Tips & Strategies

What are tips for triceratops? Tips and strategies for triceratops in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
You can tame these with just a slingshot. Find a high ground and start shooting a trike. It can’t reach you, as you are on a high ground.
I saw a trike stuck between 2 trees so I shot it in the belly and neck which seems to work better and gave it berries and manually fed it narcoberries to make it sleep longer it will also sleep longer if you shoot it with tranq arrows (I shot it in the neck) but it doesn’t work as good as narcoberries if this helped hit the arrow pointing to the sky
If their head is glowing orange, get out of there! That means a spino or a rex is nearby. Although thats kinda hard to miss if a 5 ton megalizard is close
So I got a new ask and I want to go kill a trip triceratops there is a whole pack of like three I’d almost died twice, but a rock save me
Run up to it, don't be afraid, bring 1-2 friends* and start tranq-ing it quickly, also, use 1 fast person as bait or a person on a paras air
*Depends on level
As you may think you need all type of deals you do not!! I am a true alpha because I just got done knocking out a 135 level trade with my metal crossbow that has 119.8% damage and it did not take that long I didn’t get hit it is easy to not listen to the people that need wood structures just make sure not to hit it in the head and this is going toward you shoot it in the legs But for the last time if you are a bot it is much easier to just forget about using a trap
Great early game tame, good damage, great weight, and extremely high hp for an early game tame, also gathers berries extremely well, and has a charge attack that does more damage the more you charge! Tame one as soon as you can, as a low level can take down a pack of raptors!
Even though they aren’t easy to tame early game, they will provide you with eternal protection and friendship until they pass on. Treat them the way they treat you
Tbh it would be cool if they added an Impale attack, once something is impaled they start bleeding and don’t stop unless the trike drops them or the stam of the trike runs out, this should only work for both wild and tamed but the tamed ones should do 50% more impale damage then wild and it should be a 40% chance of happening.
If it’s facing you do NOT shoot the head, you’ll do barely any damage. Instead shoot the legs, you’ll do 100% damage and you’ll have an easier time
