If you are flying a pteranodon make sure to keep circling around it and going above it then back under it as there turning radius is terrible

Get a 150 plus before hatching because they will die. U need at least 2000 food that last about 4 hour so u don’t need to get milk so often

If you play on Ragnarok, then if you use a Griffin you can shoot it from there. Try to get ice wyverns instead of the other types because with ice they spawn one At a time, not 10.

Ik some of y’all might consider this cheating because it requires going out of the storyline’s chronological order, but USE A MANAGARMR TO GET THE EGGS! The quickest escape you’ll ever make, I promise you! You’ll get away too fast for them to stay aggro for long, so you can just dip back in & scoop as many eggs as your heart desires (or carry weight can handle)!

They dont really spawn on extinction they just spawn smaller versions in the forest titans arena

They can be knocked out very easily if you use a mantis equipped with wooden clubs.

Wyvern milk is worth 1200 food if they have less than 1200 food stat theyll need to be forcefed

When raising baby Wyverns, using a Daeodon to heal and put dodo kibble in its inventory (food value of dodo kibble for Daeodon is 95) its by far the easiest way for the Daeodon is heal continuously and for a much longer period of time. And dodo kibble is very simple to make! (And as long as there’s enough kibble, there’s practically no risk of the Daeodon starving)

I just use my climbing axe to go in the back entrance bring sleeping bags and lots of parachutes, plus don't touch the lave u will loose everything I always get my eggs on foot lot less to worry about loosing good takes keep them for the milk, them boom you got yourself some titty wyvern milk and eggs :) hope this helps

I was horrified of the zombie wyvern. Although it looks scarier, i dont think it can use its special attack, making it weaker then the normal wyverns

When escaping with an egg fly low through vallies and trenches wyverns have a hard time manuvering and keeping up with you.

I am gonna be taming one today, i'll share my tatics.

I'll be using a thyla pumped into HP(21k-ish), 600% damage, and about 1.5k stam, with 75% imprint, ( i play ascended with mods and imprint bonus stats at 10X, take this in consideration, also, Series S) , but a weaker thyla can also do this i think.

Now the plan, go to the scar, jump into a wall climb , then pounce to a nest with a desired egg, then, jump and start climbing , then run or fight back ( stronger/weaker thyla).

Thats the plan, now the wyvern milk is another history, but anyway, i use wyvern milk maker MOD.

Set player damage to 20, that should one shot knockout a wyvern, it is cheaty but ark cheats too, they reset torpor when you die and make they wyvern attack only you instead of creatures around you.

If Ur on single player mobile turn Ur difficulty down then yoink an egg the use that wyvern to get a higher lvl egg

A easy way to get a Wyvern Egg is to get a Griffin and use a whip to pick up the egg while on the mount. This way you won’t be recognized much. Beware though.

Wyvern trenches on Fjordur location + accessibility

Fire (95.80 - 80.50 normal map) Easily accessible and enough space for you to maneuver in with larger mounts. Plenty of other dinos for wyverns to get distracted with after aggroing.

Poison (12.80 - 64.70 green portal) Beautiful trench ngl. But only accessible through a small entrance. Inside the trench is enough space to dodge attacks.

Ice (66.30 - 32.20 blue portal) One part of the trench is pretty easy to access, but if you want to check for more eggs you'll have to go through a small entrance. It's hard to dodge the ice wyverns breath within that part of the trench.

Lightning (30.10 - 08.20 yellow portal) Very hard to access. The trench is within a cave full of cave critters, and the trench itself is extremely narrow, making it hard for you do dodge wyvern attacks.

[I highly recommend using a Rock Drake for obtaining eggs. The rock Drake itself is easily obtained by stealing it's eggs with invisible Desmodus during night.]

Scout for a nest with the egg you want, and build up a short auto turret tower in that area just outside the trench. Then with a fast flyer, you can just lure out any wyverns around the best up and into a hailstorm of bullets. Makes grabbing eggs way easier (tho a bit more expensive?). I usually put up two auto turret towers just to be safe. Quick reminder that they’re gonna need to be powered by an electrical generator, windmill, etc.

Honest a great taming mount. Can carry a lot, has good stats, fast, and cool. Tho I don’t think someone will steal a lvl 136 wyvern just to take a allo….
