Absolute killer chicken, take forever to tame and do not recommend as a tame unless playing in tribes because they tare through bases

I found this little cliff area and put a lot of stone pillars in a sort of wall formation. I then baited the boi into the gate and then tramped him in with remaining pillars. Afterwards I went to town on him with with darts (About 50 even though he was a level 240) then BAMM! The murder nails boi was mine. :)

How I did this : I built a trap two walls high (these things are kinda tall) lead it into the trap ,put crops and bio toxin in its inventory,went to sleep in game woke to it at fifty percent taming rate when the other day it was 20 ,waited,feed it toxins,went to sleep again,now it’s 80 ,waited for it to tame cause I couldn’t go back to sleep for a while,it finally tamed,now I have a level 7 theri .(yes I know it’s low level,I’m low level okay-)

just tamed our first today, lvl 1, we managed to got him stuck in our wall, his head was visible so we just kept bombarding him with anesthetizing arrows till he was knocked out. we tamed him with mejoberries only but it took forever so if you can get kibbles go for it

Build a trap using pillars (stone ones) they are very aggressive ( obviously) so it won’t be hard but won’t be easy I recommend being lvl 50 or over to tame a therazino

Actually gets stuck quite easily. Seen many of these guys stuck between palm trees. They don’t aggro if stuck, so place some stone walls on the rear end to actually prevent escaping. Then do your usual taming tactics. Good luck!

Ingredients for taming: Obi Wan’s high ground, 50 tranq darts, at least a hundred narcotics, 100 rawkarrots, and the hope that another one doesn’t see you and shoves a claw up your bum

Y'know the green resurrection obelisk? Yea, they can be found there and can be easily tamed there. Bring a flying mount with decent HP and lure the tickle chicken to a cliff. Demount and spam darts - these chickens can't climb/fly, so that should be the easiest way (other than the travel time) to tame a therizinosaurus. Don't forget nacrotics!

You know that if you mutate an Equus (mine being a lvl 325 with a 29 stack of melee mutations) and run up to a 150 Therizino. You will die and your horsie

this thing is op i tamed one cuz it got stuck in a tree and yeah it was ez to knock out took a while to tame, the saddle took 5 days in the game to get the stuff to craft it but once u can ride it it will be much easier to survive

Therizinos are very hard to tame since they are fast and very strong. Plus they aggro once close by it which we all know happens to us. So try to get a high ground which means no close combat only ranged. Meaning no fists and clubs. Only bows, cross, or a compound bow. With tranq arrows. Or darts if you can make a longneck. Once knocked it will take awhile with mejo or crops. But Have a lot of narcotics or narcoberries if you have a harvesting dino with you.

How to tame this bird:

1.make trap like base 2 wall high

2.Place 4 wooden ramp so theri can climb in

3.clean all tree and rock so you can lead theri go to trap with no problem

4.For make him stay longer place giant bear trap

5.Shoot him

6.Feed him soothing balm 10×(u can get it free by daily gift)

7.Feed him crop

It’s ok to be afraid of these guys, if u wanna tame them however, you are gonna have to be a bit brave. Put your tame(s) on passive, grab your weapon of choice + ammo, 16 stone pillars and a large bear trap. Using 7 of your pillars, snap each in place with one spot left empty (For the theriz to enter). Place another 7 on top of your current pillars (so there’s two “layers”) and place the large bear trap somewhere in the middle, comfortably away from the edges of the trap. Now get your theriz. You can snipe it or punch it to agro, whatever is comfortable for you, and run to your trap. Run immediately behind the trap so the theriz runs right into the middle and gets caught in the bear trap (if it loses agro just shoot it and it should run over) . Swiftly move around to the back and place your last two pillars down, one on top of the other, walling the theriz in. Stay away from the trap edges and start tranqing the theriz. Stay calm and keep a slow but steady rate of tranqs. As soon as it’s knocked out, pause the game and take a breather, you have done the hardest part, now, just put in your food and tranqs and monitor it’s progress.

I tamed a high level one at level 42

To random lvl 37:

High ground, mejoberries are among the best, narcs to use are bio toxin (around 250+ or so, depending on the level, to get just kill the jellyfish) crossbow is alright, but tranq dart would be better. Go for the head, check hp always with a spyglass, then let it recover a bit if its health is too low to prevent you from accidentally killing it. Make sure the high ground you’re on is a CLIFF facing big rocks (this thing can walk over rocks so watch out for that also can push trees out of the way, dunno if that is a glitch but whatever). Always have a flyer at the ready, ptera is good. Taming pen is a bit hard because this bastard can damage stone with its beak attack, which can also give you torpor if it hits you. Also equip a shield, just in case. Saved my ass from lvl 130+ theris in case a hunt went wrong. Best armor to use is flak, no more no less if you wanna fight this guy, tho it can melt flak and also pierce straight through that. Pissing it off then climbing to a nearby rock a sarco can climb on spells instant death for you. Killing this as a lvl 37 is impossible without a good sword and shield at the ready. Spino also takes good care of killing this bastard. One mark for a therizinosaur is if there’s too many herbivores in the area that should normally be filled with raptors or terror birds. You’re gonna need a ton of tranq arrows to knock it out though, with a certain chance of death.
