How to tame easy and fast with no kibble

1 build a 2x2 square stone base(4 total) with 2 stone door frames tall as walls (16 total). Build a wooden or better ramp so that therizino can enter the wood cage

2 go get lots of tranq arrows and a couple of bows/crossbows. Get lots of crops. DO NOT put it to sleep yet

3 go to sleep, this is a MUST. This way, therizino loses all food bar. Therizino won't Scape the stone cage

4 the first thing you do when waking up is go and put therizino to sleep.

5 feed it all your crops. It will tame super fast but loses a bit of efficiency. It won't even need narcotics but bring some just in case

For most dinos you build a trap and lure it in.

For a Theri, that's wrong. You still build a solid structure... but it's for YOU. You don't dance with this thing trying to get it in... you build a shark cage made of window-walls to KEEP IT OUT.

I have never seen one of these murderous mofos flee very far, if at all, from torpor. They'll keep trying to slice your face off right until they keel over. Build a window-bunker nearby, cower inside while you tranq it.

You have NO IDEA how fast their torpor drops, so be prepared for that. But you'll die a lot less if you immediately turn and run for your bunker as soon as it aggro to you then shoot it from within, rather than trying to maneuver it into a trap.

It can hit stone but only does 1 dam a hit but that’s only if it’s wild if it’s tamed it can’t

So stone traps still work

Not hard to tame them. U must come prepared. You do the hunting missions and get one bow that has around 300 dmg if im not wrong. Use that bow with tranqs you need wayyy less shots. Build a raft trap with stone door frames. Make a ramp and lure it into the trap. Dont waste narcos to keep ot down just look for some cnidarias, kill them and use bio toxin. :)

I just tamed a lvl 20 theri and it took 1hr and 200 narcotics. This thing was a pain in the bootycheeks to tame but well worth it. It gathers a crap tone of berries, rare flowers, rare mushrooms, and also a good amount of thatch/wood. I recommend having around 50-70 tranq darts if you want to knock out a high lvl theri.

525 narcotic

Each citronal = 5 narcotic

When he eat give him 5 narcotic

With this method his torpor stay the same as he about to eat

Its hard to kill because if you want to go on a rock it will come to no matter how much its height

If you see this thing RUN it killed me in 2 hit

i just taming try taming it with a high level trike. and it works, because i can hit the therizino on his head, when the therizino attack my trike. and i tamibg two therizino at the same time. you just didn't have to unmount when you're on your trike

So you wanna tame this big chicken eh well young one you are gonna need 9 large bear traps,50 tranq arrows (just to be on the safe side take 80),a whole lotta berries and bio toxin cause this bois torpor rate drops fast

So first things first grab a pterandon and your large bear trap your bow with the tranq arrows and a sniper rifle with 10 bullets

Then find a theri once you find one find a open space where you can see it clearly so i doesnt sneak up on you and make your efforts useless

After those place your large bear traps on rows of 3 then go back to your desired theri with your pt and shoot it once with your sniper and bait it to your bear traps and just spam its head with the tranq arrows wait for it to fall and voila you just knocked out one of the most dangerous chickens you ever saw in your life

Then of course the usual taming with the berries and bio toxin

NOTE: DONT LEAVE IT FOR LONG CAUSE ITS TORPOR DROPS FAST AND IT MIGHT ESCAPE OR KILL YOU AND YOUR PTERANDON

This guy literally took hours to tame. I recommend getting TONS of bio toxin, normal narcotics aren’t effective enough, and TONS of berries and or vegetables and most importantly you’ll need TONS of patience

Tamed mine by shooting with tranq arrows, flying a bit away on a ptero, shooting more until it went down, shoved berries down it's throat, then waited. Took a whole in game 24 hours, found it low level far side of blue obelisk island on the center.

This funny turkey has funny ai but is quite easy to tame.

Just lure it to a cliff, knock it out, keep it asleep and feed it.

People saying it’s powerful all I did was stand on a hill shoot it on the face then when it started running I just chased after it and knocked it out. Efficient other than getting attacked by raptors

I would recommend to tame this guy with kibble because it takes 4 hours to tame a level 100 if you use berries

VERY DANGEROUS CREATURE Be carful use tranq DARTS

Large Bear Traps are inefficient, you gotta get on a high and steep rock and tranq it; chase it when it flees and continue to tranq. I’ve gotten them unconscious but their torpor drops very quick and it can be dangerous

So I tamed it really easy find one shoot it with traunqs on a cliff don't worry because most are next to a cliff then once it's knocked out use smoothing balm then tons of berries and just wait and boom it tamed and now I have ten high levels.

Saw a high level right in the beach, took my trapping boat (3x3x2 with ramps) and stopped by it. It walked right in lol no aggro or baiting

Just tamed a raptor and this thing walked past and ate it whole. Then I let it chase me to the base where I attempted to tame it. Shot it with over 20 tranqs and nothing. It destroyed my base and killed half my tames. Please just stay away from these things.
