If you play ark survival evolved ( like me) , you cant tame them. On ark ascended you can claim their babies on the center i think

Step 1: Make Bola

Step 2:Thow it at your friend

Step 3:Runnn

Don’t bother tranqing them the only way you will survive is if you Tranq your friend (if you appease them with a sacrifice they don’t eat you immediately)

Bring a gun and a giga. That’s all :3

Bola the Yeti, then have you and/or your teammate to shoot the head with a shotgun.

Run as fast as you can when you see it, if that doesn’t work, Get on flyer and fly away, if you don’t have a flyer, well there’s only one way to say it. You’re Dead!!!

Do not tame these or claim babies. When you claim them they do not give you the prompt to even open inventory. If you cryo them you bring them home you try throwing them out. You get an error message telling you something along the lines of this creature is not deployable. It will waste the cryopod you used and you’ll have to leave it in a box till it expires out and you can put the pods back in the fridge. Overall not worth it you’ll spend 2 months waiting for those 2 cryopods to be fully usable.

Bring them out of cave and carry them with a quetzal to your base and put them in cage

I wish they were tameable... With a nerf of course.

POV: you find a yeti, man I’m dead 💀💀💀

(I don't know if this works in ark mobile or ark survival evolved, but it should work in ark survival ascended) You might think that you can't tame a yeti in ASA, but you can! Find a yeti that has a child, k!ll the parent and than go up to the baby and press imprint, which should be E on keyboard, triangle on Playstation, and Y on Xbox. Once you claim the baby yeti, it will show its maturation, an yeti icon, when it wants care, it's health, stamina, food, and weight, and it's level. But you can't access its inventory. But if you put the yeti in a cryopod and then throw it out of the cryo, you can now access it's inventory like a normal tame.You can't tame adult yetis, and the breeding is glitched. If you try to breed your yetis, they will, but the baby will for some reason be wild, and not tamed. And there is no way to tame that newborn baby yeti.

They spawn in winter caves, be very wary cause they BEASTS
