I have mated many thyla. here are some pointers. Breed in numbers. Watch videos and build three walls high and a ceiling. Than you jump up and hop off and they will spin around. put male in middle and 2 females on each side. Afterwards take females off wondering, move them and start next batch. You will end up with a lot of thyla, but you can pick and choose until you get the right ones.

While it is not too easy to jump from tree to tree while riding this thing, it is still very much possible. If you use the pouncing attack aimed toward a climbable surface, all you need to do is hold down the climb button and as soon as you make contact with this surface, you wil most likely hook onto it and be able to climbs freely. It is so fun to do this in the redwoods and it can be hella useful in stealth , tree fort raids. Vote up if this was useful

I was hunting them today with ice wyvern on Valguero, killing low lvl and picking higher lvls from tree. After some 8 one actually jumped and scratched my wyvern. Not sure if there was some dino on the ground, others I could fly past and they were ignoring me until I bit them in the face and they dropped on the ground. So I suggest sticking to wyverns as easiest and safest way.

Can’t u just grapple ur Dino so it will never grab u off

On mobile thlas don't exist I hate it

These thylos are easy to tame but hard to knock out after you tame it you can also climb and tackle something. Just find a straight mountain and click a on Xbox a ton then you climb. Turn around on the thylo and hit the trigger at someone and it takes it down. Up if this helped please

Finally a solution to caves!!! If you are overwhelmed by 25+ high level enemies searming you in the caves the thylaco lives and breaths for the chance to slaughter them all. I can finally beat caves.

I was trying to tame a good lvl anky in the red woods and I was riding on my pt and then all of a sudden one of these things ripped me off my pt and then continued to destroy me and all of my armor + my pt named Barry.

When you have to travel through the redwoods, make sure you fly over the trees, makes for a long flight so make sure your flyer has good stam. You can rest on the mountain in the redwoods. Another more dangerous way to go is along the ground, because they usually spawn high in the trees. Works both ways for me.

Tough to tame at 150,but get a male and a female, and the breeding will yield you adorable little units if weaponized furballs. After painstakingly long baby stages.. Our 5th generation interbred triplet lvl 380's violate wild rexes in ways only acceptable in Amsterdam... Put initial points in speed, then level melee and health every other level. At 2.5k hp with a good saddle, little short of a wyvern will give you hassle.

Use these bad boys to steal wyvern eggs. Just jump down into the world scar grab an egg then climb up the walls back onto the land
