I recommend having a flyer for this one... I am I think level 54. I have a pterandadon, I just kept shooting this bright blue female thera, then I would fly away and wait until she left me alone again. and in no time at all she was locked out. PLEASE BE PREPARED. They’re torpor drain is high! Bring at east 200-300 narcotics/80-100 bio toxin for a lower levle.

Being a herbivore these big things attacks and kills everything that it sees.It killed my trike and me that was the best colour trike I could find but these friken things killed it . 1 up a respect to my trike .

At first they are really scary and really op let's be real. But once you find out you can easily knock one out with about 30-50 tranq arrows. They stop being so scary. Easiest way is probably to craft 2 big bear traps place them next to each other lure it into them and then just knock it out. If you can't craft those yet. Then I recommend trying to get on a Big o rock that it can't climb and just shoot it from there. They take a long time to tame unless you have a soothing balm.

I use 16 stone pillars in a box formation and stack it 2 high with a large bear trap works decently well and is pretty cheap. You could only it use only 8 pillars and a large bear trap to make it cheaper. All you have to do is setup the box and leave it open put bear trap in the middle and have it chase you into the trap and simply slip through the gap in between the pillars and when it’s stuck in the trap go behind it and use the last 2-1 pillars I have and seal it in. Works great I’ve used this trap for other tames such as wooly rhinos and a yutyranus probably works for rex’s too.

These thing are annoying to tame they eat so slow there torpor drains so fast they knock you out on your mount and kill it I just recommend kibble because it takes so long and you cant leave it for one second because it’s torpor.

I hate these they have kill all tames and all my tek dinos but now I hunt them but I still miss my teky the tek parasaur

Tame them they can do it all get a lot of wood and fiber and bares and thassg.

to the guy with the lvl 3 para: at your level, i would leave it be, hope that it moves away. (dont be like me and die 3 times trying to get it to fight a bronto only to realize herbivores cant fight other herbivores) if you wish to fight it, i would recommend getting a bow, (maybe do the “Hunt Dilo” for a chance to get an ascendant bow), and go to a ledge to shoot at it. i would make sure you’re aiming at it from a place somewhat far from your base and make sure your para is on passive, it will 100% die

also, the range on the theri’s attacks can be kind of scary depending on the ledge so still be careful

There are herbivores but will kill on sight and if your a new player you can mistake them for a baryonex because of the way they move through the water. If your in the early game steer clear of these beasts but they are pretty good tames mid to late game. You can not bola them or at least I can’t but none the less there are deadly

Theri's can walk easily over 1 high walls. Build all walls 4 high or use dinosaur gates as walls and you are fine and safe from most threats.

Best way to trap them: drop trap. Build stone foundations in a 5 by 5 square at least, then build double door frames 4 high (tall), then put a ramp on one side. Peck it with a flying mount, then fly over the ramp and let it fall into the trap. Use a spyglass to tell you the level, then tranq it out. BRING EXTRA tranqs and narcotic. These things eat narcs like candy.

"Therizino"aka herbivore giga I mean it doesn't have around 70k health but it's damage is like very good it is a good harvester of berries fibres and maybe wood it is a good one of my favourites

Make a 3x3 stone floor surrounded with 2*height double door frame. This will make a cage that you can enter and get out simply but not the therizino. Then add some rams/stairs leading into the cage. Lure the therizino into the cage and knock it out easily with tranquil arrow. This cage trap can be built on a raft as well.

These things are super powerful. You cannot kill them on foot, and even with a mount it is hard. They do massive amounts of damage and have a lot of health. Rather just run. Run and pray it doesn't follow.

Excellent gatherer of berries, fibres ,wood etc.They can also gather raw meat prime meat etc.Most importantly hell of a tame they are.Very strong .A high level one can kill almost anything.This is my favourite dino in the game.The utility,damage everything is up there.Excellent tame.

I call them tickle chickens. Definitely build trap plus large bear trap then unload tranqs.
