If you upgrade this beast it can become a mount better than the raptor for many reasons you should not question unless you want to see what a thylacoleo might do to a raptor

If you live in redwoods and you are having war with other people tame these climb a tree and wait tell your freinds to do same and once your enemies come jump off grab them knock them out and put them in a metal cage in a room with pegos outside in case they have stuff and boom you have prisoners

Make a trike taming pen but taller. Stop these guys up with an Argy and throw them in there. Tranq them out and be prepared to keep them asleep with narcotic. I like to find these on the NE side of the mountain area on Scorched Earth so they can’t jump out of a tree and knock you off your tame.

Good for travel up and down cliffs or anything. Awesome tame. One of my favorites.

Easy tame just shoot it with a harpoon launcher with the nets, then place wooden billboards around it, it can not get out.

They can run up redwood trees and cliffs by pressing the jump button while facing the cliff/tree. They can also climb down again, they can pounce and they barely take fall damage. They can only climb up and down though, not left or right.

A very good tame it’s fast great damage and fun to ride around in also great for cave exploration and surprising enemies in pvp

Knock out with a net gun, then tranq. Remember to net gun every few seconds.

The cheapest way of taming one of these is with a crossbow on top of a dino with a lot of hp, but that only works with low level ones. For high levels, you'll need to build a taming pen using stone doorframes. A 2×2×2 pen will work just fine, just be sure to kill all hostile dinos in the area.

I just fly around the redwoods for ages until one of these shows it’s face trying to kill a dilo and then I pick it up and back to the pen we go. Tamed 3 like this

Actually tame it with cooked meat. It works better.

If you want to find one. Fly through Redwoods. If you want to avoid them. Fly above treetops.

Do not ride your flyer pet near to the forest wood because the thylacoleo can kill you easily

These things are amazing for traversing scorched. You find them randomly around the map. Ive bred a few now. No regrets

Usually you can see them really well because they jutt out from trees really far. But if they are on the other side of the tree they can still se you and can jump through the tree. Let people know
