Don't even bother to find them. Trust me you'll waste time. Whenever you see them just hurry up and call ur argentavis(or any dino that can carry the unicorn) then carry them to a safe place or your base and tame them. If you see them on a dangerous spot and you're still requesting an argent(or any dino that can carry the unicorn) then you have to choose 3 things. protect it with everything you've got, kill then take its implant, or go out of the area until you can't see the unicorn so the area you left will freeze (not so sure about the 3rd option but it's a theory, and i'm so sorry if it didn't work.)

Trap them first, and check on them daily. Harvest their poop, and get yourself an argy! Go to griffin moutain, take the griffin eggs. Get a cooking station, and have fun cooking the eggs. Once the kibble is done, feed the uni it

I have found two unicorns and I have never tried looking for them

I have found one quetzal no matter how long I search

I know someone who plays the game and they told me how rare the unicorn is so when I found one I picked it up and brought it to herbivore island but then it got killed by sharks because I got too close and scared it into the water. Really irritated. My family decided to do a single player map, and because I have God Console, I can tame anything I want. I tamed a argy and built a encloser for dinos I want to tame. First thing I wanted to collect is a uni(Yes I do know you need griffin kibble and no I don't have griffins, YET.). My parents don't have God Console. No lie, within 3 days of my mom playing, she found a unicorn. I have circled the map 20 times, and I haven't seen a single one. I know these things are rare but COME ON. Also, devs, for mobile can you make it so uni's aren't so hard to tame?

This majestic beast is easily found in valguaro (idk how to spell it), I logged in 4 times and spawned by chalk hills. Guess what? I found it 3 times by the hill where the deinonychus' spawn near the nest I hope this helps :)

I found a 145 unicorn at Highlands NE Ragnarak right when I spawned in and tamed it with rockcarrots. I was literally extra lucky finding it with that level.

I wish when you kill a unicorn that I would) you should get their horn. The horn could be used for something. I don't know though, this was just a random thought. Or you should get something special so you have to choose either taming the unicorn or killing it.
