That would've been pretty cool if you could, like, find their house, and destroy it. And, then, you could tame their queen which would've been 3x times bigger than nowmal ant. And they could give you something new from their house, named Ant Acid, which would've been used as 1.5x cooler narcotic or in new recipes.

The only thing these guys are useful for is chitin

These guys give a lot of cementing paste when I kill em with my frog.

They are useful for bombs. Strap a c4 to one, pick it up with your pteranodon, and drop it on more ants. Finally, detonate the c4.

Use your Beelzebufo to kill them for some serious cement paste and chitin

Ok tame a frog and have the frog kill them and get cementing paste

If these things are killed by a tamed frog it will give you cementing paste! They usually come in groups.

Kill all of them with your frog to get Cementing Paste. That is their only purpose other than to drain your stamina and gang bang your ptera like they did to me.

I hate these things they’re everywhere on scorched earth. Free chitin tho ig.

Really annoying, but great for free chitin. Also, chitin is great early-midgame because it's used for armor, cementing paste, and lots of saddles. Hopefully this helped you see the slight bit of usefulness in these annoying prehistoric ants.

I know I am a noob, but I’ve learned on things About these, right when you see them going towards you start damaging them rapidly. Before your encounter/ if they don’t go near you, run away until you cannot hear a bzzzzz

Pre-lvl 40

Run: they do stam damage and have a huge aggro range so it's hard to escape them

Post-lvl 40

You'll end up hunting them for chichin

this is the most annoying thing in ark i make a base early game i hear buzzing and i know my game is over
