Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a tropeognathus? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a tropeognathus.
Bola it 3 times before feeding. This will starve the bird a little bit, making the tame go faster. Tamed a 135 on 4x official in 10 minutes using only mutton.
When taming this, Bola once, let it go free, it'll be agro, let it come back. The second bola its food bar drops 1/4 to half, depending on level, if its low level ya can feed it once or twice. If it's high level, depending how fast ya feed it, ya can feed it three times then rebola it to feed it the fourth time. Hope this helps.
Do Not rush to feed these as soon as you bola them. Damage them a little after you bola it this will make the food go down faster which will make it a faster tame.
They breed fast and the eggs last 30 mins
Anyone know where to find one on Ragnarok unofficial server?
If it lifts you up in it mouth while you are taming it, the taming percent will be reseated
So I tamed a 150 today on official servers during the 4 times taming and it took me 48 minutes for the SECOND kibble. It took 35 minutes for the third and 30 minutes for the final one. It resets if someone else tries to give it kibble, so have one designated person do it. hope that helps
They take 32-38min per feeding. I believe they mixed up by making it 4x longer than shorter.
Its been almost 3 hours now and still no jet bird....the time it takes to get a second feeding in is crazy. Mind you the server i play on is a ×10. Of you really want this thing you better cancel all your plans for the day and prepare for watch your game for hours on end.
Using a behe or double door trap works fine as long as either has a ceiling over it. Usinga chain bola 2-3 times on it before you try ro oassive tame with bring its food to almost empty, after each bola it will want to eat the kibble once you deplete its food.
You do not need rare flowers to get chased it will kite no problem
Playing on console, takes a lot longer to tame then this app says! Seems like it takes 45 minutes to an hour between feedings!
After first bola wait until food drops to half to feed first taming food, tamed a breeding 140/150 pair in 40 mins each with raw mutton on 4 times official
Tamed a 150 and a 145 on official 4x. Took 1hr for second feed, 30 min for 3rd, and 30 min for 4th using kibble for the 145. The 150 took almost 3hrs using kibble. Be aware this is a long babysitting tame.
Can hold a grudge for miles. Chain bolas & kibble help, but timing is everything. Will snatch you off your flyer and carry you around flailing, all until you punch it enough times to DROP YOU ON THE GROUND.
3 Dinosaur Gateframes, 12 Stone pillars, and 1 ceiling.
Bola the Dino in any way you can , then quickly place Dino Gates in triangle formation around the tame keeping a gale in between the gates to shoot through. Place pillars inside 3 high, place ceiling. 9 pillars in place of Dino gates. Now build some spikes and cover your back. Good luck!
The last person to bola is holds the agro until the next person does. Have the other person feed it once it’s down. Wait until it says it doesn’t want to be tamed and then hit it again. Takes around 30-40 min between each feeding.
***Fast taming!!!*** First trap your bird, second chain bola it. Once it’s hit with bola go up and punch it a couple times. It’s food will start to drop pretty fast. Let the bola wear off. Bola once again and feed. Don’t punch after fed once or it will reset. A couple punches will drain it’s food to half atleast!
Build an argy trap, lure it in with rare flowers, but be careful it can dismount you. It will get pissed after your chain bola it so make sure to be far enough bsck or have a tribemate stand there with a riot shield while you passively feed it.
The intervals is not 8.5 mins. More like 30-40 mins between feeding
