The best way to tame these bad boys (or girls!) is to get on a high rock ,where it can’t reach you, then bust a couple stones at it with a slingshot. They make great early-game mounts and decent pack hunters.

Also:

-I recommend getting a parasaur first because, if the tame goes wrong, you can outrun it.

- Don’t hit it’s head, it only takes about 15% of damage.

- Don’t try to kill it without a mount; IT’ll SHRED YOU.

Build wooden pillar with ladders and shoot any ranged torpor weapon at them, if they lose aggro you can get off the pillar and continue shooting at them until they go unconsious feed them berries and you got a tamed trike.

Get on a rock if you did not break rock and use a slingshot on the body or else that will be longer. Name your freind (cera for ideal) and take a saddle (dye it your fav color) and your trike and it,s ready to go!

(Only multiplayer)

Get a friend, get them to distract the trike by clubbing them, then you get to clubbing the trike from behind, switch up a few times, then it’s knocked out!

Those dinos are probably the best begginers tame,if there is an enemy you get attacked with a trike other trikes in a short radius will help you till the enemy is gone,the got a buff when a rex or spino is near so if its well upgraded dont be afraid of fighting one,you can tranq them from a cliff but not rock because the hit it till its destroyed and then feed it withe every colurful berry,up for the trikes honor

If your new if you accidently hit it dont be scared if you have a spear you ca kill it(unless its a very high leveled one)

I have tamed five low level trikes and they will take out anything on my beach.

You can kill a rex even if it is a higher lvl because of the trikes knockback.

Triceratops is a very strong tame in early game, they can kill an Allo, Carno, Sarco, A pack of Argentavis, Megalodon, and anything that is strong, but only when you mount it. But Trike is very slow, so always upgrade their movement, make them follow you, and when you encounter a strong dino, mount the Trike and kill the dino.

How to tame a high level trike early:

Make a 2x2 wooden trap with doorframes BUT WHILE LURING IT IN MAKE SURE IT DOESN'T CHARGE OR IT WILL BULLDOZE THE TRAP

Once it's trapped you can knock it out worry free, but be careful about using a slingshot as high level trikes can die from rocks

Secure the area and go on about your business because the tame will take a while and the trap will protect it

Need norco berries? Get a trike saddle and go plow down some bushes and kill animals with it and split the stacks to get spoiled meat and there you go tame sum thing with high torpor.

I almost got killed by a Dilophosaurus and the triceratops Saved me

Jump on a high rock, make sure it can’t get to you then shoot it with a bow or a crossbow. I highly recommend to use tranq arrows. DON’T USE A SLINGSHOT ON A HIGH LEVEL!

1. Use stone walls to make a trap.

2. Shoot at him to lure him to the trap.

3. Once in the trap, keep shooting with narco arrows until unconscious.

4. Use lots of berries and corn to tame, including force feeding narcoberries to have enough time to tame him. Otherwise he wakes up before he’s fully tamed.

Tip: Wait until they’re separated from the group before you shoot, otherwise the entire group will attack you!

It’s a good first tame. make a tame trap and punch it make it go into trap. get hi

so you can soot it with tranqs soot at its legs when it’s asleep put Narcotics in its inventory. and get Berries to feed it with.

Don’t hit head it is a shield I get them stuck in trees and the go to the side is slingshot it in the side btw don’t head back to base it will wreak some tames like my dilo army that is growing in size

These things with a pack of 3-5 is really strong i went and dealt with a rex in seconds i only made one tanky and the rest on pure dmg they be slow but good for fighting

Just go on GENESIS in LUNAR BIOME, in mid-game you can go there with fur and hazmat suits and tek trikes are easy to tame while u can shoot them while jumping in 0 gravity biome.

Good for farming not very fast worth taming if you need a lot of berry’s
