If you want to tame a thylacoleo, I recommend bringing a quick, but powerful mount such as ceratosaurus, carnotaurus, or even a thyla if you already have one. Before you head to the redwoods though, bring an argentavis in a cryopod. Also, make sure you have strong armor, such as flak, or even chitin could work. Ensure you bring a pike for in case you get pounced in the process of searching for one. Make sure you've built a trap somewhere, preferably near or at your base, and ensure that it is a 2x2 made from wood or stronger. To begin, take your mount over to the redwoods and find a high level thylacoleo. You'll spot them hanging upside-down on the thickest redwoods trees, or on the ground. Once you've found one, pull out your argentavis, pick up the thylacoleo, and fly it over to your trap. Drop the thyla into your trap, and tranquilize it. Then, make sure you have roughly 150-250 narcotics to keep it asleep. Feed it cooked prime meat or extraordinary kibble, which is easily obtainable using a yutyrannus egg farm. After it is tamed, enjoy your new thylacoleo!
Hardened plate: Reduced damage, prevents dismount.
Sharpened plate: Armor pen, prevents dismount.
Heavy plate: Slows, prevents dismount.
Notice a theme here? Use a Stego and you are immune to being pounced. Can also shoot from stego's back. Enjoy your revenge.
They are definitely intimidating to try and tame. And they make it hard to fly through the redwood. But I find if you fly slowly through the redwood on a argy or something that can carry a parasaour while in turret mode it will light these bad boys up. So you know where they are at. That being said they also make a distinct sound when they leap off a tree trying to get you. Anyways make sure to take a bear trap or a trap with you if you plan to tame one. And don't forget to bring your narcotic!
These can be found in the redwood area and the easiest way to tame them is picking them up with a quetz and then dropping them in a trap made out of 4 behemoth gates
To easily find one in the redwoods, set your graphics quality to low. It's easier to spot them as they do not blend with the trees
If you have a rhynio you can easily tame without any bear traps (it will run away when low so you might as well have some bear traps u can still chase it while shooting) just try to get the thyla down the big tree and then while mounted on your rhynio look down fully to the floor then in the air start shooting it with whatever you are using and then when it's knocked out just feed him (skill issue if you lose the rhynio or die btw u can us a big dino or small better bog dino as bait to get it to leave the tree.)
It's actually a marsupial. That's very mean. And dangerous. And oh shiz run.
I love these little monsters!!!
I've died from them many times, but lets forget about that for now
There is an easy way to tame them !!!
1. Build a floor 2×2 with 1-high walls and two ramps in the near of the Thylacoleo
2.Attrace it with your aji or another flying thing and make sure it run over the ramps an fall into the trap
You already know the rest (;
Just tame a rhyniognatha way better then argentavis and flys super fast so thylacoleos can’t rip you off
The thylacoleo is an extinct genus of carnivorous marsupials that lived in australia from pléistocène to the late pléistocène (2million to 46 thousand years ago). He were the largest mammalian predators in australia of that time. The estimated average weight for the species (thylacoleo carnifex) ranges from 101 to 130kg
Best tame ever.stamina 500-can climb up trees and get a good laugh out of it and then you can get a good bite out of it for a while and then you have to go back to the gym and get a good workout in the morning so much fun
Stop parasuar abuse they don't deserve to be bait for taming creatures #stop parasuar abuse
