Guys I have a tip for fighting them! Hit them with a torch and they will die fast. It is still recommended to bring some kind of backup,like a 🐸 or 🦕

These things ruined my tapajara taming twice. First time they attacked me and I scared the tapajara and it flew away the second time they killed it

How can u actually hate these things they are like the weakest creatures on the island. (weaker than meganeuras who come in as a battle group when ants usually only have two flyers) Plus, I already said it once before but i will say it again, the ground ants are not aggressive! They behave like basically weakened pulmonoscorpions. Curious, but not aggressive Unless u touch them. (Or if they touch u which happens a lot since there's always a second scorpion that pushes the first one to you.)

Kill these guys when you see then their so annoying

I just plain HATE these guys, I’ve had the soldiers get into the body of my diplodocus, then couldn’t kill them. If your diploma is out of stamina, just request it, then run as far away as possible.

Go for a walk with your PT. It'll kill them for you and you can harvest chitin and raw meat.

The odd thing is that I like that they exist, like every ark player these dudes are annoying as real ants, but I will admit, one of my favorite things about ark is how the game includes pretty much everything, and the ecosystem feels alive with the sheer variety of creatures in the game filling out the various ecosystems. That being said I feel like they could use a rework, maybe add the queen and possibly make her tameble like the bees. Maybe change their aggression or give them burrows we can see. They don't really need a rework, but it would be nice. I feel like they decided to add this species to game after one of the devs stepped in a fire ant nest and then decided that ants are painful and dangerous enough to survive on the ark. This has been yet another excessively long review by Sloppy Crow

Very sneaky if you see one shooter with a bow or any ranged weapons you do not want to get close to them they pretty much insta kill you

This plus frog is the my only usage for them

They camped my dead body with a flying ant and 3 normal ants

And I needed my pickaxe to send these hell bugs back to where they came from

You should be able to tame theses guys by like get a baby reaper king then they kinda trust u then lead them 2 a troodon or Dillo or a mutation

Run there’s nothing you can do especially for the friggin flying ones and I’m gathering berries and all of a sudden I’m dead so RUN
