the King Titan did was smile as he stood up. Andrew drew the bow back once more and let go and a bolt hit the Titan in the head only to do the same thing.
“Oh no, I feel something. It happening to me. No!!” The King Titan said before bellowing out in laughter, mocking laughter. “You thought you could kill ME with Element energy?! You utterly simple-minded, emotionally unstable person. I AM ELEMENT. And now you shall die like your beast” The King Titan continued as he raised his fist in the air and it glowed magenta. And he bellowed with a thunderous roar, making everyone near him put their hands, talons, and wings over their ears. Andrew felt like a fool and a failure, he took his hands off of his ears hearing the roar at full force as he switched the arrow types to explosive. He quickly ran to Tago to try to get her attention.
“TAGO!! I need you to hit him with your Fire!!!” Andrew yelled, but he could barely hear himself, he doubted she heard him. He turned around and drew his bow again and fired a shot at the head of the King Titan again. This time it hit and a good explosion happened in his face. Knocking the King Titan down to the ground and shutting him up from his roar.
“YOU COULDN’T HAVE DONE THAT BEFORE!!” Darkhide yelled,
“I wasn’t thinking earlier.” Andrew said,
“WHAT?” Emerald yelled.
“He said something about iced tea with a Girly!! What is that Supposed to Mean!!” Darkhide yelled.
Then another thunderous explosion came from the sky. The four looked up to the sky to see meteors falling from the sky and heading towards their part of the city. Andrew darted his eyes toward where the King Titan was, but he was no longer there. He disappeared and somehow summoned a meteor shower.
“Run!!” Andrew shouted, but none of them heard exactly what he said. But none needed a hint to what he said.
Immediately they all started running for cover in any direction. Andrew was running to a concrete building.
“Andrew…” a voice called out to him. Andrew stopped and looked around only to see nothing there.
“Andrew, the Dagger. Find the dagger. Become a Herald of Light. For the Herald of Darkness is coming!!” The voice said, Andrew stood there unsure of what it meant. Herald of Light? The voice wanted him to become a leader of light and fight a leader of darkness? He couldn’t control his own emotions and pain, how could he be a leader for good? He didn’t want to even be a leader for everyone here after this. He felt like a failure to this group and to the others here and was easily manipulated by his pain and emotions in every direction.
A crash of a meteor blast caused a sonic blast behind him and made Andrew fly into the air and land on his back. He felt dazed and his foot got stuck in rubble. He sat up and tried to get his foot unstuck but the rubble was too heavy for him to lift alone. He looked around and found himself alone.
He looked up to see the sky go red and the moon turn into a blood moon. He also saw up in the distant sky, a meteor coming down directly towards him. He didn’t think he had a chance, not by himself to get this rubble off. This would be the end for him. But he was okay with it. He accepted his death, he was surprised he lived 12 years alone with Reuben, and now that he has finally found people who lived and breathed. He was happy with his life, he was no longer the last and was happy with it.
“See you soon Reu-” Andrew gasped as he was grabbed from behind by something, his foot got free and he was lifted into the air.
“Don’t worry, I got you Andrew. You’re safe now.” Tago said as she flew as far away from the meteor strike. Andrew looked back to see the meteor crash directly where they were just a moment ago. His head began throbbing and his body began to ache as his adrenaline began to drop.
“Andrew… The Dagger, get the dagger. For the Herald of Darkness has arrived and Fate is no longer balanced.” The voice said, Andrew grabbed his hair in agony. He wished this nightmare would stop for him. And he passed out.
The Omega Timeline
Chapter 41: Whatever the cost..
—By SunnyFox57
“Ugh why won’t she come with me!! She wants me!! She NEEDS me!!” Michael snorted inwardly. The strange teenager, young adult actually he was older than Michael, was facing Michael, a nasty smirk on his face. “He looks like some kind of hobo..” Michael thought to himself.
“It’s really you..” The “hobo” said. Michael raised his head haughtily and looked down his nose at him. “And WHO are you supposed to be?” Michael asked boldly. The man steeped forward, his face twisting with revulsion.
“Pretending you don’t know me? After what you did?!” The man sneered, spittle flying at Michael’s face. Michael wrinkled his nose at the guy.
“Bro I have never seen the likes of you dirty scum in my whole life, in fact in MY world we’d give someone as low as you a hanging for just talking to me. Now leave I must take my girlfriend to safety.” Emma glared at him.
Ben clenched his fists in anger and suddenly charged at Michael.
~
Jethezzar the wyvern faced Bear. Bear stood on his hind legs and narrowed his eyes, trying to be menacing, at Jethezzar. “If you want her, you’re going to have to go through…uhhh…me!!!” Bear bellowed proudly. Jethezzar seemed frozen in midair, motionless. He didn’t even blink, but seemed lost in thought. Bear sucked his chest in, let out a “fearsome” howl and lunged and the large wyvern. He latched unto Jethezzar’s wing and but down hard.
Jethezzar suddenly whirled, hurling Bear through the air and back to the ground. The wyvern flew as fast as possible away, refusing to look back and dodging any incoming attacks his way. Bear got to his feet and grinned widely.
“Ha! No one can beat me!! Even the mighty Jethezzar is afraid of my might!!” Sunny whimpered on the ground. Bear turned to the small fox gently. “Fox girl? Uhhh you okay buddy?” He asked.
~
Sunny lay on in the ground, her tails wrapped around her, trying to shut out all noise. It didn’t help much, she could still hear the screaming and chaos, whether in her head or not.
Why did it hurt so much? The words of people she didn’t even know but somehow recognized? She had voices, memories, and other things that she didn’t even remember.
A tear dribbled down her small snout and she clenched her eyes shut, letting herself become overwhelmed by the voices in her head.
“Why are we here?”
“Ha ha looks like I scared you! Don’t worry, I was just grabbing fertilizer for the crop to grow!”
“I just wanted to let you know, I’m proud of you…”
“Ben, do you ever regret not finishing your story?”
“Sunny?”
“Sunny?”
“Sunny?”
“What kind of name is Sunny?”
“I forgot! My friends call me Sunny. My name is Sunny!”
“Sunny is a great name! What else name would I want? Human names are the worst..”
“Help me…please…somebody help me..”
“I don’t know how much longer I can hold on..”
“I thought you would be there when I need you most..”
“I didn’t mean to..”
“You think we’re happy don’t you? Don’t you remember what you’ve done to us?”
“Can’t you see she’s playing with our lives?! She’s the reason for this!!!!”
“Kill.”
“Kill.”
“Kill.”
Sunny swam in voices and memories looking for a anchor, for something to hold unto. But there was nothing. “Do you just hate me?!” A voice rang. “Well I-I h-hate you too!”
Tears dripped down Sunny’s face and she sobbed. Suddenly a comforting touch hit her. She stopped shivering and lifted her face, a beam of sunlight bounced on her fur.
“I never really told you why I stopped working on my story, did I?” A familiar yet not voice asked. “No you never did.” A voice that sounded like hers responded. “I never finished my story because I….I..”
Sunny sat up breathing hard, she was being held up. The words still rang through her ears but she didn’t understand them. A black snout sniffed her closely. “Eww Bear stop it!!! I’m fine!!!” Sunny squeaked.
Bear grinned. “Sorry.” He said in his deep bear voice. Sunny jumped out of his claws and swished her tails. “Well…come on! Let’s get these bad guys!! It’ll be fun!!” Bear bellowed. Sunny wrinkled her nose at him.
“Okay…you’re one strange naïve bear..”
~
Michael let out a piglike squeal and tried to leap out of the way as Ben charged at him. “Hey!! I’m gonna have you hanged for that!! Michael yelled, leaping at Ben. But instead of tackling Ben, Ben stepped aside at Michael hit the dirt. “Ow!! I have a scar now!!” Michael wailed, holding up his elbow for them to see. (In reality it was a tiny cut about the size of a ant.)
Ben sneered at him and lunged again at Michael this time catching him in a headlock and help him there.
“You’re going to pay for what you did. Too me. And to everyone else..” Ben growled into his enemy’s ear. Michael gasped for air, his face turning purple from the lack of oxygen. “I. Don’t. Know. You.” Michael coughed. Emma, Neddy, and Ruby watched with wide eyes as Ben choked Michael.
“Bro calm down!! No need to kill anyone!” Neddy yelped. Michael’s eyes fluttered as he struggled to remain conscious and alive.
Suddenly a loud thud commenced from behind Ben and Ben fell forward on top of Michael. Lil Jack stood behind them, having just dropped a large rock on top of Ben’s head.
Michael struggled to get up from underneath Ben. Emma rolled her eyes, tossed her hair, and trotted over to Michael, holding out her hand. “Here let me help you.” She said sweetly. Michael gave her a toothless grin and she yanked him to his feet, pulling him out from under Ben. “Thanks Em-ahhh!!” Suddenly Emma reared back her fist and smacked Michael in the side of the face.
He went flying. Lil Jack yelped in fear and whirled around, as if trying to run away. “Get him!!” Ruby yelled and she and Neddy charged at him. Emma went and stood over Michael, putting one foot on his back. Michael groaned in pain. “Why-why did you do that?” He asked.
Emma looked down at him, like he was a nasty bug on her window. “Because you’re nothing to me. And you are trying to hurt my friends. Find yourself someone else, weirdo!” She said, then promptly knocked him out.
Neddy and Ruby walked back up, dragging Lil Jack’s unconscious body over. Ruby wiped dirt of her shirt. “What do we do with them? And Ben?” Emma asked, motioning around. Neddy pushed up his glasses and motioned to Michael and Lil Jack. “I might have a good idea what to do with them..”

Chapter 53: Outbreak
–By Moon
This world was crazy. Jethezzar was surprised that no one he’d met had yet to admit that. Beyond the city as they flew, dozens of different Obelisks floated faraway, high in the sky, above their territories with the likes that Zeer and Jethezzar had never seen before.
In Jethezzars mind, however, nothing was more crazy than the obnoxious mottled Ice Wyvern soaring beside him.
Zeer couldn't hold still, even in flight. Her tail kept flicking and her spikes clattered against each other as she tossed her head, and she wouldn't stay quiet for more than five minutes before she'd have something else to say, something about him to observe or a comment about his personality to make. He could feel her brain stirring and her gaze burning into him. He tried to ignore her.
As expected, she glided as close as dragonly possible to his side and thwipped her tail towards the rune he held in the claws of his beating wing. “So what's that supposed to be?” She asked curiously.
“Stop asking me questions,” Jethezzar said.
“I’m not a hatchling, you know,” Zeer said to him. “I’m just interested, Mister Panic Attack.”
“Well you don’t act like an adult,” Jethezzar observed to her.
“Haha, you're one to talk!” Zeer yelled happily.
“Shut up!”
“Wow, you're a lot like Gull,” Zeer said with an exasperated and amused tone to her voice. (Jethezzar wasn't sure what to answer with, he didn't even know who this ‘Gull’ was.) “A lot weirder, though. You get angrier and he’s much more mature. He’s not scary at all. Not traumatized.”
Jethezzar didn't know if Zeer would ever be quiet at this point. She seemed to take joy in every little detail of Jethezzar. She doesn't know the half of me, he hissed inwardly.
He thought back to after they had met not long ago, and the question he had asked her, only to get it answered with yet another question.
“You know Pandora?”
“Um, no,” he had replied. Zeer had lifted into the air after that, and when he followed she was laughing loudly. “You're lucky then.”
The light of humor in her eyes had then slowly shifted to fury, though her smile didn’t fade. He hadn't been able to get anything else out of her, only the fact that she was from an epic place (That wasn’t destroyed) called Vardiland and had a best friend named Nor who she enjoyed very much. Once again, an almost scared and rageful expression. She seemed to have as many mysteries as Jethezzar did.
They continued flying, going towards a dull green colored Obelisk that glowed brightly in the middle of a wondrous forest landscape. Zeer glided beside it, gazing at her reflection with a look of surprise and puzzlement that Jethezzar didn’t understand.
“We don't have an Obelisk this color, do we?” Zeer asked. He shook his head and she swooped down towards the ground. He didn't have time to ask after her and in seconds she was on the ground platform and looking around curiously at the terminal.
Jethezzar followed her. The Obelisk was huge and beautiful. It gave him memories of flying around the red Obelisk of his home. He couldn't smile in front of Zeer, but he did huff quietly.
“I think these things might be able to bring us back,” Zeer said, circling around the terminal. “Right? I'm not sure.”
“I don't know either. They have a lot of abilities on Fjordur. But this isn't Fjordur. They even look different.”
“Well, we're trying anyway!” Zeer exclaimed happily. “What could go wrong?” (I had to guys)
“Have you thought that maybe I don't quite want to go back?” Jethezzar asked her. She glanced at him and he continued, “This place has a lot of new things we’ve never seen before. We could find somewhere else to go. I don't have… Problems, here.”
“Well, I do.” Zeer said. “I've got things to deal with and a brother to help. Not that I care about him, but whatever.” She went deep in thought, clicking her tail spikes against the ground and tapping her claws. “I came from a black Obelisk. Hopefully this one won't be any different.”
“Wait, a black one?”
“Yep, I found myself there with a bunch of scary things staring at me. I flew off before they could flay me alive and searched for the first Wyvern I could find. Haha.”
And that was me, Jethezzar thought. So the team chose her. That means she must not be so much of a good Wyvern.
He decided not to tell her that he also came from that Obelisk.
Zeer was fiddling with the thing in the middle of the terminal, hitting it with her wing once and then deciding to give up. “Take me home!” She demanded.
Jethezzar was watching her, wanting to help but not sure how to. He began to walk over when he heard a voice from a ways behind him.
“You strangers here?”
Both he and Zeer turned around in puzzlement, and he spotted a feathered creature walking on two legs towards them. It was light blue and lavender with speckled markings across its body and had oddly small half-feathered, half-scaled wings.
“What in the world is that?” Zeer was muttering.
Jethezzar stood in place, his yellow eyes blinking. “Hello,” he greeted, glancing at Zeer and then back at the creature. “Who– what are you?”
“A Yi Ling,” The creature replied in a light feminine voice. She had light blue eyes and a narrow head that ended in a sharp beak with several little fangs. “My name's Omi. You’re Wyverns?”
“Yup,” Zeer said before Jethezzar could answer himself. “I’m Zeer. And to answer your first question, yeah. We aren’t supposed to be here. We’re finding a way home.”
“Your home?” The Yi Ling asked, almost intriguingly. “You’re like the new others everyone’s been talking about? You came from a different world?”
“Yes… and you live here?” Jethezzar asked her. “You’re from here?”
“Not this territory, no,” Omi replied. “A bit of a way away. I’m traveling.”
“You must know about these Obelisk’s,” Zeer said. “Right?”
“Uh, a bit!” Omi said. “You need help?”
“Is it obvious?” Zeer asked almost sarcastically as the Yi Ling padded past Jethezzar and towards the terminal. Jethezzar walked over in suit with her. A small gust of air whistled by and buffeted against Omi’s fluffy body, though she (And Zeer) didn’t seem to mind. Jethezzar shivered outwardly in the cold.
“Hm, we need to find some type of transportation mode to activate,” Omi said, standing over the terminal.
“I don’t understand a word you just said.” Zeer said flatly.
“Can I try?” Jethezzar asked from beside the Yi Ling.
Together they tried getting it to work, Jethezzar doing exactly what he had learned at the Black Obelisk and hoping to find a way to get this one to redo what it had done to bring him in, but to no avail. His tail twitched and then thumped with frustration.
Omi wasn’t finished, however. She squinted her eyes and tapped at the terminal’s screen with the edge of her wing, and several codes came up that she worked at before the screen paused, glitched, and glowed white. A strange noise came from the Obelisk above them. Zeer and Jethezzar looked up, and Omi grinned. “Woo! I think I did it!”
“Yes!” Zeer said with a smile, still staring up as the Obelisk began to brighten.
A glowing, pretty white light pulsed through the green of the Obelisk in a downward falling motion. It shifted through, down the bottom of the Obelisk and into the terminal. A white energy bloomed throughout the metallic floor they stood on and then vanished, the three creatures watching it with wide eyes.
“What’s going on?” Zeer asked.
They stood there, waiting to see if Zeer and Jethezzar would disappear.
“It–” Jethezzar said.
“It’s not working,” Zeer said. “Why’s it not working?”
“Maybe I didn’t do it right,” Omi said. “Alright, we can always try again! Let me see.”
Something small and thin broke slowly from the soft ground below the platform.
A glowing white shape slid out from the earth and climbed up to the edge of the metal surface. Zeer and Jethezzar had their backs turned, watching Omi as she faced the terminal.
“Don’t worry, I’ve got it,” Omi assured them.
The tendril slipped across the platform towards the three creatures. It moved like a blind snake, dragging slowly but smoothly forward in innocent silence.
Jethezzar was the first to look down. He took a step back in surprise, bumping into Zeer. “What is that?” He asked.
Omi and Zeer looked down as well, and the three watched the small thing slither between them. It hit the terminal softly and then wrapped up and around it. They watched it in curiosity and confusion.
The head of the vine lifted up and seemed to be looking blindly around the terminal. Jethezzar felt the want to touch it.
The vine turned and stared without seeing at the three creatures. The glow of the Obelisk seemed to darken, and the tendrils glowing, pulsing white color was rather beautiful in the dim light of the forest.
Then there was a dropping feeling in his stomach as the vine burst forward at a sudden speed, stretching out towards them like an arrow. Jethezzar flinched back in fear, his eyes slamming closed.
Stab!
The jungle went oddly silent. Jethezzar opened his eyes and looked down. The thing had not touched him. Zeer gasped quietly and her eyes widened, and as he looked at her she was markless as well.
“Oh…”
The word came from Omi.
He whirled his head to the other side of him and saw the white vine rigid and stiff from where it had lunged from the terminal. And the colorful Yi Ling stood there, with the end of it shot straight into her heart.
“...That’s not good,” Omi murmured.
“Oh my gosh,” Zeer whispered.
The vine’s radiation went dark. Omi stepped back and the vine broke in half from its place at the terminal, the last of its light spreading through and going into Omi’s chest. Her pupils were shrunken with fear and she watched as the tendril then shriveled and died, turning into hardened ash that crumbled and fell onto the ground.
The end of the tendril was absorbed into Omi’s chest. Then Omi’s eyes widened, fading from blue to a bleached glowing white. Her feathers dulled, the colors being sucked away.
Jethezzar and Zeer both watched, frozen.
Omi’s head then turned their way. Her eyes locked onto them without a sound or sign of emotion, and her body straightened slowly, her wings unfolding and her claws scraping on the ground.
She then opened her mouth and lunged towards them.
Zeer shrieked and grabbed onto Jethezzar and he spread his wings in fear as the Yi Ling attacked. Zeer knocked him over and what appeared to no longer be Omi missed them by a scale, and the two Wyvern’s scrambled back and got to their wings and talons before taking off towards the trees of the jungle. The Yi Ling jumped high and snapped at the air where Jethezzars tail had just been.
“Shoot, shoot, shoot shoot shoot–” Jethezzar roared as they flew up.
Below them, the corrupted Omi screeched loudly at the sky. Her white eyes flashed and she looked over at the terminal before walking away, off the platform and into the dark forest.
The terminal pulsed lowly, almost happily. The first infected had been made.

Chapter 51: Planning

“Right. Someone untie them. We need better forces, if we want to rid this world of the real Villains.” Ember said. No one moved. Ember glared. He then walked over and started slashing the rope. Michael dropped to the ground. “I’ve got a save Emma. Everyone! We will direct all of our forces to save her. Send your best men! We shall hang those meanies for what they’ve done to Emma!” Michael declared. Jerry scoffed. “Okay everyone let’s do what King TinyMan says!” Ember said sourly. “Really?” Michael asked. “NO! Your not the leader here. Actually, we don’t really have a designated leader yet!” Ember said. Shortstacks walked forward. “I say we regroup, then launch another full force attack. Except this time, we go for their obelisk. Take out their precious heals, and base. We could end it now. We just need to get word out to the rest of us.” Hugo commented. “So do we all agree on my idea?” Hugo questioned. “We shall see.” Pat said. Apex stirred. He jerked up. “Where am I?” He growled. “Black Obelisk. Again.” King Titan rumbled. “I personally think that’s a great idea. They will be drained of strength, and out of recourses! Then we can slaughter them when they are weakest!” Ember said. “We shall see, we need all of our recruits though. That may take a while to find them. Especially in that big city. We must decide as a group, a council if you will. That sounds much better, The Council, Of Villains…” Prince Caldren announced.
Steve looked around the battlefield. The villains had vanished. “They must have recalled them!” Steve said. He ran up to Yang who was talking with Skyocean. “Yang! The villains at the Black floaty thing must have recalled all there forces. They are regrouping.” Steve yelped. “How do you know?” Skyocean asked. “Is your power Forsight or something?” He questioned. “No he just says stuff and it happens. It’s almost like… Nature listens to him and obeys… it’s creepy. It’s either that or he’s just crazy.” Yang whispered. Skyocean looked closely at Steve. He looked like any ordinary squirrel except for the face that his eyes looked like human eyes instead of just completely black. “Never mind how I know. We need to regroup to… they may target our recourses.” Steve said as he hopped on Sheeri’s back. “ONWARD MY FAITHFUL STEED!” Steve cried. “Get. Off.” She said. He quickly hopped off and hopped on Yang’s shoulder. “To the mansion!” Yang said. Sheeri launched herself into the air. She snatched Skyocean and yeeted her up onto her back. Yang stared. “That was slightly horrific..” Buddy commented. Steve shrugged. “Let’s move!” Buddy barked. They all headed towards the Mansion. Skyocean and Sheeri in the sky, while the others ran on the ground.
Nova flew down from the sky. She landed on the roof. “Where did they go?” Freya questioned. Drake hopped down. “They must have teleported somehow.” Drake commented. “How? As far as I know, the only way to teleport is with a Teleportation Platform. Which they obviously didn’t have one under them.” Freya muttered. “A what now?” Drake asked. “Doesn’t matter. We need to rest up. If they attack again, we won’t be ready.” Freya responded. The three moved towards the white obelisk. As soon as they entered they came upon a weird sight. Sylas, Sunhigh, Moonhigh, Jack, Jay, and Star, were standing in the terminal room, they seemed to be wearing tek armor, all except for two of the kids and Sylas, who was in the process of spray painting his armor. Jack and Jay were holding their breath. Jack looked ready to burst, his face was a dark shade of pink. “There! Finally done, guys.” Sylas grinned as he showed them his newly painted armor. He looked at Jack and Jay. “Um… did I mention the fumes are non-toxic?” Sylas asked. “WHAT?” Jack said as he coughed. “Ha! You breathed first, I win.” Jay smirked. “Wait, it was a contest?” Jack asked. “Yeah dude, everything is.” Jay commented. Sylas shrugged and stepped into his armor. It activated immediately. “Okay, you kids ready?” Sylas asked. “Yup.” Jay said. Jack charged the Tek rifle. Sylas turned towards the door and spotted Freya and the others.

The Omega Timeline
Chapter 5:
-By Wyvernain
The four creatures (and their unconscious dead weight) made it to the mansion, they landed in the backyard, which was a small forest with basically an entire summer camp and rich backyard on it, it had an obstacle course, a zipline, an Olympic sized swimming pool, a trampoline, and even a mini golf course. The creatures didn’t know what half of the things they were looking at were, but they knew they liked what they saw. Everything was a bit too small for them but also a bit too big for humans. They were gawking at all the nice things when a human teen walked out of the backdoor with a dodo on his shoulder. He saw them and stared wide eyed, Sheeri, the boy, and his dodo screamed (or squawked.) the others were scared but not really as much of a screamer as Sheeri, especially when it was just a tiny human. The boy ran back inside the huge backdoor. “Was.. that a-” Sheeri said. “Yup..” Nova said. “What do we do with it? Should we eat it?” Darkhide asked. Emerald smacked him in the back of the head. “No we shouldn’t eat him! What is wrong with you..” she said. He shrugged. “I’m goin in.” Nova said. “Wait! Nova! it could be dangerous! What if they have… S p e a r s…” Sheeri said. “If that’s the worst human weapon you can think of you haven’t seen anything..” Emerald said. “He looked scared, I’m gonna go see what’s up. we need answers.” Nova said walking towards the huge backdoor (well huge for humans, a bit small for them.)
“Hello? Little human?” Nova said. “Dodo?” She said after a pause. She searched the house, it was massive, and incredibly deceiving, it was much larger on the inside than the outside… the others came inside after her, Emerald first, then Darkhide said, “why not.” And went in. And Sheeri didn’t want to be left outside alone. Darkhide put Drain down on a couch, he was still frozen. “Where did he get off to?” Nova asked. Sheeri found the kitchen and was exploring the ingredients, she found lots of stuff she didn’t understand, nothing was brand named or of brand, no brands at all just glass jars with human words and the omega symbol, but it was very normal ingredients, peanut butter, an assortment of cheeses, bread, meat, etc. what Sheeri really didn’t understand was the little bottles full of what looked to her like sand, she knew about honey an ice cacao and other ingredients they had back on her home but she’d never seen seasonings, she wondered what they were for and took a bottle of black sand, she opened it and sniffed the contents, she sneezed repeatedly and accidentally spat ice all over the counter, she roared a bit, and when she did she heard a noise. She put down the pepper and opened the cabinet under the sink, inside she saw two humans and a dodo, they were a bit crammed but like I said everything was a bit too large for them. “G—guys.. I think I found the humans…” she said. “The dragon can talk?!” Aurora said stunned. Star squawked in disbelief with wide eyes. “Uh hello?” Samuel said. “Uh hi?” Sheeri said. Yeh others ran over to the kitchen, everyone was talking at once, “are you gonna eat us?!” Samuel asked. “They said no..” Darkhide said. “Why are you here? Did you do this to us!” Emerald demanded. “No we got here just a few hours ago!” Aurora said. “Why can’t the dodo talk!?” Nova asked. Star squawked and made a kind of shrug.
Then to confuse everything even more, two more teens walked in the front door followed by people who if you had to guess you’d say they were pirates, the man pirate looked scared and pushed his family behind him and the teens ran up the stairs screamed. “WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!” Multiple voices said at once.

Chapter 49: regroup
—By Wyvernian
“This world will be mine!” Drain shouted, his voice sounding demonic and confident. But then he felt pain throughout his body, a stinging feeling that burned like acid. He shrieked in pain, “aghh! The transformation is not yet complete!” He yelled. He flew away towards the north.
“So, how’s it feel to be nameless?” Nova asked in between ice blasts. “You know nothing of being a guardian! Living your entire meaningless life just to be slayed! I have no name, I am only suffering!” Fjordur’s dragon yelled furiously. “Hmm let’s brainstorm, how about scaly?” “No!” “Rex?” “NO!” “Hmm maybe… Willy?” “What?! NO!” The dragon said before fireblasting. “How about unconscious!” Drake said before shooting quills at him in thorny dragon form. The dragon tried to block the quills with his arm, but they all penetrated his scaly hide, he looked at his pincushion arm then groaned, his eyes rolling up and he plummeted down onto the sturdy roof of the mansion. “Nice work!” Nova said. “No problem..” Drake said still a little sore from the fight. “You both alright up there?” Freya called from below. “Yup, but what are we gonna do with all these villains?” Nova pondered. Just then the dragon and shortstacks both vanished. “Where did they go?!” Freya said.
The same thing happened around the city, Just as Sheeri, Buddy, Skyocean, Yang and Steve were about to fight Pat he vanished, they looked over to the block of ice to see Jerry gone as well, and Apex’s unconscious body was missing too. Sig vanished out from under the creatures holding her down, Lil Jack and Michael disappeared, though June was still there arguing with the others over Ben, who was not pleased. “STOP! Where did those two idiots go?” Ben said, the others looked around confused. Caldren disappeared too, leaving a huge hole in the building, but Felswand was still there.

Rockwell’s arm had mutated away, he was not pleased to say the least. “Damn! Well, experiment 01 was a fail. Oh well, the others tell me that we are all from different universes, I always scoffed at the multiverse theory, but if they are correct perhaps I can use the sciences of their worlds to my advantage, that Doctor Bubba somehow concocted a serum capable of transforming the subject into any creature at will! Incredible! If I could get even a vial of this serum and mix it with my Edmundium formula, I would be truly unstoppable. But how can I get my hands on his research…” Rockwell had gotten quite good at writing his notes with one arm, but it was still difficult.
Milo and Ember were sitting idly in the throne room, “why have none of them returned.” Milo asked rhetorically. “Probably because they lost, the fights were not going well, that’s why I dipped.” Ember said. “Coward!” Milo shouted. “Says the guy who didn’t come at all because he’s mortal now…” Ember said with a chuckle. “Shut up!” Milo shouted. Just then the door opened, it was the King Titan. “The battle is lost, we must regroup. But the heroes have captured most of our forces.” He said. “So, leave them. Who needs em.” Ember said. “Ember, remember when us humans fought those people while you hid in the trees?” Milo asked. “Yes, I do recall this, but we weren’t “hiding” we were testing you.” Ember said. Milo rolled his eyes and continued, “well, right when they were almost defeated they all vanished. I assume this had to do with their friends tampering with their obelisk. Perhaps we could do the same.” “Onward then, to the black obelisk.” The Titan said. They marched down to the obelisk cave, passed the still broken Samuel. “Pathetic.” King Titan said. They figured out how to achieve their goal, all the defeated villains returned, except June, Zeer, Jethezzar, Drain, and Felswand. “Where are the others?” Ember asked. “Perhaps they have betrayed us..” King Titan said. “Not the bat, guy did some crazy witchcraft and almost killed that big iguana over there, I think he’s just leveled up.” Jerry said. This was the first time many of them heard him speak. “Helllllooo! CAN SOMEONE UNTIE US!” Michael yelled.
Drain didn’t know why he flew north, only that he felt called there. The voice was gone but the urge he felt from the dagger still drove him. He flew passed the green and gold trees around the city and reached a strange place that seemed to be made of someone’s guts. “It smells familiar..” Drain said to himself. As a desmodus he had a great sense of smell, but he didn’t piece this place and Rockwell together for a long time afterwards. He noticed the water in the place was abnormally purple, he guessed that perhaps there was trace amounts of element in it. Whatever the cause of the discoloration he knew a nice swim might ease his pain. He flew down to a purple lagoon and sat down in it, it was deep enough for him to drown in his old form, but now he had to almost lay down just to be almost submerged. There were definitely piranhas in the water, along with other dangers, but they knew he wasn’t to be trifled with. He sat in the pool and tried to relax, the pain eased. But eventually grew even worse, his fur began to fall out, several horns began protruding from his head, scales started to appear. By the time his transformation was complete he was more wyvern than bat.

Chapter 48: Remember —By SunnyFox57
Sunny and Bear decided( Mostly Sunny, Bear was too busy overthinking.) to head from major street to minor street where a small battle was still going on.
“Agh I’m so tired. Maybe I could stop and take a nap real quick.” Bear yawned. Sunny stopped and looked at him, flicking her tails. “What—Bear we’re in the middle of a BATTLE!!l She exclaimed, standing up on her hind legs in a attempt to seem taller.
Bear scratched his head. “We are? Oh yeah, I must have forgot. Sorry Fox Girl but when you gotta nap sometimes you have to hibernate.” Sunny stared at him, uncomprehendingly.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” She asked. Bear shrugged. “Hey, I didn’t make the saying.” He said.
Sunny shook her head and shifted her tails. “Come on. Let’s just go.” They continued on their way to minor street. Suddenly Sunny caught sight of Joe pacing back in forth in agitation, a worried look on his face.
“Hey look! There’s Joe!” Sunny called. She’d remembered his name, he’d stuck out to her as someone shy but strong when she’d saw him earlier. “Who? Oh look, there’s You’re So Stupid!” Bear exclaimed. Sunny sighed. Prince Caldren sat, stuck into a building that looked at her had rammed into it.
He was growling and pulling, trying in vain to pull himself out. Ember was gone and Lieutenant Felswand was sitting there on his knees, a vague expression on his face. “They seem to have it all covered.” Bear said.
Rage and Snake were gathered around something that Bear and Sunny couldn’t see. Joe paced back in forth, wringing his hands and hyperventilating. “You’re so stupid! What’s wrong?” Bear called. Joe looked up, tears gathering under his eyes. “The human got hurt!” He gasped out finally, struggling to breath and keep calm.
Bear and Sunny came closer to him. “How bad is it hurt?” Bear asked worriedly. “Was it stung by a bee? I heard that honey helps with that.” Joe shook his head and motioned for them to follow him.
They walked over to Rage and Snake. In front of them lay the human. Her dark brown hair lay around her face, her body was limp and her face was pale. Blood gushed from a large wound jutting from her torso. “She’s fading fast.” Rage said softly. Snake was pulling shards of glass from her scales, wincing as each piece came out.
One of the human’s hands was lying on her chest, grasping a golden heart locket tightly between her fingers. Bear sniffled and buried his snout in his paws.
Sunny pushed her way over to the human and sat down beside her. A tremendous wave of sadness suddenly washed over her but she didn’t know why. Why? She was just a human. A human she’d never seen.
It was just one human. Why did she care so much? “Aurora..”. A name. A familiar name. But she didn’t recognize it. Aurora’s breathing was a becoming more and more shallow and her eyes flickered, focused on some unknown thing in the sky.
A tear dripped down Sunny’s snout. Then another. And another. A soft humming echoed around Sunny, from a voice she’d heard before.
“Aurora..” The voice echoed. Suddenly Sunny was moving, she slid over to Aurora stepping gently onto her chest. She sat down on her haunches and swished her tails nervously.
“Aurora..” A voice called. Sunny’s head shot up. She looked around. None of the others had seemed to hear it. They had their head low in respect and sadness. “Aurora…”
“Save her.” The voice whispered. Sunny looked around. “How?” She asked quietly.
“Show her to the light. Let her remember.” The voice said. “But how? I don’t even remember.” Sunny said, slightly annoyed.
The voice laughed. “You will Sunny, you will. Show her the way. Protect her even though she didn’t protect you…” Sunny lowered her head, fixing her eyes on Aurora’s deathly pale face. “I don’t know how.”
“Show her the way..”
The humming grew louder. Sunny closed her eyes and put her paws on Aurora’s chest. “Show her..”
She lowered her face close to Aurora’s. Aurora’s face had gone still and her breathing had stopped. Aurora was dead.
“I’m sorry. For everything.” Sunny whispered. Tears began dripping rapidly down her snout and her body shook as she sobbed. “I couldn’t do it. I can’t—remember..” Sunny sobbed.
“I don’t know anymore—”
The humming sound increased but the voice had stopped. “REMEMBER..” It suddenly called. Sunny felt like she’d been struck by lightning. A hurricane of thoughts came down on her.
A beam of light suddenly shot from Aurora’s chest towards the sky.
Light surrounded Sunny and her. The other shielded their eyes. “I can’t see anything!” Snake snarled. “What’s going on?!” Joe gasped.
Sunny rose up into the air and her eyes closed then opened, revealing her bright amber eyes. “Remember..” Memories from long long ago cascaded upon her like a flood.
A smile filled Sunny’s face. “Aurora.” Sunny whispered. “Come back to us.” Sunny opened her mouth and a single pure note struck the air. Aurora’s chest vibrated. She shook. “Aurora.” Sunny called. Aurora’s eyes opened suddenly and she stared toward the sky. “Remember..”
Then Sunny fell. She crashed toward the ground. The humming stopped and the light vanished quicker than it had come. She felt exhausted, more tired than she’d ever been in her life. The last thing she saw before she fell unconscious was Aurora standing up, the wound in her chest gone. Then it all went black and Sunny was washed away into a deep heavenly sleep…with no nightmares.

Chapter 46: Red sky
—By Moon
Jethezzar was flying around the Shadowkeep, his wings beating fast and his gaze searching the ground. He wanted to be tucked back away in his room, but Milo had burst in and said that intruders had gotten in and out of the keep, and Jethezzar needed to find them before they got away.
He couldn't focus though. Even if the kids were hiding somewhere, he wouldn't have seen them. His mind went right back to the image of the bear, jumping out to protect its ally. Jethezzar had turned and fled back to the keep as quick as he could, glancing back every few seconds as if expecting the bear to somehow be following him, coming after him to finish the fight.
He forced away his scared and guilty expression.
Just then, he noticed a sudden light spread across the ground, a dim red glow. Jethezzar’s eyes widened in disarray, and a sense of Déjà vu sunk in and went through his veins, causing his blood to run cold.
He didn’t dare look up at the sky. Spiraling down back towards the ground, he landed with a thump and went up to the entrance, preparing to go inside and this time not come back out.
Then a burst of violet and black light erupted from the top of the Shadowkeep. He stopped, staring as the beam shot out and stretched down towards the midst of the city.
“What the heck…” He breathed.
He watched the beam fly down to the city, before shaking himself. Drawing his wings back up and lifting off, he flew towards the light and watched as it sunk down to where it hit and disappeared. He flapped his wings and glided down till he was at the same height as most of the buildings, and slowed down in confusion, wondering if he should go any further.
He landed on a random balcony, looking out to see if he could locate where the light had gone.
Then suddenly, a large window from beside him slid open and a creature wrapped their wings around his head, yanking him through the window. He let out a muffled screech and collapsed onto the hard floor, looking up with a hiss at his attacker.
At first he thought it was the Wyvern he had seen before, the one that was part of the enemy. But this was a different Ice Wyvern with a much more confident and furious expression and a flurry of deep blue scales on her throat and tail. She released him gently, though she still seemed to have her guard up, as did Jethezzar.
“You.” she hissed at him. “Why am I here, and what is going on? You must know. You better know!”
He rubbed his neck where her claws had grazed him and shrugged, standing up. This didn’t appear to be someone against him. “Who knows,” he admitted.
“You have to know something! What is happening and why is the moon suddenly red like that?”
He blinked, finally glancing out the window to see what she meant. Above them, the moon was huge and dull blood red, glowing high up in the scarlet sky. Jethezzar exhaled through a slightly open mouth, stepping back.
“Answer me?” The Ice Wyvern demanded questioningly.
“Um–” He turned back around but didn't look at her, his eyes fixed on the floor ahead instead as he fought himself silently. “I really don’t know.”
She growled and he inhaled and exhaled, not able to pay attention to her.
“...What are you doing?” She asked after a second, looking both bothered and concerned.
“I, uh-” He tried to find words and found himself hyperventilating, absolutely freaking out inside. “I think I’m— I’m having some sort of panic attack or something–”
She stared at him with a deadpan look, watching as he waved his folded wings up and down in a frantic motion.
She opened her mouth to speak. “A– can– hey, can you just– HEY!” She struck a blow to his head with the edge of her wing and he stopped as he was hit, his yellow eyes looking at her in startled offense.
“Calm. Down,” She said to him in an exasperated tone. “You’re a full grown freaking Wyvern, for Vardilands sake.”
“Vardiland?” He echoed.
“Don’t interrupt me! Anyway, I don’t know what your issue is, but you need to suck it up so I can understand what’s happening in this place.”
Jethezzar swallowed slowly, unreplying. She sighed. “You’re no help. Guess I’m going to go find out for myself. Ehh, and you’re coming with me.” She wrapped her tail around him and dragged him forwards, and he hissed rebelliously and tore himself away from her, then hesitated as she moved on. He groaned quietly and followed after her.
“What’s your name?” The Ice Wyvern asked, not looking back at him. “I’m Zeer, for your information.”
“Jethezzar,” He answered as Zeer squeezed out the window from before and glanced over at him.
“That’s a funny one,” She observed. “What does it mean?”
“It… It doesn’t mean anything,” He said.
“Ugh. All Wyvern names should mean something,” She said. “Mine means something fun, but you’re not finding out from me any time soon, hah!”
He watched her silently as he exited the window as well, looking sideways at the sky again and ignoring it.
Zeer most definitely didn't seem like a Wyvern from his world, or at least from the timeline he was in.
“Are you from Pandora’s time?” He chose to ask, his tail flicking.
She paused and turned her gaze back to him again, her heterochrome eyes flashing. “You know Pandora?”
~
Sig was the first to advance. She came forward and whipped her tail down towards Aragorn and Sylveevve, roaring as Sylveevee threw the element ball towards the Reaper’s face. Sig stepped back as it exploded in front of her, and her tail just barely missed them, instead flying sideways and crashing into a small shop that sent debris flying across the ground.
A few meters away, Arianna stumbled to her feet beside Moonbeam, who quickly helped her up and looked on as Sig pursued Aragorn. Orbit pulled himself up slowly from a little ways away.
There was another crash as Sylveevee shifted into a Quetzalcoatlus and attacked Sig from behind, flapping her wings and latching onto the Reaper’s back.
Aragorn skidded to a halt and planted his feet, and shadow’s morphed into view around him and the buildings. They swiftly snaked towards Sig’s back talons, wrapping around her and holding her in place. She snarled and smacked Sylveevee away, who quickly shifted back to her human form.
“Let’s go,” Moonbeam exclaimed, glancing at Arianna, who nodded and climbed on top of her. She then ran forwards and pounced towards Sig, whose eyes lit up with fury as she swiped one huge set of claws their way.
“No!” Orbit jumped from the side and pushed them out of the way, and Moonbeam landed hard on the street’s ground, claws scraping and Arianna holding onto her back tightly.
“Orbit!” Moonbeam yelled.
“I’m not losing you!” He roared from where he stood.
Moonbeam's spines bristled like a furious cat and she said back, “You won’t, you can trust me to stay safe!”
“Quit arguing!” Sylveevee said out of nowhere, stopping beside them in the form of a Shadowmane. “C’mon!”
Orbit looked at Moonbeam, a worried guilt in his eyes as Sylveevee went to attack the half-trapped Sig. Moonbeam looked over at Orbit lovingly and then shot forward alongside Sylveevee, and the two attacked Sig with quick and fierce strength. Sig let out a screeching roar, her tail lifting before being smacked down and pinned under Moonbeam’s paws. Sig snapped in frustration at the shadow’s winding around her chest, before swiveling her head Aragorn’s way, her eyes glowing.
“Let go,” She hissed in Aragorn's mind. Aragorn grinded his teeth together and felt his power waver for a moment. But he held on strongly, not daring let it slip.
Then Orbit was there, too, jumping onto Sig’s head and yanking her downwards. Her snout landed with a thump on the ground and she hissed from the impact. Sylveevee stepped and placed one paw on the Reaper Queen’s muzzle, digging her claws in. “Yield or else,” she ordered firmly.
Sig cracked a small smile, her fangs showing. “I… would… nev–”
It was then that the moon turned slowly red. Sig paused, her eyes flicking to the sky, before a dark beam of black and purple light shot from far away. It soared through the sky over their heads and Aragorn, Arriana and the Shadowmanes looked up to watch it.
“Would you look at that,” Sig murmured slyly.
~
Aurora looked up in fear and awe, the light coming from the Shadowkeep reflecting in her eyes. “What is that?” She said softly.
Moments later, as the battles of the city ensued, a dark, shadowed creature flew up and hovered high in the sky, inverted eyes staring down and giant wings beating.
“This world will be mine.”
