(for beginners)i have my base in herbivor island and a lot of trikes are in herbivor island so i was taming a bronto and i accidentally hit one trike i had 23 tames but,6 left so this is a tip to not hit this piece of s*** if it’s buddies are around

If you ever encounter a trike DO NOT i repeat DO NOT pick up I trike egg 💀 I picked one up on accident then looked behind me and a whole herd of them came running at me and flung me out of excistence (also if there are loads of trikes around they stick up for each other so if you hit one or steal it’s egg they will all attack you even after you respawn/die) 😭💀💀

These bois are not that hard to tame all you need are some tranq arrows

a crosbow/bow look if there is other trikes around if so then maybe don’t try to knock out cuz the others will attack if it alone get some distance snipe it in the body not head if it comes at you or if it is charging aim for legs or if you can body once you knock it out give it 10000000000 berries and just in case a narcotic and then when you tame it name it dinnerplate

Great starting dinos especially for new tribes. The perfect combination is a moschops and a trike and you are all set for supplies! (Make sure to figure out your terrain before you launch a taking spree on these guys though because once you get one Mad you may have 4 others mad!)

Make the trike get stuck between 2 trees then add thatch or any type of fou dating and and like 3 behind then add walls on the foundations and shoot it with rocks or tranq arrows or use a bat (I used bat) also if you accidentally hit this and your new rejoin then the trike won't be mad at you and won't go after you

On mobile its ram ability is broken and will break people's stuff from the outside even a little 2 second charge up will break almost everything so put metal spikes around lol

By far the best starter Dino you can get. To take a low level one, all you’ll need is a slingshot while high level ones need tranq arrows and bows. Once tamed, this thing becomes a beast capable of beating everything from Raptors to Theris. It’s also an excellent berry and thatch gatherer.

Run in circles, acoid its head, and use a slingshot aim for the body and youll get your trike in no time

When you activate the charge attack stam regens at a really fast rate. Just so you know.

When knocked out, i found that a level 100 Trike tames at the following rates:

Mejoberries 0.8%

Longrass 0.9%

Rockcarrots 1,3%

I got the best taming results from rockcarrots. Hope this is helpful.

The trike gathers wood and thatch more effectively when they are charging

Torpor reduces with headshots. Aim for body.

The best way to knock down a triceratops in a single player game is to use 9 tranq arrows, I used 9 tranq arrows an a level 10 triceratops it’s all you need and have berries handy so taming is effective and you get more levels

Do not shoot it in the head it does significantly less and wastes your resources.

These are great for gathering rockarrots and narcoberries.

They can break wood structures. If it's a high level

and charging it will go straight through your trap and kill you. Make it stone and make it close to the trike so it doesn't charge

What ever you do don't hurt it with any weapon's except for a trankulisor. I learned that the hardest way.

Adventure log-triceratops aka trike is a intresting dinosaur. It's ARK version is different from its real counterpart, marking me belive that it is a sub-species of triceratops, since it has visual and skeletal features that are genetically more related to styrakosaurus, a different dinosaur in the ceratopsidae group. The ARK triceratop's hat two top horns that stick out a lot, which makes me make this theory. I will make more observations later.
