If you ever go to redwood, dont bring low level dinosaurs, or you will be ripped to shreds. Even flying dinosaurs will die.

This thing killed my pack of pterodons on my way to the volcano. Don’t fly inside of the redwood forest or you will lose a ton of your flying dinos

To kill pull out a pike and stab repeatedly.

Well this is definitely my favourite mount but also the most anoying dino to fight in the wild!!!

This animal attacked me out of nowhere and if it weren't for my chitin armor I would've been rekt, takes about 2-4 tranq darts to knock it out. It loses torpor very quickly and may require a lot of narcotic to keep it knocked out but its very worth it. It came with lots of health, stam, attack, and decent speed. Remember though, when I got attacked by this animal it was about a level 45-48

The drop bears are real!!!! Be scared, be very scared.....

In order to get a high level to spawn u must kill all lower levels u see

This beast of an animal can be found in Scorched Earth at the big horns and the canyon close to it btw that's south 4

These can be found on SE as well around the mountains near green obi. They sometimes climb the sheer rock faces so be careful when farming metal.

Luckily it's grab ability is limited to creatures smaller than or equal to a stego. Flyers beware, even quetzals.

Watch out for this guys when you are flaing around in the red woods. If you are unlucky they will catch just from over you...

If you what to survive an encounter with it on a saber tooth, or any thing smaller then a stego we, sorry pal.

You never see him coming

I look for these on Scortched earth or on the desert islands of Ragnarok. I don't even try at Redwoods, as this is the only place you'll find them hanging from the tree.

Flying sabertooth are a bit weird... once I saw it coming so was like OH SHIZ RUN and got my mount running really fast and thr kittydid a superman impression after me. If that happens, get a gun or a pike out and try to reason with it before it catches up to you and tried to slice you into ribbons

If you fly by the redwoods on the island either fly a bit above the tree tops or a bit away from the edge of the forest. If they aren't on the ground they seem to prefer halfway up redwood tree trunks. I got jumped by 3 so far, the last time was while i was going to tame one. DO NOT get close if you are on a tame, hop off, set a trap and have a bola ready. This things are glorious and fun as hell

These jumping sabors will jump off a tree and touch u in places you don't want. So be prepared to be walking in the redwoods and then OH SH:T WHAT JUST JUMPED AT ME
