The river ahead of them cut through the land until it eventually ended not too far away. Nova peered into the water and noticed schools of fish swimming by. Some were dark blueish black and had small, derpy eyes, but then a swarm of small hand-shaped red fish swam in, their sharp teeth glinting in the water. Piranhas. The dodo squawked at the sight of them, and it was then both women noticed the razor sharp teeth.
“We’re not swimming across the river. We’ll just keep moving.” Ruby declared.
“I was about to say…” Nova shuddered, “Yeah. Let’s get a move on.”
Nova and Ruby took their stroll down the ‘beach’, and as they did Ruby began picking some of the berries off the bushes nearby. Because of the peninsula they were located on, the place they were was more so a beach than a forest.
Nova’s eyes darted to Ruby’s hands, and she foraged. She scratched her chin.
“Are you preparing for a good meal?” Nova questioned her curiously.
“Yeah. How’d you know?” Ruby smiled. “It appears you can make meals with them. So they probably aren’t poisonous.”
Ruby pooled all the berries in her palms and showed them to Nova.
“These things look funky,” Nova said, picking a blue one up, “Hey this one looks like a blue cherry.”
“It does. But it’s way bigger. Look at the size of that thing,” Ruby replied, “I’ve never seen any of these berries before when I cooked. Maybe they’re exotic or something.”
“Yeah. It does appear like we’re on some sort of island. Maybe these are exclusive here.”
“I wonder what they taste like? I bet they taste really sweet.”
“I bet the dinosaurs here would taste really good,” Nova predicted as she twirled the sharp stick back and forth with her palm.
“I wonder if it’d taste more like a steak or a porkchop,” Ruby replied, “I bet the birds here taste like chicken.”,
Nova eyed the dodo bird, licking her lips with a grin. The bird squawked at her with disapproval.
“Sorry,” Nova apologized, “I’m just joking with you.”
“Yeah. There’s always other dodo birds to eat,” Ruby giggled, looking down at the bird, “You’re fine with that, right?”
It seemed completely fine with the notion of eating other dodos.
“Okay nice. Because I’m gonna be hungry soon. I have a big appetite,” Nova declared. The dodo squawked, as if agreeing.
“Yeah. He gets it!”
Nova thought the way the strange dodo bird acted was familiar, in a sense. But she couldn’t put her finger on it. Would Ruby even understand what she was talking about?
“You’re not so bad. Maybe we can be friends after all this,” Ruby suggested. Nova grinned. It wouldn’t be so bad to expand her connections.
“I don’t see why we wouldn’t. Just make free food for me every once in a while, okay?”
“I don’t mind doing that. I’ve been meaning to get into it.”
By now, the conversation was gone, and the atmosphere became a lot more quiet. Both women had come to an agreement about their food situation. For now, Nova was taking his time looking around the place at the other creatures that he just noticed also inhabited the island. Alongside the dodo birds were small lizard creatures that looked similar to dogs but had smaller and more derpy heads. Nova noticed that they dug their heads in the small bushes, and once they took them out they ate small, purple berries that looked like grapes.
“You know, the purple berries must taste pretty well if those guys are eating them,” Nova observed.
“Those are Lystrosaurus,” Ruby responded, “And yes. They must be both safe to eat and tasty.”
Nova continued looking around the area. There were giant turtles bigger than them with small heads which stumbled around slowly, their small legs sticking out like stumps. There were also large horned beasts with huge frills and three large horns, and they were also larger than them. Swimming in the water were small furry birds that were like skinny ducks. One of the skinny ducks dived into the water, grabbed a blue fish, and submerged with game in its beak. Nova looked above to see strange reptile birds with huge crests on their head and elongated beaks flying above them, their wings flapping slowly but majestically.
“It doesn’t seem dangerous, but,” Nova murmured, “Something still feels off about this place. Like… this place is artificial.”
“Same here. The gems, the extinct creatures…” Ruby warned her, “Keep your guard up.”
Nova drew her bow. “Will do.”
Ruby popped a purple berry in her mouth. She seemed pleasantly surprised by the taste. She drew her bow too afterwards.
A few more minutes passed and they had managed to make it to the ‘hill’ on the other side. Nova looked up with squinted eyes.
“This place doesn’t look too dangerous. I don’t see any dinosaurs anywhere,” Nova pointed out. Just then, a shrill scream came from up above. Nova and Ruby’s heads jerked up at the sound. The dodo bird clucked nervously.
“Someone’s up there,” Nova deduced.
“It sounds like he’s in trouble,” Ruby said, drawing an arrow, “Should we… help that guy?”
“I don’t see why not,” Nova began running up the hill, “Come on! Let’s check it out!”

The Bulbdog and the Basilisk part 1
The bulbdog's name was Chuck, he was yellow as a banana and he smelt like one to. The basilisk's name was Berry, he was bright red with white spots and he smelt like a berry. They were both part of the drake tribe, until it happened that sad sad day when the nameless attacked. There were thousands to many for the turrets, and to many for the drakes, nobody could save the base or dinos. They would die. They watched as there human was turned into one of them. They were the only ones who made it out.

Darkest Day Chapter 2: Escaping Doom. The Wyverns stared at the object, wondering what it was. Firebreath threw it on the ground and continued sorting through the crates. As the artifact hit the stone floor, it spilt open, blinding light spilling from it. The light slowly dimmed, turned into the shape of a Argy that started to speak. “Hello, Lost Soul. Have those eggs hatched yet? They should have a while ago. Anyway, I need them back. Today. Not tomorrow, not five weeks from now. Lionfeather and I have to alter their way of thinking. I am coming shortly after you unload the crate that this was in. Remember that this was your last chance to do something good in this chaotic world.” The artifact snapped shut, ending the message. Murderfang was stunned. 7 years of being trapped, with no outside communication, and suddenly someone wanted them? “…But this can’t be real, Lost Soul would have told us…” She hissed. “Maybe he didn’t want us to know.” Nal growled. “Um… guys, the crate is unloaded, that thing,” Firebreath pointed at the black die. “Was at the bottom of the box.” “LOOK OUT!” The ice Wyvern roared, barreling into the other wyverns. The Argy that they had just seen flew into the cavern, landed, and looked at each Wyvern. “Voidwyrm.” She whipped her head around to stare at Sui. “Where is your Overseer?” She said the last word slowly. “He’s not here, but he will-OW!” Silver oil sprayed everywhere as the purple bird attacked the Voidwyrm, shredding the metal plating between her talons. Unnatural fire blazed around Murderfang’s claws, a strong desire to protect her friend. The black Wyvern leaped, catching hold of the enemy’s back in her jaws, and flew out the cave. The sun blinded her, and she clamped her eyes shut, but she couldn’t see where she was going and crashed into a rock tower, releasing the enemy. Murderfang snapped her eyes open, regained control of flight, and attacked the Argy. As the two aerial predators fought, Nal rushed to the wounded Voidwyrm and said, “Sui? Can you hear me? Sui?” No response. The ember Wyvern prodded her back. The silver Wyvern groaned. Nal looked at the damage inflicted and hissed, “Firebreath, could you get me a few bandages?” The red Wyvern growled softly, but still got a bandage for her. “Thanks.” She said softly. Nal wrapped the bandages around Sufi’s back, gently putting them on, then rubbing Med-brew into the wound. “Will she be ok?” Firebreath asked. “Hopefully. She will have some pain in her back for a while though, so she can’t fly.” Nal replied. …Soon. Soon this will all be over. She thought. 2 awesome votes and next one’s on Griffin! First’s on Crystal Wyvern. -Dragonslayer-

“So do you wanna swim across the river, or walk around it?” Neddy asked Samuel as they looked at the river ahead of them. It cut through the land until it eventually ended not too far away. Samuel peered into the water and noticed schools of fish swimming by. Some were dark blueish black and had small, derpy eyes, but then a swarm of small hand-shaped red fish swam in, their sharp teeth glinting in the water. Piranhas.
“Don’t you see what’s in there? We’re not swimming across the river,” Samuel replied, “Let’s just walk around. We have all the time in the world.”
Samuel and Neddy took their stroll down the ‘beach’, and as they did Neddy brushed his hand across the many unique flora of the grass slightly inland. Because of the peninsula they were located on, the place they were was moreso a beach than a forest.
Samuel’s eyes darted to Neddy’s hands, and he noticed that he was picking up the berries and fruits of the bushes, along with small fibers that made up the plant.
“What are you doing?” Samuel questioned him curiously.
“Just gathering some berries,” Neddy said, “I noticed them on the way here. You never know when you might need a good snack.”
Neddy stopped his foraging for a moment to look at the berries he had picked up.
“These are some weird berries,” Samuel said, picking a blue one up, “Hey this one looks like a blue raspberry.”
“It looks like a blue raspberry but it’s not,” Neddy replied, “In fact none of these berries are recognizable. I think they’re completely new.”
“Well if they aren’t something that isn’t known to man, we shouldn’t eat them, right?”
“I guess so. We don’t know if they could be dangerous to eat or not, it’s too risky to know for sure. For now let’s just have them as an emergency food supply. Only in a dire situation where we’re absolutely starving.”
“But then what else would we eat?” Samuel wondered as he tossed the rock he had plucked up and down.
“I’m not sure, maybe we could hunt the animals here,” Neddy answered, eyeing the dodo bird hungrily. The bird squawked at him with disapproval.
“We’re not eating the bird,” Samuel sneered.
“We have to do it for the greater good!” Neddy shouted.
“He’s my friend, man, you wouldn’t get it!” Samuel screamed. The dodo squawked at him angrily.
“Sorry, she is.”
Samuel was unsure if he should tell Neddy about this bird’s dog-like behavior, and how the dodo made him feel safe and welcomed, but now didn’t seem to be the time.
“You’re a crazy bastard,” Neddy scoffed.
“You’re the one runnin’ around with nothing but your underwear.”
“The gown was gettin’ itchy!”
“Okay okay, how about this,” Samuel reasoned, “We can eat anything but my bird, okay?”
“Fine. Anything but your bird.”
The argument was gone, the tensions had died down. Both boys had come to an agreement about their food predicament. For now, Samuel was taking his time looking around the place at the other creatures that he just noticed also inhabited the island. Alongside the dodo birds were small lizard creature things that looked similar to dogs but had smaller and more derpy heads. Samuel noticed that they dug their heads in the small bushes, and once they took them out they ate small, purple berries that looked like grapes.
“Those weird things are eating the purple berries,” Samuel observed.
“They’re called Lystrosaurus,” Neddy responded, “And if they’re eating the purple berries then that means they must be safe to eat.”
Samuel continued looking around the area. Samuel looked above to see strange reptile birds with huge crests on their head and elongated beaks flying above them, their wings flapping slowly but majestically.
“This island doesn’t seem so dangerous the more we explore,” Samuel said.
“It’s a trap. That’s how all places or people are. You think they’re not a threat but they could have the capability to kill you many times over. Don’t underestimate any animal that you don’t know,” Neddy warned him.
“I guess you’re right. They’re pretty big and scary looking,” Samuel stated.
“You shouldn’t have to worry about any of them as long as you keep your distance from them,” Neddy reassured him as he placed a purple berry in his mouth.
A few more minutes passed and they had managed to make it to the ‘hill’ on the other side. Neddy looked up with squinted eyes.
“This place doesn’t look that bad. Maybe we could set up shelter here or use it as a vantage point to see the next place to travel to,” Neddy said. Just then Neddy’s implant began to hum. He looked at the implant curiously, and the dodo squealed in delight.
“The gem thingie, it’s glowing…” Samuel realized.
“It is. You know what that means,” Neddy said looking up at the hill, “There’s someone up there.”

Tales of Pandora
Origins of Salizar: Chapter 7 ~Artifact hunting~
“No, of course not, I’d never risk my life on a chance of power!” Count Ghost said. “But, your highness, imagine how strong you could be!” Salizar said. “Strong? More like hideously disfigured..” Drain said. “Fine, If you don’t want the power I’m offering then I’ll bestow it on another.” Salizar said defiantly. “Oh really? Well good luck with that. And good day.” Count Ghost said scuttling away.
“How about you?” Salizar asked Drain. “Too big a risk, ask again when you know it works.” Drain said. “Fine, who then!” Salizar said. No desmodus responded, until one stepped up, he was a runt, shorter than the rest, and albino. “I’ll do it.” The bat said in a thick accent. “Step aside Phasma, leave this ape to himself.” Drain said. “Come child, come with me and you shall know true power! All you have to do is follow.” Salizar said. “Let’ss go then.” Phasma said. The other desmodus looked at them in distain as they left the cave.
“Ok, our timeline is gonna have to change, Salizar has already shown the humans the artifacts, it’s only a matter of time before they find the others and defeat the Broodmother, after that everything will happen very quickly. We need to get out of here before this happens.” Ryker said. The crew was sitting in their cave around a smoldering campfire. “What if we take the humans artifact?” Ras asked. “No they’ll hunt us down for that.” Ryker said. “How about we kill Salizar.” Killion said. “In due time Killion, but for now we have bigger matters at claw.” Ryker said. “What if we steal the guardian trophies from the humans and leave before they ever fight the dragon?” Wretch asked. “Perhaps, but Salizar will try and stop us, he has his own plan, whatever it may be.” Ryker said. “So? Who cares about that runt, Wretch can take the Broodmother and megapithicus trophies and we can kill the dragon ourselves, the ark will reset the dragon and the humans will be clueless, we’ll already be in the starlit sanctuary before anyone knows a thing.” Asher said. “Yes.. good idea Asher, now, Killion, Ras, do recon and find the artifacts required to fight the dragon, Wretch, watch the humans and make sure they never find the trophy, take it before they know. “What if Salizar tries to stop me?” Wretch said. “We’ll deal with him..” Ryker said, Asher gave a toothy grin.
Weeks had passed before anything else happened, the crew procured the artifacts needed to fight the dragon, as they had already done it dozens of times before, and the humans had found their artifacts a bit later, one of the four they found was for the megapithicus and they had no idea yet that they connected to an obelisk, but they were getting close. Salizar and Phasma had grown to be quite good friends, they were both maniacal and cowardly, yet brilliant.
“Sso, are you ssure this element blood thing will work?” Phasma asked. “Of course, I’d never steer you wrong.” Salizar said. ‘Darn, I’ve gotten too close.. almost called him bud.. remember they are all just tools to achieve your ultimate goal..’ he thought. “Alright, goodnight then.” Phasma said, Salizar and Phasma had very different sleeping schedules, they only had a few hours to chat before one would sleep, is was night so Salizar went to sleep and Phasma went to hunt. Salizar was struck with nightmares that night, he couldn’t rest. So he went for a stroll through the forest.
Primalis sat in his lab, he had the artifact in his arm still, he forced Agent Fox, Agent Raptor, and Agent Reed to sit around in his lab since they also had artifacts. “How long do we gotta sit here?” Agent Reed asked. “You’ll sit here until I have the information the King requested.” Primalis replied coldly. “Why don’t we just smack these things into the obelisks.” Agent Fox said. “Don’t be absurd Agent Fo- wait.. perhaps.. we leave in the morning.” Primalis said. “Does than mean we can go to sleep?” Agent Raptor asked. “Fine..” Primalis said. “ALRIGHT hit the bunks y’all!” Agent Fox said.
Journey: Chapter 8
“So, where do you want to go?” Nightfall said. “What do mean where? I don’t know what this place looks like, where anything is or where this place is to Fjordur!! Do you think I know where to go??” Forest said as a realization hit him.
He told his family he’d be back in three days. Now he’s stuck in a different place with no idea how to get back. If he ever makes it back, his parents will never let him leave the cave again.
“Well I can take you to the closest mountain than we can go wherever you need to go from there. It’s not like I have anything to do besides help you.” Nightfall said “So, what is it like being in a secret society?” Forest asked.
“Well, it like this.” Nightfall said continuing on, “You first have to learn something new and significant before joining, most troodons go for a science. But some do more survival know how. I went and learned Linguistics and learned all basic languages.” Nightfall began to explain and continued to explain that most of everything else from then on was the knowledge that founders of the Order learned and continued their way up to more recent discoveries.
The morning sun began to rise up as Forest and Nightfall climbed up atop one of the smaller mountains of the south of the Island. Forest could see his new friend was a blue with black markings and had a toe claw missing off his one foot. He had a couple good sized wounds on his back and neck that were fairly fresh. “We’re almost at the top. Then we can see most of the Island.” Nightfall said “So, the Order are the only ones who know about this knowledge?” Forest asked.
“Well no, Guardians, minor guardians and some humans also know the knowledge the Order knows.” Nightfall said while looking for the right path up the mountain. “Guardians?” Forest said.
“Yeah Guardians, Bosses, Dragons, Giant Gorilla, Scary Spider and usually a head Guardian above them. I think this is the path up.” Nightfall said changing the subject.
“You lead the way. I don’t know this place.” Forest said as he trying to figure out this little Troodon. The Troodon led Forest up to the peak where they could see the redwoods, and the Red and Green Obelisks. “Well you decide from here, I’ll take you wherever you need to go but no further than that.”.
Forest looked at the three best options. “Well, let’s go to Green Obelisk.” Forest said while getting prepared, “Alright, It’ll be a few days to walk the paths.” Nightfall Said adamantly.
Forest looked at him with awestruck. “Who said anything about walking. Grab on to my bag, we’ll cut the time to a fraction of it.” Forest said, Nightfall reluctantly walked over to Forest and gripped on to his backpack with all his claws.
Forest took a breath, began to run towards the edge and jumped off the peak of the mountain.

Chapter one- The crash.
The wind whirled around LightObsorber. He spun and barrel rolled threw the air breathing in huge amounts of oxygen, smiling. He flew above the large ship that has landed, watching every Human live their lives. He was so interested that he flew close to them inch by inch to get a better look. LightObsorber was so intent on watching he was startled by his fellow friend Black Whole landing next to him.
"Why are you so close to those evil creatures? Their will force you to do their bidding if they find you" LightObsorber shivered at his oily voice. "Because I want to? And even if they did see me none of them could catch my fast wings! I'm the fastest of them all!" He twirled around, confident in himself. Black Whole shook his head and tuck in his wings.
"Your learn one day. I only hope you can get out before it's to late. Your my best friend Light, don't die on me from stupidity" He snorted at the glare he received from Light. "I won't ever, and I mean ever get caught!"
That's when it all happened...

Chapter 6 (last chapter)
Thunder awoke in a cell made of rockwells innards. He shot lightning at the bars, but nothing happened. "Ah, I see your awake. I would kill you, but you could be of value, so I will give you a choice. Join me, and we could rule together, or die. Your choice." Rockwell boomed. Thunder looked for any exits, but didnt see any. "Well, I would like to live, so I guess I'll join you." Thunder sighed. The bars of his cell retreated into the ground and thunder walked out. He looked up and saw the mutated monstrosity called rockwell. "Well, I think its time to end this." Thunder said as 5 humans and 20 gigantosaurus walked in.
"You think THEY will help you?" Rockwell laughed. "Yeah, because we have a common enemy." Thunder launched into the air and spat poison at rockwell as the gigantosaurus ripped his flesh. Rockwell screeched and tentacles came up and wrapped around the gigantosaurus. Thunder dove down and ripped each of the tentacles fron the ground and the gigantosaurus charged back in to the fight. "IF I GO DOWN, THIS SHIP IS GOUNG DOWN WITH ME!" Rockwell screamed.
Thunder flew out of the areana and landed in the rebel camp. "The ship is going down! Follow me!" Thunder roared. At least 100 voidwyrms flew out of the cave and followed him. Thunder flew back to the areana to see a gigantosaurus rip rockwells heart in half. Rockwell screamed and the areana started crumbling. On one of the walls there were 200 giant escape pods. "Everyone get in an escape pod!" Thunder boomed. "Couldnt we survive in space?" A voidwyrm asked. "No, this ship is causing radiation in space, if we tried to survive in space, we would die of radiation, now go!"
2 tentacles burst from the ground and ripped a voiwyrm that was holding a hatchling in half. Thunder thrusted over and grabbed the hatchling. Once all of the voidwyrms were in an escape pod, he dove into an escape pod with 5 other voidwyrms. "Press the red button and it will launch!" Thunder shouted. He pressed the button with his wing claw and the door closed and the escape pod launched. Thunder looked out the window and saw the rest of the escape pods launch aswell. The escape pods seemed to be heading to, an ark? The escape pod crashed and everything went black...
-shadow(i know this was a short story, but im connecting this story and the pride. So I know humans were attacking rockwell with shsdowmanes in the pride, but my explanation is thunder fought the main part of rockwell, and blueberry and the gang fought a different part, the second strongest part. So I hope that explains it a bit. Also, the ark they landed on is the lost island, so the next story will be posted on December 14th.)

Chapter 5
Thunder burst from his den, looking for attackers. The cave roof shook and rocks fell from the ceiling. "Everybody get out! Quick!" He shouted. He ran from den to den, trying to get everybody out. He ran to the nests, he had to get the eggs out to safety. 3 other voidwyrms ran in and grabbed eggs and hatchlings. Thunder backed out of the nesting area and ran to the exit. He took off and looked for the threat. 5 tentacles were slamming the asteroid.
Thunder grabbed one with his back claws and ripped it out of the ground. 2 more voidwyrms burst from the cave and flew over to help. Only the smallest one was left. Thunder was about to breathe fire on it when a tentacle 10x larger than him burst from the ground and grabbed thunder. He struggled, trying to turn his head to breathe fire on it, but couldnt. The tentacle wrapped tighter around hum so he couldnt breathe, and everything went black...
