Wyvern are not happy when you grade the egg so have a fast fly go close to the ground to agro it on more dino 😁🦊

Heres a big hint, if you already have cryo-pods i suggest you catch yourself an oviraptor. I went into the beach cavern, near the green Obelisk on Ragnarok and took that guy with me.

1. Look for wyvern nearby

2. If there are none or they are busy hovering against a wall ( like mine) get the ovi out.

3. Put the ovi on follow inside the nest he will dig it up for you

4. Pick it up from his hands and no one will notice!

I snatched myself 4 eggs like that and didnt pull any aggro but they where all kinda low level since i only managed to be in the first room :/ highest was 95 i got fire and 85 lightning. Better luck to yous

Don’t be scared, a pack of 4-10 rexs with 15,000 health and 500% melee will tear these things apart.

Just watched my girlfriend hit the Valguero trench with 20 freshly hatched and raised Argentavis, left with about half of them but also about 30 Wyvern eggs richer including a 190 fire and a 190 ice, never seen an egg run like it but honestly it was fun as hell to watch. might actually be so stupid it’s genius 10/10 would highly recommend.

If you’re getting a wyvern from someone, ask for an egg, otherwise you can’t imprint. Learned this the hard way. F

I’m not sure why, but higher levels mature faster then lower levels? Is this correct, or is there an exception to some other rule?

On Lost Island, lots of different Dinos spawn around the trenches, so wyverns often aggro on them and wander away from the trench. With some patience, you can fly in the trench to get an egg. If wyverns follow you, simply fly near other dinos and they get distracted, even after you stole an egg!

You need at least 14 fire pit and 5 fence’s

How I got an egg with just my flying mount. The Argentavis. Empty slots. Lured other near by Dino's into the pit on the other side with a fastish Dino I can drop down and set to highest follow. The Wyverns got distracted I had time to get a fire egg. Before I knew it I was out safe, no others following me, no great loss of any important tames and no battle. Just distraction and quickness.

If you dont have wyvern milk and dont feel like going through all the hassle, and you have access to a snow owl, you can simply hatch the wyvern egg, and keep on using the snow owl heal to freeze the food decrease of the Wyvern until he can eat meat

The second one is a good tip you still need a fasting flying Dino

For noobs who have only a PT with a saddle but want a wyvern and pros who don't want to risk a good tame's life! 1. Dump all the pt's levels into Hp, speed & stam. 2. Tame a low lvl oviraptor. 3. Ride the PT and somehow get the oviraptor into the trench. 4. Use the oviraptor's secret ablilty to steal an egg, if you're podding it make sure to take the egg from it's inv. 5. Get the HECK out of there! 6. Go to your base and get like 16 standing torches and a reg torch, and hatch the egg. 7. Uhhh I don't know what to do about wyvern milk, but trapping and knocking out a low lvl female with wood gates and tranq arrows could work. 8. You have a wyvern! Plz hit l i k e if this was useful!

Line trench with a generator and some turrets. Fly in and get wyrverns to follow you out. Turrets kill wyrverns, fly in and take eggs! Rise repeat! Used this strategy on Scortched Earth in single player.

Let's be honest here most of us just cheat and use a Daeodon to heal this thing when growing one from an egg instead of knocking out a female wyvern for the milk cuz why the hell not Lmao

If your server uses the S+ mod. Reach the level of the nanny and of the hatchery. Technically if the server’s owner is smart you have classic flyers. So a ptera with 400 stam and 130 mvt speed clearly work if you roll in the air (don’t forget to watch at your stam). Then with basic parameters, only one re-fertilizer do the job for as many eggs as you want (count approximately 1/day) so you have a wyvern egg with 1% left. Drop the egg, 14 torchs do the job as well, hatch your little one. Get a nanny. Go find 10 honey then give them to her. Honey will spoil in days in her inventory so don’t worry. Give her about 5 stack of meat (don’t forget to put back meat in your feeding through) after some time you’ll have wyvern depending of the multiplayers of your server. Enjoy

Using a reliable pt and having decent skills with them is very useful when getting away from these monsters. Stamina is essential to getting away so when you can hear their elemental attacks just roll left or right taking advantage of their terrible turn radius and most of the time totally ignoring any of their damage. Last thing is fly through trees or places where the wyvern would get distracted/stuck, like in Val where there's packs of mammoth that they will aggro onto instead of you

Don’t feel like knocking a wyvern out for its milk? Just kill the alpha and get 50 milk easy then store in Dino with preserving salt or sparkpowder in preserving bin

Everything is fine and dandy once you bring your swarm of Dimorpidons into the Wyvern Cove Cave. It a method I use to clear out the cave to gather eggs unaccosted. I think I shoved 8 eggs into my argent in one run.
