Ingredients for taming: Obi Wan’s high ground, 50 tranq darts, at least a hundred narcotics, 100 rawkarrots, and the hope that another one doesn’t see you and shoves a claw up your bum

Y'know the green resurrection obelisk? Yea, they can be found there and can be easily tamed there. Bring a flying mount with decent HP and lure the tickle chicken to a cliff. Demount and spam darts - these chickens can't climb/fly, so that should be the easiest way (other than the travel time) to tame a therizinosaurus. Don't forget nacrotics!

The best way to kill these things is to get some carbonyms and send them after it. If you don’t have at last three you’re screwed.

When taming these you cannot bola them, so what I like to do is make large bear traps. When I find one I want, I fly to a spot where they won’t aggro, but are still visible and land. Then place bear traps, and run to the therizino, but have the bear traps close because they do have decent speed. Then just lure them into the bear traps, and tranq them, and feed favorite kibble.

Does anyone think I can face tank it with a level 23 trike(the theri I am going for is level 4)

To random lvl 37:

High ground, mejoberries are among the best, narcs to use are bio toxin (around 250+ or so, depending on the level, to get just kill the jellyfish) crossbow is alright, but tranq dart would be better. Go for the head, check hp always with a spyglass, then let it recover a bit if its health is too low to prevent you from accidentally killing it. Make sure the high ground you’re on is a CLIFF facing big rocks (this thing can walk over rocks so watch out for that also can push trees out of the way, dunno if that is a glitch but whatever). Always have a flyer at the ready, ptera is good. Taming pen is a bit hard because this bastard can damage stone with its beak attack, which can also give you torpor if it hits you. Also equip a shield, just in case. Saved my ass from lvl 130+ theris in case a hunt went wrong. Best armor to use is flak, no more no less if you wanna fight this guy, tho it can melt flak and also pierce straight through that. Pissing it off then climbing to a nearby rock a sarco can climb on spells instant death for you. Killing this as a lvl 37 is impossible without a good sword and shield at the ready. Spino also takes good care of killing this bastard. One mark for a therizinosaur is if there’s too many herbivores in the area that should normally be filled with raptors or terror birds. You’re gonna need a ton of tranq arrows to knock it out though, with a certain chance of death.

If you tame one of these and put spike walls around to protect it while taming beware titanoboa can come right through the spike walls and attack like they are not even there. Also clear the small plants and underbrush away so you can see it coming because they can sneak through the plants and attack your unconscious tame and you won't see it until too late.

First time it ripped me in half second time I put a large bear. Trap on the ground and shot it while it was stuck from a high rock then I shoved mejoberrys down it’s throat.

Tamers beware! They're brutal and unforgiving. Build a 2x2 stone doorframe pen with ramps on the side. They can damage stone but only barely.. long enough to tranq em out! Just have plenty of narc on you. It's torpor drains quick.

I tamed 12 and put a saddle on them I thing they are great for war!

1. Get A LOT of trancs

2. Find a steep/or where it can’t hit you and you can see it (at least the small part of the tail

3. After finding the cliff face find a theiz. Near or right under you

4.Part 1) Get kibble and a good soothing balm (I prefer the major than the minor) (I friend with the regular one but the other drowned and took both the kibble and soothing balm TwT) btw it only takes one kibble with the major balm

4.Part 2) get enough food and a small or any balm tranc it and for this you HAVE to have a lot of narcotics

5. After knocking it down DO NOT LEAVE IT FOR OVER A MIN! It will wake up IMMEDIATELY so warning about that before you go all “O NO I HAVE NOT ANY FOOD ON ME, LETS GO GET SOME!” And don’t feed it flowers it will wake up and start running again I have been though that well I force feed it because it would not eat it.

Tip #1: have somewhat of a flyer so no need to travel on foot for that will take longer.

These things torpor drops way faster in mobile if your on single player just knock out a low level one these will break all your armor up if helpful

2x3 stone fence foundation. Stone dino gate on one end and doorframes 2 high the rest of the way around. Bother it, run into the trap, out the doorframes, then place the door on the gateway and start shooting. *DO NOT USE A COMBINATION OF DOORFRAMES AND WALLS FOR YOUR TRAP, IT WILL WALK THROUGH THE GODDAMN WALL LIKE NOBODY'S BUSINESS*

I git this unconscious but suddenly it was going to fast i can't craft a ton of narctics and can't capture some jellyfish then i decided to leave it alone i might die that day but i chose to not NEVER get close to them if you don't have tames ready and long range it can kill an army and always look around whenever you see the danger sign

I tamed a theriznosaurus with I don't know maybe 20 tranq arrows yeah WAIT 5 SECONDS AFTER EVERY SHOT YOU DONT NEED TO USE 50 TRANQ ARROWS THESE ARE NORMALLY FALSE THEY DO NOT INCLUDE THE TIMING IN BETWEEN SHOTS also I use narcoberries no narcotics for me

you should definitely make a trap to tame this, theres some cheap designs on yt

Bring a crossbow (it will only take 8 hits until ko), bio toxin, crops, narcoberries, monitor the creature, keep it knocked out, then you have a tough, dangerous tame!

Build argy trap to tame and trap him in argy trap and fire tranqs till he is down and he needs narcs so feed him narcs and soothing balm.
