One of the best dinos in the game! They are really hard to tame but once you get one of these that’s a high level you will be able to do anything!
I'm a cat person, i spend a morning by a having a walk on nearby forest, and my cats would happily jump down, hugging my face, after some rolling, i gave them some shotgun shots to their face while they broken my 400% flak armor, which cost lot of metal to fix.
Only a cat person would understand how it was a totally normal, typical morning of living with cats.
Guys you better tame it,because I have 2 thylas in lost island called chleo and Chloe, since I tamed them,I became unstoppable! 1up-1like for Chloe and Chleo :)
Drag a dead Salmon or Coel under a big redwood tree, wait for Thylo to climb down, and them ambush it with clubs
If you want to escape this you can. Cuz these things fly these things can knock you off your dinos and then they literally violate them
If you ever go to the redwood Forest, watch out for these things they fly
If youre playing crystal isles, obviously the redwood desert is a spawn but so is the desert just southeast of the heir caverns, ive seen 3 145s there so cant be too rare
You don't find them......They find you...
Tamed a high level while on a stego. Just keep your stego in hardened plate mode feel free to roam around the redwoods without worrying about microraptors and thylas knocking you off. Yeah stegos are so slow but keeps you safe.
We just tamed 2 lvl 110 thylacoleo and trust me it requires a lot of narcs
The Snow owl is amazing at taming these, because the thermal Vision makes them a bright orange tiger on a grey tree
If you get jumped by one of these gamers, a pump action shotgun will save your ass.
They hid in the trees..... They were everywhere....
If your on Ragnarok, I suggest taming them in the desert, in my opinion its alot less dangerous b/c the thylas are on the ground. Make sure to go on a flying mount and watch out for rock golems and other bugs. The thylas are near the bottom of the desert.
They’re incredibly useful for a lot of things. Their bleeding effect is very good to counter soakers because it deals percentage damage, so you can kill other tribe soakers with 20 bites regardless of their health if you bite them once every 5 seconds (You can use it to easily kill titanosaur too: bite it 19 times, then finish it with weapons for big exp). They can also climb walls, so they’re very strong for cave dungeons and are enough bulky to kill stuff. They can scare dinos with their roar and if you clim a tree u can perform their signature attack that blocks a small creature to the ground for 8 seconds, which is quite good for ambushes in the redwood to other players.
You will only find a Thyla when you don’t want to find one.
In other words, if you want to tame one they will be impossible to find. But if you want to get back home through the redwoods, you and your Pteranadon are F’d in the A.
