So when wild they can stay on massive trees when tamed they can’t?

Hi I highly recommend using these to defend your base because if you put them up on a dinosaur gate or tall pillars it can jump out and kill your enemy without them knowing I would mainly pump damage. Easiest and safest way to tame is get 8 stone pillars and place 7 of them making a u shape, but make sure there is enough space in the middle for a bear trap and the thyla itself. Then find your thyla on the tree shout it down or wait for it to jump, then run around or over your bear trap and makes sure the thyla steps on it. Once it has place your final pillar where the empty spot it so it should make an “O”. Now you can just shoot it with tranks until it’s knocked then feed it with whatever meat or kibble you have. There now you have a thyla!

You CANNOT pick them with argys and normal bear traps do not work

So to knock out one of this bad boys my best suggestion is to bring a pterosaur because these things will climb stuff. Also these things wreck alot

so be careful

Bring a lot of Narcotics! I used around 200 Narcotics on a level 140 on official (I used an elixer which boosted the tame to 30% so I recommend that you take at least 300 Narcotics). I also tried both cooked prime meat and cooked meat and it seems they like the cooked meat the most.

Trapped mine in a all rounder trap with 15 foundation’s, doorframes all around (3 high) and stairs on both ends or the trap.

These boys can be tamed without a trap if Ur half decent , but it's tough , best bet is to make one , use tranq arrows mixed in with a couple darts and it's easy. Don't let them jump onto you that's not the way to get it , shoot it first then lead it into trap . These are incredible for caves but sometimes u have to cryo them in BC they're fat 😂

SE taming:

It’s considerably easier to tame these guys in the desert as they spawn ‘on’ cliffs ,not attached, they prowl about like Sabertooth's, big strong nasty marsupials.

Taming only involves a large bear trap, tranq darts, a longneck rifle and cooked meat

If you want to get it, don't discover redwood one person. You need your crew, and your sabertooth. Because if they get angry, and if they are hungry, they keeping you and never let you go. Even your sabertooth can't save you. So, you have to take some friend your side. Crossbow or bow, it doesn't matter but, remember, this creature have a really high torpor. If you want to tame, make a trap for them. Then when you catch, you can do everything you want to do as taming. Good luck, if you can have. TIGERS.

Get a tank Argy and use it to pick up the Thyla and drop it into a 4x4 walled trap with double high walls and windows on the bottom to shoot through. It prefers cooked lamb chops or even regular cooked meat. It drops torpo quickly so bring lots of Narco

Approach with extreme caution if you're attempting to tame it alone, they are difficult to see when if you're hunting in the Red Wood Forest. Tribemates make the hunt much less arduous.

On crystell ilse find them in desert

I tamed one yesterday and found it really exciting. It’s not actually that hard.

1. Get on any flyer that can pick them up (wyvern recommended)

2. Search for a thylacoleo

3.when found pick it up and bring back to your taking pen.

4. Shoot it with tranqs until it knocks out
