If you want to tame this guy there isn't such things called luck just take a high ground and pray he/she doesn't reach it or else the rest is history

Once you trap you'll never go back! Just make sure your trap is 3 high and at least 3 long in the direction they follow you in. They launch pretty far off the ramp at sprinting speed, learned the hard way!

When i was a beginner in the game i was like maybe lvl 15 i tamed a level 24 raptor and for newbies its a very high level so while i was on my way home trying to bring the raptor in my base this thing killed my raptor i just had the raptor for like 2 mins then i took my revenge by taming kapro,trice 3low level raptors and i just had my successful revenge without having any of my tamed dinos killed

Use 4 metal billboards. Place down 3 to form a box with a large bear trap in the middle have him chase you in on a flyer. When he's hit by the trap fly around and place the 4th billboard.

Tips that say you need a stone trap are dead wrong you just need a 2x2x2 wood door trap and a decent longneck

If your a low level just do the dilo hunt and you will get a master craft bow save it and get to level 21 and by then you should have already learned narcotic so u can get tranq arrows then use the saved mastercraft bow to knock it out then if you want you can watch adds for 10 Amber buy a soothing balm a there you go

Easy tame if you know exactly what you are doing. For me I lived at south zone 3 where there were one roaming around so I decided to tame on with 10x soothing balm and crops taming went up by 9 or 8 percent and I had more than 100 biotoxin and next thing you know it I have a male theri named slasher

I tamed this behemoth when it was lvl 23, so here are some tips:

1. Materials you need: a crossbow(can be primitive), at least 20 tranq darts(you won’t need all of them but just in case), around 50 narcotics, 50 mejoberries(at least), and at least 2 large bear traps.

2. The process: shoot it from a good distance away to start the agro and lead it to your first bear trap(dead sprint and don’t look back). Move behind you second bear trap and UNLEASH ALL YOU CAN ON THAT THING. Once knocked out, put all your mejoberries and narcotics in its inventory. When the torpor fall below 700, force-feed it 20 narcotics or so. Then, wait for it to be tamed, keeping in mind to watch the torpor, and before you know it you have a pet chicken!

Have fun thinking you’ll be able to knock this thing out with a couple hits to the face with tranqs from a crossbow🤦‍♀️ This thing runs away when injured crazy fast and then will turn around and come after you. Make sure there is no other predictors around because you’re about to play your scariest game of tag with the therizinosaurus. Also if I can offer any advice keep shooting it in the legs/tail with tranqs to keep them asleep, make sure you watch it’s health ofc.

So to make it easy first get narcotics arrows or whatever that can put it to sleep..

Step….

1 Get all what u need to feed it first, Kibble or berries!!

2 get narcotic arrows,

3 shot at the theorizor, until it runs from u

3 when runs from you, you need to place a thatch base or wooden base whatever and sleep for 7 hours near it

4 when you wake up see it and shot the last narcotic arrow

5 after just fulls the inventory with food and walaaaa u got it so easy.

Same trick works to tame whatever type of animals in ark

To the person needing tips on how to tame a therizino on mobile:

So, the only way to tame one is feeding it torpor inducing food such as narcotics, bio toxins and other stuff. If you don't want to make narcotics, you can go hunt some cnidarias, they give bio toxins which are more effective than narcotics but be careful since they do spoil. You might want to build some structures around your unconscious therizino to protect it and stop it from running away in case it wakes up. I suggest staying there with it for the whole time until it's tamed to feed it narcotics/bio toxins/... and make sure it doesn't wake up while taming, maybe build a camp there since it'll take quite a long time to tame it if you don't have kibbles available. I'm on mobile too and have tamed 4 therizinosaurs just using bio toxins and mejoberries. If you have soothing balm, you can use it on the dino to shorten the process. Hope this helped!

I recommend making a trap . Use stone pillars in a 3 x 3 up by 3 , on one side leave a gap place a stone gate there. You can use the trap for griffins too just a ceilings in top.

Trust me, don’t use narcotics when taming a high lvl one; use bio toxins instead because they do a lot more torpor and this things torpor drains fast. I recommend at least 800 bio toxin. That is how I managed to get a lvl 130 using mejos and bio toxin. Also, these things are a pain to knock out.

You need 6 wooden fountain and 20 dour foundation and 100+ narcotics and 80 tranq dart and on eshoothing balm and you have one therizinosaurus

Do not be fooled. . .these things eat berries and NOT meat. They are just hostile herbivores.

In Extinction they can be found in the Crater Forest at the base of the fallen tower. The webish root-like structures nearby (part of their path) are PERFECT terrain tame spots just above their reach. Perch your argy. Use darts and crossbow bolts. (All bolts will kill these fragile Hellspawn Quails. ). They leave and return so don’t think they are torpor running too soon. Once knocked out feed them berries, keep some narco berries in em for when they are at half way, when they are, force feed a whole stack of the narcos, that’s all they need even at Max level. ( usually) Wait for the tame message. You’ve just tamed the devil. Up to spread the news!

When training levels 130+, bring a few hundred narcotics. I'm on a 4x server and he still ate through about 150

Tame it. It doesn't matter if you don't have it's saddle yet. it can protect you from most things and it's easy to tame. TAME IT IF YOU'RE ATLEAST LV.28!!

There's 2 ways to tame it. But both requires you to be Atleast 140% speed or else you're dead before you even try to trap it 💀

here's the first way

1. Make a wooden trap if it's below lv.20 Make a stone trap if its lv.30 to 40 and make A trap that it can't harm if it's too high leveled

[ Things you need for the trap, 4 foundations, 16 Doorframes, 4 to 6 ramps ]

2. have Atleast 60 to 70 Narcotics and Atleast 30 Biotoxins you can get biotoxin from the Cnaridia the glowing jelly fish in lakes/oceons/rivers It can be found in every body of water except swamps

3. have 25 to 30 Traq arrows if you're using a crossbow and 40 Traq arrows if you're using a bow

4. gets some rockcarrots Atleast 30 or 40 of them and if you don't have rockcarrots then Just use 200 to 250 mejoberries

5. make it chase you into the trap and start using Traq arrows on it once it goes down just put the food into its inventory and Protect it and Check it's torpor Every Minute and Boom. now you have you're very own Tickle chicken

6. (Bonus) If it doesn't go in the trap Then YOU go in the trap Destroy the ramps then keep tranqing it till it runs and chase it till it goes down if it keeps moving diff angles like if it goes to the left side Just make sure you Go diff ways and away from it before it turns you into a hashtag

Second way

1. Go into a big enough mountine or Platform ( no. You can stack yourself up. With structures. )

2. Make sure it can't climb it and catch it's attention with a Slingshot, then Traq it with the same amount of traqs like in the first Way and Use the same narco and biotoxin and food Like in the first way

3. if it tries to run away just try and keep shooting it but if it runs into trees and you can't shoot it from far distance then start chasing the trackstar out of it then Once it's down put the food and narcos and toxins in it's invo and check every 1 minute and Check around for things that might destroy the taming progress like micro raptors, raptors, dilos, and other small stuff like compys

4. after it's done taming reward yourself from over coming the small heart attacks you keep getting when you got chased by it and go murk some raptors and Some other things you can murk with it, Also harvest barries with it once you have it's saddle because holy bongos it can Go toe to toe with a wild rex once it's Atleast 5 levels higher than the wild rex because it has high health and Good attacks + can be as fast or even faster than a raptor
