Get 6 trikes if you don’t like flyers use the trikes for Ressource runs 1 Male 5 female for mating

If you spawn in the footpaw region(Spawn region South zone 1 and the island is shaped like a giant raptor footprint)you can find these as well as paras and pachycephalosaurs stuck in trees and knock them out with a club or fists and the berries are common in the footpaw

These thing are almost everywhere besides the snow.

Trikes are a very useful tame and they aren’t to get. They are great soakers for raiding a base and if u get health mutations they are even better! If u feed them cakes then they heal very fast so just make sure u have some on u.

All you have to do to take it is get a crossbow and shoot it 3 times with a tranq arrow boom

Ummm I literally walked up to one and started hitting it with my fists. It didn’t kill me and I now have a trike. I don’t know if it’s just me though so...

They may bot be the best travel mount, but have three of these big bois traveling with you, they could kill anything, I was traveling and had spotted 2 carnos running my way, so I butchered those idiots, they had also saved me from multiple raptor pinnings and raptor attacks, they weren’t even high levels, just a 20, 5, and 16 leveled triceratops!

For a beginner tame, find a trike, climb up on a rock and fire slingshots down on it ( or a bow with tranq arrows if you have them), when it’s knocked out, give it some rockarrots or savoroots if you have them, if not, mejos shall serve you well, then craft a trike saddle and have fun. (They share loads of spawn areas with dodos,Dilophosaurs, carbonemys and the like, sorry for this tip being long)

Is the best soaker in the game by technicality. Use stegos for more flexibility while soaking.

These things are very good for fighting head on due to knockback . My triceratops was able to tank and eventually kill and alpha carno with the help of two carnos due to the continuous knockback .Health and Melee damage needs to be pumped heavily though

So normally for me there passive but when one killed me when I never attacked it and I went to get my stuff and it kept killing me idk if this is normal but thought I would share

The best use is taming one and using its head to soak turret bullets as your body will be protected if a turret is on only survivors and with its damage resistant its can easily soak many bullets once at a good level
