To tame one you'll need a iguadon and some tranq arrows and shoot it but also try not to get killed because I almost lost mine.

These things are the best for keratin except for a mantis they're definitely way better than sabers sabers are quite bad at it

These guys aren’t good you mobile players want this thing without out knowing what its capable of so im going to tell you a story thats going to change your mind about this thing so i was going to the volcano area to tame a trex i got so lucky i traped this level 50 one and tamed it while i was going back i had to fly through the redwoods I couldn’t fly over the red woods so i don’t lose track of my trex so i had fly through the trees i got jumped by this guy level 100 by the way before my dinos could save me one 2 hits broke my all my flak amour and a other 3 hits killed me even when i gave it 2 sniper shot in its body im never flying in the red woods without a master craft shoutgun

I live deep in the Redwoods on Valguero. I have had many encounters. First always leave your flyer on passive, so it stays in the air if you are ambushed. Second, do not whistle follow on your flyer, you want it to stay airborn until you have resolved the problem. Third, resolve the problem by using a pump shotgun, look up and blast this thing until it stops moving, then shoot it again for good measure. If you fail to resolve the problem, your flyer will be in the air around where your body is. Either way you can whistle it to follow when ready. Make sure to have a spare flyer and a spare pair of undies.

For all those asking whether these are on mobile personally I’ve never seen one but you can unlock the saddle

Use a bunch of large bear traps and every time it breaks out it will get stuck again allowing you to knock it out and tame I tamed a 112 thyla this way.

The Thylacoleo can only be found in the red woods of the island.

Thylacoleo aren't meant for utility but they are efficient at collecting hide!

Thylacoleo are hard tames case of their environment I would recommend taming a thylacoleo with cook lamchop and have a snow owl to heal the thylacoleo and don't use the thylacoleo instantly!

Can anyone tell me if I can find thylacoleo in the island map I think it’s here in this update but not sure

All around great tame. The melee is excellent, stam and speed are good, and the best plus is its climbing ability.

Carry a pike, idiots. Stab it in the face. Thyla are pussies and are easily killed if you're in full flak, don't even need ramshackle.

Very useful to crawl over peoples gates a kill all there tames. Very strong indeed

If you fly through the redwoods make sure you are on a dragon they will not attack you out of the tree when you are riding a dragon

Torpor goes down very fast and found it in the Redwoods area on the center

So to knock out one of this bad boys my best suggestion is to bring a pterosaur because these things will climb stuff. Also these things wreck alot
