Lost my Wyvern to one of these was flying in the redwoods then BAM I’m knocked off my wyvern I got murdered then checked chat and my wyvern died too

Been trying to tame a level 7 Thylaceleo with exceptional Kibble and an Elixir and it refuses to tame. It barely even gets to 50% after eating three Exeptional Kibbles. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, I just want a tree kitty

I may have already said this, but use thyla to 100 sec any boss using it's bleed

If you have a large dinosaur your riding it can't knock you off

I never fly or walk into the redwoods because i lost a lot of loot and good tames to those beasts! I have found ways to avoid getting killed by these if you ever had to go to the redwoods :

-- wear a strong armor (flak works just great)

-- get a couple of strong tames or one strong tame (Giga, rex, therizino, etc) with you so that if you get ambushed by a thyla they'll kill it!

-- i would strongly recommend having a shotgun with high damage or any ascendant weapon that could kill the thyla in seconds

-- use stegos (they have the dismount prevention buff)

-- shooting the thylas with a net projectile could work (with a harpoon launcher)

-- increase your health so that you'll last longer when facing a thyla

i hope this helps you out, this also works with any other dismounting creatures (purlovias, kapros, microraptors, ect...)

These guys are probably the best mount in the game: fast, agile and deadly, if you get an amazing level and a breeding pair, get a baby, get it 100% imprint it’s perfect, mine can take out brontos, alpha raptors, rexes. He has me across the map and saved so many of my dinos by doing meat runs, although they get hide, pelt and keratin more than meat. I usually use mine for when I am doing metal runs to defend me from scorpions and sabertooth. If you’re up to that stage keep it in a cryopod at all times and throw it out when you are close to dying

Wearing a ghillie suit in the redwoods prevents you from being targeted and dismounted by these, unless you go right up to one.

If you want to battle one of these things, you will need a very strong weapon with some tranquilizer arrows and if you have those you can shoot them at the at those wannabe saber tooth and then they will be ded

taking a low level one (20) in a raft trap wish me luck I think he’s gonna wake up. But I think I can tame him and keep him asleep bc I have a trike and I can just destroy all bushes ever to exist for narcotics

note= I suggest keeping them asleep with 100s of narcoberries bc I fed him like 160 and he went from a quarter of the way awake to full

Pikes will save your life. Best chance against a pouncer if they jump you.

Best is Prime Meat Jerky & Cooked Meat if you don't have titanboa kibble, Cooked Lamb Chops or Raw Mutton. Doesn't take more then 30-40 minutes for a level 5. Does better then prime meat, raw meat.

The thing is that they prefer cooked food over raw food and that's just weird am I right?
