As much as I like the trike, I honestly don't think it's the best for early game simply because of the iguanodon. The iguanodon gathers berries well, infinite sprinting stamina, and a unique berry seeding ability. The trike still serves as a good raid dino though.

Don't stand in front of it, get it stuck in trees and shoot it from behind.

My trike was the second thing I tamed and I use it for everything. Since it tamed up at lvl99, I have killed 3 allos at the same time, a carnival or two, numerous troodons, raptors and dilos, a Rex, an alpha raptor and much much more. 10/10 for utility. Taming runs (mobility and defence), metal runs (anky defence), berry collecting, killing sprees, adventuring into new areas... anything is possible on a trike (ok except for defending from titans, gigas, possibly alpha rexes if they are high level and thyla attacks but you get the drift). I may not even replace it with my 115 spino that I have waiting for a saddle.

Theres multiple ways to taming it but i recommend using a tank like a high health carbonemys, making it target it. After it gettijg a hit on it make it passive and start using a slingshot on the trike but stay away so it doesnt target you instead, make sure to have high stamina cus when its close it will try to run and you will have to follow it.

Low level way to tame: use a shield to have to trike hit you back, then shoot it with an arrow. Rinse and repeat till you have knocked out the giant lizard

Trikes are amazing my time killed 5 other trikes and a theriznosaur without taking any more then 50 damage

You will need 44 berries and make a trap (watvh from youtube) and get slingshot or narcotic arrows i used a bow you can use a cross bow but do not shoot at head! Becausr they have armor there shoot at back belly theyre slow but really good for getting berries wood thatch hope this helps

I made a trap for one. 8 foundations down in a square and put door frames down 2 high on every side except for one and build ramps down on that side. Lead the trike in and once he is in start clubbing him. I did this with one under leval thirty .

The new charge that was introduced in the TLC update does not seem to affect small dinos like Dilos or Dodos with a stun. Does outstanding damage against wood walls/spikes, charge completely for max damage :)

If you want you can make a tribe called dodo caravans,these in the center carrying goods,while some more tames protecting you from all angles

If your starting a garden trike is a go to for any and all seeds. But I must warn you get the wheat seeds off fast they eat them faster and love them over berries. I got 6 wheat seeds and it ate 2 in last then 2 secs.

For taming it try to cach it between to rocks and shoot arrows to legs. It will try to run away after about 30 shots

Than use wooden club to knockout it

use a cross bow and 7 tranq arowws get like 20 tintoberrys and never use a bola thank you for reading this

Build a box big enough for trike to fit. make small person door frame 🚪🚪🚪🚪🚪🚪🚪🚪🚪🚪🚪🚪🚪 to shoot with tranq rows, n once its in. place the walls on the opening not the freaking small person 🚪🚪🚪 and good luck.

When I'm trying to tame dinos their food isnt going down can anyone help me with that

You need to tame aggressive pets and then whistle for them to target trike then target it yourself.

Here’s my strategy to tame trikes. Go on Dododex and look how many tranqs you need. Always bring 2x the recommended amount so I case you miss it hit the head. So you want to shoot 1 or 2 quick body or foot shots then RUN LIKE HELL. Every so often turn around and shoot the trike in the foot NOT THE HEAD. After a while he runs away but because trikes are slow you run after him and knock him out. Feed it mejo berries to make the taming smoother, and boom you have a trike.
